Guild Wars 2

So basically I started a Slyvari character and when I spoke with mender aviala, the game basically ended the progression. It just has the line that I spoke to her cut through her quest, but no progression to the next part of the quest at all. Whats up with that?

Same here…. its broken! Its the Sylvari “Awakening” (Lvl 10) Speak to Mender Aviala Personal Storyline.

Can’t progress any farther & yes I completed 7 hearts that were all circled by the NPC before this one on the Caledon map. No instance or cutscene activates, I don’t believe I received any mail messages in relation to this storyline either.

I used a tome of knowledge (instant lvl 20) before doing the personal storyline if that makes any difference? Perhaps something didn’t trigger that was supposed to at a certain lvl? HELP!

I did the same thing, I dont know if its having used the tome of knowledge first or because of the story itself.

Having the exact same problem, made a new character to see if that would fix it but still the same issue occurs . Hopefully will be fixed soon as dying to play that story.

Yep, have the same issue. I completed the whole zone thinking that was part of it but it’s still stuck. It looks like it’s time to quit this game again…after a 1 year hiatus.

I also have this same issue . i really need to my personal story started and its not letting me ….

Problem is still there, i’ve tried to repeat the quest but i cant finish it, it won’t let me pick that troll salve

I’m having the same issue. There’s an “invisible wall” in front of the troll salve. I can’t get to it. Any word from devs as to when this might be fixed?

this is amazing, one year later and no one fix this problem, gime me my money back!

any new people posting in this thread: you are having a completely different issue than the original post. the original issue was with the NPC Mender Aviala, who you talk to before the troll salve instance. the original issue was fixed, and as far as I know, hasn’t been an issue since.
