Similar to other users, I am the Guild Leader, however I can’t edit or save permissions (I’ve just created this guild). Please advise!

Temporary fix(?) For those of you who have problems using your guild functions. (Editing ranks, queuing/speeding up upgrades/productions, etc.)

For me at least I can’t access guild functions in highly populated regions, such as Lion Arch and Divinity’s Reach. Try going to a less populated region. I can access guild functions in most 60+ regions, as well as The Black Citadel.

After upgrading guild to get 50 slot bank; it no longer allows me or my friend(2 man guild) to upgrade anything else. We have plenty of influence it still works right just can’t upgrade anything.

The Guild Armorer Contract and Research Architecture problems in my previous post are both fixed now, but I can’t use the Guild Armorer. It says my rank doesn’t allow displaying the guild emblem even though I am guild leader and have all rank options enabled.

I’m the leader of my guild, and I cannot change nor have permission to do anything, including admin lower ranks, queue upgrades, promote/demote players, edit message of the day, claim in WvW, etc.

I am not able to edit ranks and daily message.

I can click the edit button, make changes, but when I save it changes does not take effect.

I am not the creator of the guild, but was ranked up to leader.

PS! has similar bugs with other buttons, like the buy button and mouse-over in the trading post.

When attempting to join a second guild with any of my characters, even after standing down from the current guild, I always get the error message:

“Network error .

Please check your Internet connection and try again. (Code=3040:1002:3:1930:101) "

I don’t know what the problem is, but it’s clearly not my network connection, since I’m actively playing when I get this message.

Yesterday I bought the guild promoter drinks for 20 silver a total of 5 times for a total of 500 influence. I gained 0 influence. I tested by buying drinks for 2 silver – again 0 influence. I tried again this morning with 2 silver – no influence. I also tried the guild promoter in Lions Arch – he seems to work fine, and you get the influence you pay for.

If the guild promoter in Divinity’s reach can’t hold his liquor, and gets too drunk to grant influence, I suggest the option to buying him tea instead.

Several issues with guild related options:
- Upgrades have been paid for with influence, and so it is logged in the upgrades history. The actual upgrade however is not being build.
- Guild armorer contract is not active, message states..your guild does not have that upgrade…which it obviously has.
- Guildbank is almost never available for use, message is either your guild has no bank..or you are not in a guild.
- Same as above for guild Registrar

Primary Problem: Can’t purchase upgrades, can’t promote members, can’t set message of the day, can’t edit permissions.
Secondary Problem: Tome of Influence used by myself, 0 Influence gained.

Any status update as to what is causing this? As somebody mentioned earlier, I too hope that you are not fixing these problems one guild at a time…

How many more reports do you need with missing permission to rise priority of this bug? It make guilds totally useless, you can only use the guild chat. And it’s not being fixed for 2 weeks now

Im sure they are aware of the issue and they must be working on it, but at least you have a guild and a chat, my guild is still missing in another dimension

i cannot aces my guild stash. it said when i click on it your guild hasten build any sort of storage yet
but my guild has because i accessed it about 3day ago and others in the guild can access it at the moment

This is in Divinity’s Reach, I can access it from Lion’s Arch alright, on either character.

It’s cool that you’re working on fixing the missing guilds, but is there any news/progress on the guild permissions bugs that players are getting?

I’m the guild leader and I can’t access the guild bank. I’m just told that the guild hasn’t build any sort of storage yet, which we HAVE.

Also I’m unable to queue and upgrades, so the guild is stuck without the ability to start new research.

Began research on guild politics level 2, saw it in the progress bar.
Checked on it later in the day and it had disappeared, though it was still recorded in the guild history and the influence was still gone.

Since I started the guild I’ve been the only person in it, and I’ve now gained enough influence by myself to get the guild emblem upgrade. The upgrade is finished building, but the Guild Registrar does not display any option of creating an Emblem (and as I’ve understood, he is the NPC that takes care of such).

In addition, he claims I do not have the “invite” permission in the guild. Obviously, as the guild leader and seeing that I’ve tried it on several accounts, I do have that permission.

I bought 1.5G worth of 100 influence items, got 0 influence. Yes I was representing it.

Is there a way we can get our cash back, or at least all the influence?

For 6 days we’ve been getting no influence after doing events over and over.
Before that, the influence we got was 10 or so per event and dropped to 2.

