We have a problem. (I wanted to put Houston in place of your name) My guild, Melandrus Only Hope [Hope] glitched the other day, and it basically looks like all of us were disbanded from the guild, except for two of my officers, who were left in the shell of the guild, with the name, default emblem, no tag, and no upgrades. Now, they can’t do anything with the guild, and it reminds me of the couple days when parties were glitching like tons and our guild did the same thing then.

We need help! We had quite a few collectors editions and time built into the guild, and starting from scratch isn’t really feasible.

Weirdest thing.

I just got kicked from all three guilds that I represent simultaneously for no apparent reason. I was completely cut off from guild chat, or viewing anything in the guild interface. When I logged out and logged back in, it was fine though.

My friend and guildmate just had this problem tonight. At first we thought it was just my computer acting up – I was dropped from our party and then guild. I logged back in and everything was fine, and then a few moments later it happened again. So I restarted, thinking it was a network issue. Came back, everything was fine again. Awhile later (probably 20 minutes), the same thing happened to my friend. She was dropped from our party and guild. She restarted and we remade our group. Then about 30 minutes after that, I was dropped again and we decided to call it for the night. It was starting to be a hassle having to restart our game all the time. Thanks in advance for looking into this.

The aforementioned bug was also affecting whispers. When my guildmate was experiencing this issue, I got the error message “The player you are trying to whisper is not online.”, even though we were standing next to each other, communicating via /say.

Can we get a clarification on how guild attendance works? The wiki has 2 supposed mechanisms (both I think are wrong, attempts to explain the same underlying murky system).

I’ve done some testing, using both a 7 player guild of friends, a 2 player guild of just 2 accounts I own, and some observations on a large 400+ player guild. There’s only one thing I’m almost certain of:

Each character from each account can, at most, contribute one attendance check to one guild in one 24 hour period (or possibly until the daily reset).

However, the above rule seems inconsistently applied. “Attendance” only seems to be checked at login, and its random. I can log in one character, check guild, and see +10 pts, immediately log out. Log in another character, get no points, then actually play that character for a while and never see an attendance check credit. I’ve done a lot of little experiments like this and the whole system seems to either not be working or if it is, is poorly designed.

I have a guild Tricycle (Tri) on Server Flussufer (Riverside). My account has 9 characters. All characters log in every day. On average I gain 50 points, but since last week it is only 40 points. Since September 1, I can check the Logs in the guild menu and up to today I did not get 3,250 influence points alone from this “Log In” problem alone.
I cannot recompute the lost influence points in Events, because I lost track on how many events I have taken part. Therefore I cannot say, if there is a loss on influence points there too. I think it is possible, but I cannot prove it.

I have no clue, why the points are given or not given. Maximum has been one day at 6 characters about Halloween. Most often it is the first 4 or 5 who get the points, but this is not always true. Some are given in a map and a second character on the same map receives nothing.

Strange issue

Randomly i’m being dropped from my guild, cannot chat or use guild at all, when i open the guild interface there is no guild there…

When i log out it tells me i have no connection to the server, if i close the game and relog in i’m fine guild works again for a period until it dies again…

Has happened 3 times today (14 Nov 2012)

Getting the following code when trying to invite new members to my guild (Code=3016:1002:3:5300:101)
Also, getting that same error when whispering my friend that I’m trying to invite to my guild.
Cant send mail either, it tells us “Unable to find recipient”
I have double checked and triple checked the name, and other guild members are getting the same problems when trying to invite, send mail to, or whisper our friend. He has restarted the game 3 times now.

I have the same problem when trying to invite a friend. I get Network error Code=3016:1002:3:5300:101.

Yeah, this is exactly how it looks for the two of my guildies who still see the guild. Can’t do anything with it though.

I just deposited some Gems into my bank and lost all of them. I drug them to the Guild Bank I own and they disappeared immediately. I thought I would have to scroll for them or something but no I checked my inventory, rechecked my bank incase for some reason they could not be deposited into my GB but went into my bank. Not the case…

I am going to make a ticket as well but I have no clue what is going on. Im trying to relog and check now but I am a little worried and concerned to deposit now. This is happening after the update only as I have 6 items deposited before it.

EDIT: Relog had 1/4 of the gems show up, though now it says no gold deposited…

as stated previously, my guild is also bugged

I dropped three bags of holding 15 slots in my guild bank only one showed up. The other two weren’t in the history they just vanished.

Mine and my Husbands Guild is not obtaining guild points with every event we do. This has been going on for about a day now..

Issue: Members intermittently dropped from the guild. On the member side the guild panel shows them a not in a guild, no guild chat, etc. Relogging sometimes helps for the rest of the session, other times the problem comes back within minutes. Have not tried checking the active guild roster when a member is “dropped.” Guild roster shows a number of guild members as location “unknown”.

Same issues as the people above, it looks as if our guild was disbanded, members can only see themselves in the guild roster. No influence, no bank, no upgrades… guild chat cannot be seen by anyone but the player who typed the message. This issue is devastating our guild, it has been up for multiple days and we cannot communicate with our players to tell them that our guild has not been disbanded. We also cannot see if anyone has left our guild. Please ANet, we have invested countless hours into building our guild and if this continues for much longer, we could fall apart.

Please get this fixed soon or atleast give us a response to update us on the issue and assure us it is being investigated.

