yeah it looks like a display/retrieval issue than loss of anything. Aside from the SMAA options just not being present.

The Fashion Forward achievement and purchased finishers have also been reset.

Loading of the character select screen agains takes forever, also ingame often there
are short loading lags or whatever.

Character Screen however looks great now

Does SMAA need to be ativated in the drop down menu? Are there problems like not running in SLi or Windowed? Or is it something which goes undetected and just runs in the background??

That it’s missing from the UI is a bug. Hope to correct that soon. Then you’ll be able to select it from the drop down. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I trust you’re working on it, I’ll see my 13 old toons repaired ASAP, back woith my completely unlocked S2 completely finished S2 (including every last achievement) and will do some dungeons on newer ones.. But one of those newer toons is really really looking forwar to her new backpack skin… How could you have forgotten to include it?

When it’s all done I’ll check it on your new SMAA and hope for some improvement on texture/colors/rendering/speed…

same here, and cant play scarlet war, and clear today daily progress

Mesmer:
-Sword 4 (off-hand block) doesn’t spawn a clone with a scepter equipped as main hand
-Duelist Discipline: No additional bleeds for the duelist when traited, works fine as far as cd reduction and bleed for the mesmer itself is involved.

I dont have trait and i cant change every time still reset, no more mail carrier raven and griffon only on this pg, problem with inventory i cant compact after salvage or remove some item

It seems that all my minis are gone, too – aside from the newly acquired dragon.

Same here … I “lost” all silverwastes and drytop achievements too, and the lumineshent collection as consequence … I achieve those during the first release … I don’t wont to"buy" them! I’m in since the first day of gw2 release! I hope it’s just a temporary bug like the skill and specialization bug …. this is a buggy day! ;_;

If you turn the new Light Adaptation feature off and then relog or change map it’ll still stay on even tho you turned it off.
Please fix, it makes the game way too bright :/

Well the Trait panel shows it’s been been reset but in reality nothing was reset. Only seems to affect my ranger…

Traits appear reset but nothing was actually removed nor was anything refunded on older characters. Younger characters are not affected.

I originally thought that my older characters were the ones that were broken, and while that is true to an extent, one of my characters that is 735 days old is fine, while another that is 734 days old is broken.

It seems like the breakage may be related to the completion of episodes of Living World Season 2. The characters that haven’t touched Season 1 or were only on the first episode are fine.

pls dont become as blizzard company, that do 1 patch per 6 month and that patch totaly broke the game, have loose it all too

Hello, we were helping to our guildmate in Victory or Death personal story just now and as we progressed to the first airplane the turrets were unusable, attached the screenshot. Yesterday the problem haven’t existed yet.

The following has been reset in the hero menu:

- Training
- Story Journal (all LS2 story achievements)
- The Silverwastes
- Dry Top
- Basic Collections
- Rare Collections
- Fashion Forward
- Troll’s Revenge

You cannot swap specialisations without repurchasing them with hero points.

I have access to all my skills, but the Training panel still allows me to repurchase them.

Edit: This has only happened with my Mesmer and Elementalist.

The following things have been wiped from my account.

All of the Common Collections
All of the Rare Collections
The “Fashion Forward” Achievement
All of The Silverwastes Achievements
All of the Dry Top Achievements

All of my PVP Reward Tracks have also been wiped and deleted from my account.
All of my progression in Trait and Utility lines has also been wiped.
My access to all of the Living Story Season 2 episodes has also been wiped

I have lost my HoM rewards also! And my progress with pvp track, archievements, minipets, etc, etc….

I’ve talked with Ela Makkay with a character who hasnt finished his personal story yet.
I’ve got the reward for “Season 1 History Lesson” but now I am unable to go back to my personal story and im stuck in Living World Season 2.

Just to make it seem more important..somehow…all my traits and skills and hero points are gone and i can’t get it back cause of the no refund thing as well…plz fix…

I thought you guys said the dude working on resetting the GWAMM reset wanted everything to be perfect, this is far from perfect and in fact a straight nightmare. all my progress is reset, including my actual earned gw1 rewards.

Well, "wanting" not always mean "getting". Despite they being very thorough things can go wrong, even more in a system with this dimension. If this mess happened with them being cautious, what would happen if it was done in hurry? *shivers*

Same for one of my characters. Training reset, Living world season 2 is locked, collections reset.

My brother and I both have AMD cards and since the patch installed we are hitting straight 100% usage on GPU, higher temps and fan speeds are through the roof. Wasn’t doing it before the patch installed.

Bombs radius remains unchanged, and its impossible to hit people with bombs because of it.I thought that would get preffered over a range increase on the rifle.

The game randomly crashes when accessing the map or going from one area to another. Even crashed after I created a new character and transitioned to the opening cinematic.

The mouse cursor disappears seemingly randomly when I click. I’ve tried reinstalling mouse drivers and that doesn’t help either. Also tried redownloading the game and that did nothing as well.

