The new culling setup has turned Orr PVE Dynamic Events into an unplayable mess for me.

I just recently came back with a new level 80 to start farming Orr and was totally taken aback by how unplayable the new culling changes have made it.

Before the change I never had any issues with large zergs at DE’s in Orr. Other than some minor frame rate drop, there were no issues.

Now when I approach a DE with a large zerg, all I see from a distance is a few particle effects, but when I get up on the spot, I see a few mobs, zig zagging around like crazy and zero players. I assume the mobs are getting knocked around by players I can’t see yet. I had several DE’s were I never did see a single player before the DE ended and the zerg dispersed. In fact I have yet to see any players materilize after waiting some time. It seems to be an either or situation. Either I see the players from the start, or I never see them at all.

I have a pretty average 2 year old system, so it is no slouch and I never had culling issues before in PVE. (I don’t WvW)

Please Arenanet set PVE back to the way it was.

I am having similar issues. And it honestly only started happening within the last few patches. I will have no issues seeing mobs but even if theres only 2 other players right next to me sometimes I cant see them. Now that is an extreme instance but sometimes its worse and sometimes its better.

I would support trying to figure out one thread where we can post our issues with culling in pve.
