FOR THE LAST WEEK, I have not been able to do any instance or dungeon. I don’t get dialogue box when members enter instance. When I enter portal, I’m in a seperate instance.

So….is there a fix?

I havent been able to enter explorable mode since almost a week now, The bug is this. When im in a party and someone enters, the “join your party” thing pops up for me as always, but when i click “join” nothing happens, and i stay in Caledon forest, the same happens the other way around, when i enter first and the others try to join me, they are unable, nothing happens for them too and they stay in Caledon forest, ive tried reloging and reforming the party, but still nothing. I have submited many bug reports but i see no improvement, and not only this, there many skill point bugs across the world, many personal story bugs, guild bugs, cliping issues, i have a friend that sometimes goes through the floor for no reason, i mean, come on Arenanet, you can do better than this, i paid for a game that should be working properly, and im entitled to see it working properly, i demand some kind of compensation for this, oviously you did something wrong and we, the users, cant enjoy our game anymore, Riot Games compensates when they screw up something, and their game is free, we paid for GW2, i hope you know what you’re doing

I have not been able to enter this instance with a party. I tried with two separate groups but am unable to enter the instance, neither from the popup after joining the group or from walking up to the portal. On two occasions during this process, I was able to enter the dungeon via the portal but was placed in my own instance. I tried relogging and zoning out of Queensdale and back. Neither of these worked.

Always separating the party when we go inside (when we are able to go inside btw, most of the times we cant even enter) also lots of times cant do personal story quests with friends, the party system looks that is completely broken.

Unable to enter dungeon. Popup queue to join party does nothing. Running into door myself to join party does nothing. Leaving group and being re-invited while everyone is inside to re-pop queue does nothing. Only way I can get in is if I leave party, re-log, and go in myself. However, no one can join my instance. I was once able to get in yesterday when a guildy was in the group. We did the invite me after everyone else was in dungeon and it worked. Cannot get it to work again. Please help.

Sorrow’s Embrace Story, Crystal Desert. Party was not unable join dungeon and attempting to enter the dungeon through the door individually led to players being led to separate instances. Two attempts today.

On Northern Shiverpeaks server I have been trying to get into the Sorrow’s Embrace dungeon for the first time and cannot find enough people to form a party. I have tried to get into the overflow server by changing areas or logging out but it no longer seems possible. There is no queue here. Many get bored waiting and leave. It does not help that the LFG flag, search, and advertisment are all kittened. I can understand trying to keep chat noise down but the filtering is too heavy and the tools for searching and grouping are too light. I also understand cutting the rewards for second timers but it is difficult to group right now. Please just offer a choice at the gate-keeper to go to the overflow world to at least combine the popluation.

Issue: Got a full 5 member party, entered the dungeon, all of us were put into seperate instances. According to map chat, this is happenign to many other players too.

1 or 2 persons getting in theyre own version.

Tried kicking him/her and reinv but it didnt work.
Re making pt didnt work.
Tried all kinds of things but all faild.
PLZ FIX THIS BUG!
Hate waiting hours to get a pt that can get inside.

Portal to Jumping Puzzle in Eternal BG only works 10% of the time, the rest I get stuck on loading screen

In AC, I’ve tried on two separate occasions to replay the story mode, but both times I’m not allowed to enter the same instance as the other 4 group members. When given the option to join, either by walking up to the portal or teleporting, I’ll hit join but nothing happens. If I do get in, I’m loaded to a separate instance from them but no one can join me. Not sure why this is happening…

Both story and explorable mode are either putting players into different instances or just not letting them enter at all. Tried the usual methods as I’ve encountered this problem before, but it’s not a player side issue.

Don’t know if it is a party issue or dungeon but it’s been nearly 2 weeks since the problem started! When I changed worlds I had no problem with doing story mode. Due to many problems like this my whole guild is thinking of changing world permanently… :/

Dungeon Sorrow’s Embrace

Dungeon kept segregating me from the rest of the group. After i entered once, and found myself alone, i would have to exit dungeon. At this point, it wouldn’t even let me in dungeon for SM or EM. I would leave party, relog/go to another zone, etc, trying to get it to work. After i did relog/go to another zone, regroup, it would let me zone into instance alone again. But that didnt help anything. It only happened to me today. yesterday, it was another guy that was the odd man out. /shrug

I know you guys are working really hard, but if changing it back fixes the problem,and its farmable for a few days more, i think you should consider it.

i hate gold spammers. i hate exploiters. and i’m jealous of their swag. but this specific problem, as i understand it, has been going on since last patch. and now it affects me. :/

A few hours ago, I tried to do the the story mode of the Crucible of Eternity dungeon, however, when my group tried entering the dungeon, we got separated into our own different instances.

3/4 through the dungeon and one party member disconnected. After logging back in, he COULD NOT get connected to our dungeon instance. Tried logging off and logging back in, tried inviting multiple times.

We finally got him in when he logged off, logged in with another character, logged off, then logged back in with his original character. Then after we invited him back to party, he was able to connect to our instance.

