Today the same issue.

I was IN game and around 6.30-6.40 PM EET the game started to massively lag, in then it disconnected me and at the next try I got the same error as yesterday.

So, could someone at ArenaNet try to find out what happens at that hour please? Is there an automatically back up occurring or maybe something happens with your internet connection? Switches to another ISP? Router?

Please help us.

I’m also having the same problem. It happened to me before and I had to wait from 30 minutes to an hour until it somehow fixed itself. I tried flushing the DNS cache but it didn’t work.

There are constant disconnects and troubles logging in during peak hours; it’s getting ridiculous and for someone working 8-5 it’s not really possible to go online during calmer periods (which has to be the dumbest suggestion yet).

Hours when switching maps is like playing a bad lottery:
Every weekday between 20:00 CET and 22:30 CET
Weekends from 18:00 CET and onwards.

In the nordic countries problem seems to be related to the repeated all-out DDOS-attacks on the main ISP in the region, TeliaSonera — all of their DNS useless. Does ANET/NCSOFT have alternatives to ncsoft-ic-306349-ffm-b11.c.telia.net? Is this what we’re having for xmas or will there be a solution provided from ANET/NCSOFT.

I have this for a while now and is VERY irritating especially since i can play only during evenings. Lag is insane. In a guild raid in wvw, my guild claimed a tower, went to another and i was still fighting the lord. Can’t do anything because of the crashes and then as someone mentioned before, i cannot login anymore. Do i need to start knitting or you can fix this for us?

Tonight I couldn’t even log in, the game is getting un-playable. Previously (in the past 2 weeks at least) I only had problems during the nights, after 6 pm CET. Usually the game threw me off in every 10 mins, even though before that I was online for 2 hrs straight, on full maps.
This really forces me to play another game, even though I’d like to play with the new content.

Don’t know what’s going on but I think something in the patch is doing this, my friend got me this game awhile ago. after suffering the very slow dl speed of it and trying to log in I get the same thing everyone is getting. so my question does anyone have a idea to fix this? Live in NA region by the way.

Seriously guys! Almost 2 weeks have passed since the problem was first reported and still no news? It’s really frustrating to get home after a hard days work and not being able to connect to the server to play.

Can we get some official reply on this please?

How hard can it be to see what happens to your servers around 18.30 European time? I can play with no issue around that time but at 18.30 (like clockwork) everything goes to pieces.

Same thing here, at 18.30 i’m receiving dc . It happens to me since last patch. At the moment i can’t even log in to client but as you can see i can sign into the forum.

Same trouble, most hard is to change WvW Borderland (if Eternal BL is fine then Home BL and other cannot log-in).

Yes, exactly the same for me – got dc/d all the time, not being able to log on after, then for a few days everything was just fine, I thought Anet fixed the problem. Me, happy ! This morning I was playing for an hour or two, everything fine.
I just tried to log on / 18.20h / I can not, keeps getting the same error.This is just so frustrating .Sunday evening we do guild missions, we do guild raids, dungeon runs. Everyone is playing mostly in the evening. I can not.
Why would someone make a game, sell it and then just not care about the people who bought it ? I mean, is that normal nowdays ?