This is a small time guild, just me and some friends of mine, which, when created, had the rank permissions empty. If this is as intended, it’s a shame, because I can’t do anything with my influence, at this point, or upgrade the guild in any way. I can’t promote anyone within the guild, I can’t kick people from it, and nobody but myself can invite anyone to it. I can’t even change the permissions within guild interface. Any help would be much appreciated, thank you.

Exactly the same as above : I am leader, but I only have “Edit ranks” ticked. So no upgrades, no promotes, no kicks. I can just invite people, and create ranks. That’s it.

Issue 1: We cannot use the guild bank although we got the upgrade, it states that we don’t have one.

Issue 2: Our queue for upgrades disappeared. At the time we were upgrading Economy 2.

Issue 3: I gained a plus 400 influence scroll from a story mission and used it, but it did not add 400 influence to our guild although I was representing the guild at the time.

Suggested Solution: I hope you can either give me back the scroll and re-queue the upgrade or give me back the 1000 influence points that I have used, along with the 400 influence scroll. The guild bank is a great convenience, so please fix that as well. There should be a message to warn players to not upgrade for guilds due to bugs and to not use their scrolls or tomes yet if it is also bugged.

Created a new guild (after leaving my first one) and I now cannot do anything in the guild. I cannot invite players, set the MOTD, edit ranks…

I am also not earning IP for my guild.

Permission changing is bugged, I cannot change any permissions, buy upgrades or anything, all I can do is gain influence and invite people, and my only permission is Edit ranks!

Myself and members of my Guild have been unable to claim points in WvW for our guild.

I have full permission with my guild but recieve the message from the Guild Claiming Character
“Your Guild has not given you permission to do this”

as guild leader and founder of guild i have no rights at all except inviting ppl. i can not order upgrades or promote ppl. before i founded this guild i was in another, and it seems my rights from that guild has been transfered over to my guild so i cant really do anything except enjoying my influence grow. plz fix

I started this guild about mid week, having the same problems as several other people. I am unable to change any guild permissions/ranks. Therefore cant edit ranks, use influence, update guild message, etc. I can create new ranks, but I cant check any of the boxes. I seem to be able to invite people, but I have only invited one person so far, as I cant use my guild for anything. I am the guild leader/creator.

I had an upgrade queued yesterday (Research Architecture level 1) which has now taken the influence but we have not received the upgrade. I also can’t queue any new upgrades. Ontop of this, we don’t appear to be able to gain influence like other people have posted.

Just created the guild about 2 hours ago, cracking my brains and wondering if the guild system was bugged, and viola, I find a 20 page thread.

Primary issues:
- I can’t promote/demote my guild members, many greyed out permissions when I want to edit the permissions each rank has access to.
- Occassionally, I will not be able to create new ranks, saving that new rank is not possible.
- Occassionally the guild tag disappears for a while.
- Unable to create guild message of the day.

So far the guild’s influence is working, for now.

npc keeps saying the guild does not have a guild vault,
yet the upgrade can be found in the guild window.

Also started a new upgrade. politics 1.
but i dont see the progress in the build queu.
The influence for the upgrade has been paid.

this is probably the case for others but rarely are anyone able to access ANY guild upgrades or set up upgrades in Lion’s Arch.. move zones and all is fine. Yesterday I reported a lost 24s on influence drinks that did nothing.. come to think that was in Lion’s Arch also. I wonder if most of the issues being reported are only happening in Lion’s Arch.

Problem: I am an officer in my guild and really it is just a buddy and I in it. But when he is away and influence gets up there I try to upgrade and it won’t allow me to. I click the add button and nothing happens don’t get a validation and never goes into the que. I do have permission to spend the Influence points that is not the issue.

Made the guild from the guild panel (didn’t use any npc).

The “leader” rank only has the permission to edit ranks checked and I can’t change that.
I’m the only member (and leader) and the only thing I managed to do was delete one rank and rename 2 others (without being able to change their permissions) . I can’t queue upgrades (grey button even with enough influence), I can’t even edit the message of the day.

Also spent 4 silver on guild influence at the Lion’s Arch promoter and didn’t get any so that doesn’t work either.

Moving to other towns, areas, dungeons and “stand down/represent” doesn’t change anything for me.

I created the guild a few days ago and I am having the issue of all permissions being greyed out for me as well as the other members and we have tried multiple things to see if we could get it to work properly. I see that a lot of people are having this issue. Is there an idea on the time frame for this to be fixed? We really do not want to start over as we are working towards getting our influence up to purchase upgrades and already over 6oo with just 3 of us currently in the guild. IRL friends.