Game could not recognise one player in the party being in the same map despite not having an overflow (seems to be a party problem). We could all enter into the same instance except for said player.

We tried both walking in and using the pop up (pop up failed first, running in resulted in the same problem)

We tried reforming with 2 other party members (including said member) and still no luck. Said member could not enter the instance.

The dynamic event leading up Arah door opening is bugged. It’s stuck at “Troops are gathering at Caer Briar”, it’s been like that for 3 hours now. I think it’s because the dynamic event “Escort the crashed team to Meddler’s waypoint” is bugged (crashed team won’t move from crash site).

Just tried to do a story mode group for HotW and we couldn’t even get in the door. It asked the question, then after clicking we were still outside.

Can’t get into instance together. When i clicked joinm nothing happens. Bugged for 4 days.

We did did AC story mode. All 5 entered dungeon. First guy says “going afk 20 min” at first pull. Since the rest of us didnt want to wait 20 mintues we voted to kick and get a new member.

The kick was successful, his char was left standing in dungeon.

Result was that only 4 people could enter dungeon because the instance was full. “Leaving and reentering” did not help, “disband and regroup” did not help.

All of us were blocked for AC then.

Note: A lot of people don’t do dungeons because of stuff like this. Fix it please it really messes up a key gaming ingredient.

Three bugs in a row.

Ascalon Catacombs Explorable. We did the Luitenant, the trap event and we head over to the Mortar boss, where you need to fix the mortars while ghosts spawn. But nothing happened, we clicked, tried, reformed everything, but nothing.

We wanted to enter Crucible of Eternity: Story Mode. But the group was constantly split up in two dungeons (random who was in who). We tried to relog, restart, reform the group and who started the instance. We also didn’t received a pop up (when someone enters the dungeon), so we all had to walk in one by one.

After that we tried Honor of Waves: Story Mode. Same problem, we tried the same things, no solution. This time the group was constantly split up in a group of 4 and a group of 1. Very, very strange.

Very annoying and a bit game breaking. Bah.

No one has been able to get into CoF Story Mode for the last 2 days. When someone manages to get in, they’re alone and in their own seperate instance.

Been trying to get in to Arah for the past week, managed to do so once. Everybody is complaining and discussing the quest chain to be stuck.

What I don’t get is that all areas are instanced, so how the dinges do you get it right to have different bugged dungeons on different servers?

For going on 1 week now everyone has had the same issue. Parties are either split into seperate instances or just plain cannot enter the dung. Doesnt work whether you try entering thru portal or clicking the join option.
Also different members get different options, when trying to enter explorable some members get eplorable join button, others only get story mode button, clicking on any of them has no result whatsoever.
It has been bugged so long now you cant even find anyone at the entrance becuase everyone has given up.

Caudecus’s Manor. All five of us tried to get in, not a single person could enter. We had someone leave and enter on their own, then tried to rejoin his party- still hitting ‘join party in explorable mode’ button was broken. Never got it working and eventually gave up.

Twilight Arbor. Four people were able to enter the dungeon. One person came to the area a little later than the rest, and was forced into a separate instance, despite having selected ‘join party in dungeon’ option. After leaving and re-entering several times, it finally works.

In Yak’s bend AC Story mode, after the party kicking out a person who left his computer but didn’t leave the party, I got out of the dungeon and found a new 5th member. After that, we couldn’t get back into the same instance and whoever got out lost the instance as well. Please fix it as playing for a dungeon over an hour just to find a bug and end up getting almost no xp for it is really a turn off.

we stuck on boss Gigantus Lupicus, we tried to kill him 10 times, hes so op killing us whit 1 hit but thats ok np, but why hes reseting then we near him, we kill like 60% hp and hes reset

my game client always crash during encounter Ghost Eater Phase on AC EX path2, everyday and bad news if im re-login too late (ghost eater died) , im not recieve any reward from complete reward, please check about crash issue

Same as the poster further up the page, our group is consistently split between two instances. Relogging, Reforming, having different people invite, all does nothing.

Just tried to do this Sory Mode for the first time with a group. Was invited to join group, acquired the 5 necessary people then all headed for the entrance and clicked on the ‘enter dungeon’ bit. I watched the story introduction video then was plonked inside the catacombs, on my lonesome, for ages. Just standing there looking bored. A couple of the group had things pop up in my chat but they were nowhere to be seen and I couldn’t do the dungeon. I assume that we got put in our own seperate instances, as others have mentioned, but why was I still getting chat messages from them if this was the case? Needs sorting. This is my first attempt at a dungeon and I must say it’s put me off trying again.

Info below might help u guys fix the problem .

Personal solution : let the team leader enter the dungeon first , and the rest member follow , if the pop-up come out with 1 option like Story Mode / Explo Mode , then its fine . if come out with 2 option : Story Mode and Explo Mode , cancel the pop-up , back off , and re-enter . this " might " solve the issue .

hotw story mode, two people (none of whom were ‘saved’ or anything like that) couldn’t get in to our fresh story group.

then the second last boss bugged out and we couldn’t even complete the instance.
this is REALLY annoying.
