90% of the time I try to access the trade post, I have to restart my game client because it does not work. This has the be the most frustrating thing.

Same, about 35% of the time I have to logout and back in.

Yeah, I’m leaning towards the Trade Post is just bugged for everyone (Windows included) a lot of the time. Would be nice if they gave us a way to try to re-authenticate (or whatever is the issue that causes the TP to not load) without having to quit and restart.

The TP after the last TA patch started to not work for me consistently. Always giving a loading circle that spins forever beefore stopping to show a blank page. Logging out and back in, HAS NOT worked either. Sometimes a rare chance of perhaps 20% the TP will be working. this is frustrating and i’ve been able to do nothing much in game aside from pestering friends to do transactions for me and sending them the amount of gold necessary etc. this has got to be fixed. the TP hasn’t been very good in general at all, and will bug out before too, the design needs to be fixed

I’m running into the same problem as some of you. The Trading Post almost never works and buying Gems (even if I wanted to) is out of the question (I get a blank page). Hopefully it’s a technical thing that gets solved soon.

Yeah. Really annoying. But luckily thats pretty much the only problem I’m experiencing in Mac Beta.

In overall game runs surprisingly well.

Try to delete the cache. The cache you can found here:

/Users/<username>/Library/Application Support/Guild Wars 2/p_drive/User/Local Settings/Temporary Internet Files
Change <username> with your user name.

The “Library” folder is hidden since 10.7. So you cannot browse to it with the finder.

Use instead: Open menu in finder, “go to…” >> “go to folder…”, then insert the path in the open window.

You should see a folder named “Content.IE5”. Delete this folder and restart Guild Wars. After that TP should be working.

Sometimes it doesn’t help after the first try. Close GW2, check if all instances of GW2 are closed (with activity monitor), delete the cache again, and restart GW2.

I sent a ticket to support about this and was essentially told “you don’t meet min requirements, it’s your fault not ours, we refuse to listen, go away” and then I see all these threads magically appear with people having the same problem, I say magically because evidently the issue is all my fault and these threads are a figment of my imagination.

Note: I even linked them to tons of these threads, still my fault…yup.

I experienced similar problems for a while trying to load the TP in Lion’s Arch. I noticed, though, that I don’t have the same problems when accessing the TP from other zones. So now, I have my alt that I use for most of my trading parked in The Grove and I use TP there. After doing this for about 2 weeks now, I’ve had no problems with the TP.

Yes its completely bugged. The Mac version is getting buggier at every update.

Same here. I have to reload at least twice/day that I play. Today I’ve reloaded four times so far hoping for access to sell to be reestablished. It also prevents me from accessing the gem store.

Thanks for bringing that up, I’ve had several restarts in the last hour, with no effect on my access to TP.. but both characters are in LA. I went to a less populated zone to access the TP after yet another restart, and only the Gem store loaded, the buying/selling frames simply displayed the “working” circle for several minutes.

Seems like a common issue for the past few months…seeing threads dating back to January…
