I’ve been struggling with this issue for good 2 weeks or more. Everytime I try to download a game there appears the “Download failed! Please check your internet connection and try again” error.
This has to be my PC-side error, because my roommate downloaded it and plays it. I tried to copy the game files from him but then I get the following error: “Connection error(s) detected. Retrying”. Please share all advice you cant think of. I do not use AVG. I tried to reset internet socks and turned firewall off. Disabled all AV software. Nothing helps. Here’s Game Advisor file.

This is odd, but Game Advisor didn’t complete traces to all the IP addresses that it usually does. Something is definitely not right here.

You’re running a lot of software in the background, some of which could be interfering with your connection. I distinctly remember one person claiming that GoogleUpdater messed up his connection. You have GoogleUpdater running too.
I’d definitely recommend that you clean your system from all the unnecessary software, but first you can try this workaround to see if deactivating start-up will change anything.