Our guild Kwisatz Haderach [KH] of Crystal Desert has been having this problem for 4 DAYS now. NO GUILD FUNCTIONALITY OF ANY KIND. This needs to be fixed immeadiately. You simply cannot play GUILD wars without your GUILD. Its not fun, we cant plan events, or form WvW groups. Every day we can’t run we cant recruit, or use influence or gain influence. Members are asking if we have disbanded. or are leaving anyway to play with guilds with working interfaces….every day this persists it hurts my guild.

Earlier I tried to speed up the +15% Karma buff in the build queue. The 1250 hard-earned influence was spent, but the timer did not advance. Later, someone else in guild purchased the 1000 influence commendation, and nothing happened.

Now we’re afraid to spend any influence or purchase any influence in the future! Our buffs will be falling off soon as well.

Update: the reduced build time activation just took effect, and the 1000 influence by the guild mate just appeared on our history feed, and the 1000 karma was deposited into our total. I’m not sure if an employee took care of this, or if there was just a huge delay.

Multiple guild leaders bug still not fixes even after big patch. You can promote someone to leader without a confirmation window so a mistake is made very easy.

After someone having with leader rank the normal leader cant demote him or do anything against him, this can causes a lot of problems in the guild and ruining the whole game.

Lucky i made a mistake with my friend and not someone new that i dont trust or know.

I deposited 29 gold in the guild stash, and it appeared and disappeared in there for a while (it wasn’t the other guild leaders withdrawing it), and eventually one of them was able to withdraw it (approx. 10 mins later). He then deposited it again, and it started appearing and disappearing again. None of us were able to withdraw it and it eventually just disappeared. I contacted support to get them to help and they did nothing at all. Can I ever expect my money back?

I can’t see or type in guild chat.

I can see the roster, have the guild buffs and everything else but no chat. I have tried switching characters, standing down and representing again, rebooting the client, switching to another guild (which chat didn’t work in either) and switching back. Still no chat.

EDIT – Being kicked from the guild and re-invited seems to have sorted the issue.

I can’t invite people to my guild, it throws this error, There are only three of us total and the guild License SAYS 50 people.

Problem: I was fooling around with ranks and made another rank with the same privileges as Guild Leader, and as I soon as I switched myself to that role it bugged. I can’t change the ranks of others, edit ranks, or anything related to that. I can still activate upgrades though.

I switched worlds so I could get the 100% Map Completion. Great got it! Problem is now I cannot access anything in my guild it like resettled everything. It shows I started it 3 months ago but my guild influence is now at a whole 38. Which is completely wrong I had guild bank armorer contract guild emblem. I had ecto and money in my bank among other items. I switched to alts and they were not moved from lions arch and still cannot access anything. I did submit a ticket in case anyone is wondering…Please Help!

Edit: did some events and influence goes up but still nothing. No upgrades no nothing. No longer playing right now…seems kinda pointless when you aren’t earning anything for your hard work.

The guild perks are server specific, to include upgrades and influence. When you transfer back to your original server, all your stuff will be there.

Problem: Influence gain

Before that ‘Lost Shore’ patch you got 100 Influence for dungeon completion with one of your representing guildies. I’ve run dozens of dungeongroups with my guild and we only got 10 Influence per completion, which is way off.
Every dungeon I completed with a member was considered a solo run and earned us 10 Influence. Every other activity (e.g. PvP, Events) still earns the correct amount of Influence (Events = 20 Influence; Won PvP Match = 50) if done in party consisting of 2 people representing the guild. Any activity, but dungeons.

I mean I get what you are saying and if that was the case I would just play an ALT for a little while then work on my main guy… Like I previously stated this sucks and feels like doing hard work for nothing….unless when I go back I will have the influence transfer..but even that’s sounded like a no.

It should be like that. Any Character going to another world would have to accumulate and spend influence starting from scratch. Any character left behind should be able to use the achievements accumulated so far. If this is not the case, it is a bug.

For me influence gaining on Login alone nets me a maximum of 5 characters login (except one day on Halloween that gave me 6), while I had 9 characters until recently and 12 now. All represent the guild and all login daily.
So far I lost 3,900 points on logins alone.
Influence on events doesn’t come fast, so I guess I might have lost some there too. But this numbers cannot be computed yet.

It is not the case. 1. My character that switched yes starts from scratch I am fine with that…..well now I am. 2. My characters that HAVE NOT switched DO NOT get to use the guild bank anymore. 3. I have no clue why and I have submitted a ticket to ANet for help. 4. Once again I realize if I switched I should start over new world got it. I want to know now why my ALTs can no longer access bank and other upgrades, and when I switch back in like 4-5 days then what? Will it be this way? Start over all again?

Because a server move isn’t character based. It’s account based. So when you move ‘a character’ to another server, you’re moving all of them.

No, you should return to the guild achievements you have done.
And as the other player said, a switch should be an account switch. I forgot that when I made my previous post. You select it on the character panel and not for a particular character.

I cannot invite new members, I get “you have reached the maximum number of guild memberships” as stated earlier in the thread.

My Guild has a problem: We’ve maxed our membership space (50 ppl) and The Guild Registrar wont let us upgrade our Guild License (says we don’t have enough members). Please help us fix this, we have many people wanting to join us.