I also have the trait issues that people have been reporting. Not on all my characters, but on some.

Also some achievement categories are reset, such as Silverwastes and Drytop.

Mail carriers are missing.

Some finishers are missing. I seem to have the finishers I had before I pre-purchased HOT, but am missing any I had after.

I thought my account wasn’t very affected at first, but now that I look deeper into it, it is an absolute mess.

Achievements reset in the collections, Silverwaste and Drytop’s are gone as well as pvp rewards, living story season 2, the Training tab in the hero window appears to reset. And even lost my Mail carriers, some finishers and Dailies progress. And only a few of my characters have this bug, all the others are ok i think.

If no one answered. Your Scrolls of Knowledge were turned into Spirit Shards. Check your wallet to see your amount.

But then i created a new character to go pvp, and boum i lost 800+- AP…

Another thing is that i can’t connect to the account page on the website because the authentificator doesn’t work. I changed it today for the dragon!

Under the Hero Panel in Training it shows as if I need to retrain all my skills, however, they are all unlocked for me to use on my skill bar. Also, it is saying I need to repurchase season 2 though I have already unlocked everything. All Story Journal achievements are showing as not done, as well as all the collections achievements I have finished along with Drytop and Silverwastes achievements, however, the total achievement points seem to be right.

EDIT: Troll’s Revenge JP achievement also reset for me.

An older bug…

When your charater stands still for a longer period of time, emotes are not shown for you. (but for other players)
They only appear as chat message for you.

Same for skills. Skill is shown, but not the animation and movement from your character.

The only problem I’ve seemed to have is the random fall damage bug. I was running down a ramp in Divinity’s Reach when I just instantly died. However that’s the only problem I’ve had and everything else seems fine on my account.

I since the patch have some crazy graphic issue with ambient occlusion. I have added screens of ‘with’ and ‘without’. No one else I spoke to seems to have this problem. It might have to do with the fact that I play mac, though I wouldn’t know how. Thank you.

My living story is also locked on some characters.. Ironically the main character I was playing it on is now locked.

Apart from the usual, this patch introduced some random graphical lag for me.
FPS drops to 15 for some seconds, and then back to its usual value. Very noticable in wvw (with no aparent reason, almost empty map).

Also – I’ve finished the Claw Island PS five minutes ago and now I have “Battle of Claw Island [complete]” in my hud and nothing is happening…

trait and skill deleted and unlockable, the build tree was resetted too, and now i cant change back because i cant unlock again the skills and traits and if i try this is doesent work

Same here, all of Season 2 is locked for me even though I unlocked them and played thru them as they were released.

Just an update to my post above. To test something, since Dailies also look as if they reset, I went to Metrica to do some foraging even though I completed Dailies last night, and when I did my foraging, it did not update the daily achievement, so the game is acting as if it knows the achievements were actually completed, which also seems backed up by the fact that the achievement point count is correct.

Were the Hero points suppose to be reset during this update or is it a bug?

Not that it’s that big of a deal considering we can just reassign the points but just curious.

EDIT: nm it is a bug. I can’t reassign the points.

2nd Edit: All fixed. And pretty good turn around time imo.

• a lot of achievements appear reset/locked, though the AP are still there
• daily achievements are not registred as completed in the UI, but can stil be earned
• skills/traits appear locked in hero panel but can be used

what is rather odd xd

What I see here, hear in the game from my guild mates and see on my own characters is that what is missing is very random. Some players are missing a lot of achievements, others do not miss anything. It also looks like it is for the most cosmetic, there isn’t really anything missing, it only shows that way.

The only thing that seems consistent for me is that only on the character that finished the 3rd daily the dailies do not show. Even on my character that did 4 events in Bloodtide Coast that daily is still showing. My Necro did the other two achievements and finished Behemoth as 3rd one. See doesn’t see any dailies.

I wait with playing GW2 until tomorrow morning (CEST) and see what ArenaNet has fixed in the next 12 hours

My little list:

1) All skills/specializations have been reset to 0; no hero points returned

2) All living stories in Story journal are locked (I had them all unlocked). Personal story seems to be OK.

3) Unlocked and completed achievements are now locked, but total achievement points were not affected.

Achievements affected:
*All story Journal
*Daily (completed last night)
*The Silverwastes
*Dry Top
*Some Explorer, but not all, seems to be the newer ones (ex: Lion’s Arch Exterminator has been reset, but I have Princess; older achievements like Orr explorer and Grounded are still marked completed)
*Fashion
*Jumping Puzzle > only Troll’s Revenge, which I have completed, the rest are OK
*ALL Basic and Rare collections have been reset and/or locked

Exactly like people above. Traits and skills lost and can’t unlock them again. Can use the skills I’m already specced in and all the skills are available but can’t change specialization trees.
Lost some achievements and all collections. The lost achievements seems to be Dry Top, The Silverwastes and all Story Journal.

+1 over here, lost season 2 and skill / traits training. Havent checked for other achievements..
