I clic a skill and my character stacks on the cast position; when I’m in Edge of the Mists, I see my whole zerg teleporting left and right and I can’t follow ‘em. On a more critical level, the game itself crashes after about 5 – 8 minutes of freeze. This usually happens at about 07:30 pm UTC+1 ; few times during the day.

UPDATE: it’s 07:20 pm UTC +1 and lag spikes start…

i got on back afther 5min no proplem but seim my friend got lag spike and dc and it pin 1h seim kitten when i get dc he get on and no proplem and when i dc he as no proplem and seim ting with other guilds

had insane lagg, 20sec delays on skills, then it dced me now i cant loggin anymore.

tryed restarting client and waited 20mins or so dosnt work

What is happening: Chat is not working, everything activates on 10+ seconds delay and disconnecting constantly.
1. The lag happens everywhere.
2. The lag usually lasts longer than my patience and I log off after an hour or so.
3. I experienced lag on 4 out of 5 sessions.
4. I usually experience my lag spikes at evening and at night.
5. Probably before first feature pack.
6. Haven’t had any lag in Guild Wars 1 when i have played it reasently.
7. I live in EU.
8. I play on EU servers.
9. Account created in EU.

High lag, rubberband etc. has occurred several times the last 3 weeks.
no packet loss when pinging the server IP.
Tried forwarding the necessary ports.
Tried the “clientport 80, /clientport 80”.
Non of this resolved the issue.
Have rune speedtests etc. and no issue was spotted.

play from Sweden and this bin going on ever since u started up Living Story again, constant Lag-Spikes, Crashes in WvW,sPvP then you cant login for 20-30min.

Shouldnt this be your MAIN priority NOT more PvE content ?

I have the same problems since 2.12 patch. It was working fine before the patch.

Today every guild member reported serious lags, including me. I did Tequatl and farmed Silverwastes. Tequatl had 3 major lags of about 5-10 seconds where I thought I would disconnect, but it continued. Silverwastes had more lags (I didn’t count) and I was disconnected once after a especially long lag.
Because of the unstable game we decided not to start any LW instance, dungeon or fractal but to simply hang around in Silverwastes in our guild.

Interesting thing is, there cannot be much network distance between me and the european datacenter. We are almost neighbors. I live virtually and (almost) literally next door. I may even pass the data center every morning on my way to work, since I work in Frankfurt.

Been checking the pathpings on this forum and one in general common jump were packet losses starts is at the last jump from Telia to ncsoft. Usualy around 80-90% loss and after that it is 100% loss at ncsofts side. Feels like the problem is at the ncsofts servers.

Problem: I’ve been having problems with chat delays and lags usually from 5 p.m. on. I get a few d/c’s, until I can’t log in at all, doesn’t matter where I am. Restarting the computer or router doesn’t change anything.
Since the latest Hotfix these problems occur from 8 p.m. Still can’t log in anymore for around 30 min. now.
Been able to log in, but I got 10-20 seconds delays.

There goes my forum virginity, but seriously you should do something about all this lags. It affects only EU prime time.
Romania, 18:00-23:30 (GMT +2), Desolation – lags, disconnects every few minutes, stuck on login screen, game loses connection and restarts, unable to login into the game. This goes on for the entire prime time.

I got the same problem as everyone else.

This started in the beginning of primetime (20:20 GMT+1) and I’ve now been trying to restart the computer, restart router and computer, started Battlefield 4 without any lag at all, my ping on teampseak is fine.

I did /ip in-game and I assumed that the WvW-servers are located in Spain so I did a (1) pingtest and it showed up normal and I also did a (2) speedtest towards Madrid, Spain aswell.

Basically same as others.
From Sweden, playing on Desolation.
Playing during prime-time has been quite impossible the last week or so.
Disconnects, 10-20 second lagg spikes, stuck during login, stuck on loading screen, etc.

No connectivity issues at all with any other games or applications.

Lag is still continuing, even WTFast isn’t completely fixing anymore. It always starts up during EU primetime. And tonight, I had the fun experience of DCs being added into the mix as well! It’s really fun fighting a boss during the breach, it being nearly dead, I DC and upon relogging getting stuck in a new map that’s only just started on progress towards the breach.

Too many people are experiencing problems. This can’t be all of our ISPs.

So I can play OK now (was lagging earlier in the evening as usual), no lag no d/c but for fun I did pathping -4 -q 100 and results are… <drums>… ~same like when Im lagging and d/c O_O
8 hops with ~0% packets lots then two with ~100% and last one with ~0% again with all measured times at worse 32ms

GW 2 is unplayable. Disconnects every 2 – 5 minutes, extrem lags by char interaction, jsut guildchat is working on time.

Decided to put GW2 away, what a shame after playinf since prerelease. This makes no fun at all anymore

I’m getting tired of this bs. This thing is unplayable. No word from Anet as usual, just “we’re looking into that”. The’ve been looking into that for more than a month now?

Lag issues for the last month now. Always starts around 5pm i live in austria so i guess its prime time for people to log on, when i press a skill the skill will flash and then it will happen about 6 -12 seconds later after a freeze.

i hope Anet can sort something out as its rather annoying, i do not have many problems throughout the day, more so only in the evenings.

please help us anet we all just wanna play the game you made so well..

Issue: Login server is down (currently going on an hour at the time of this post). This, along with periods of major lag and dc’s, has been going on since the Echoes of the Past release.

I’ve noticed that i can play on certain maps without any lag, while there is unplayable lag on the other maps. If i manage to log in that is.

WvW commander here. So 40+ people following me after reset are commanderless beacuse i have some kittenty lagg. Thanks anet.

Well the last Dev response to this thread was a month ago and still this problem exists.

The problem with lags began a little over two weeks ago. Every day the same thing about 6PM you can not play a big lag and dc. My ISP is good, in any other online game you can play without lag pings are small. The problem concerns only GW. Please do something about it. How do I make a new story, pick up objects in the collection since I can not even log in, or have lags from space??

5 crashes tonight again… still NOT a single kittening word from Anet.. just re-installed swTor never tought Id do that.

Horrible lag started in WvW during a big fight. After about 30 sec, everything went fast forwards, players running around quickly and then it stalled again. After 3 minutes of players running on the spot, I got disconnected. Nobody else in TeamSpeak didn’t seem to have a problem.
After reconnecting I was still lagging in Lion’s Arch. Pressed every skill I had, all of them were blinking, nothing resolved. For some odd reason, guild chat was still working. After around 4 minutes, everything fast forwarded again, lots of map chat instantly appeared and every skill I pressed suddenly activated.

The issue seems to have gone away while typing this message. I’m positive this is not a problem on my end. Every other online service works completely fine. Might be something to do with the ISP, something happening with one of the routes. I don’t know what it is but compared to the other time, the whole duration was shorter.
As before, I’ll edit this post if it returns during this session.

Had two 30 second lag spikes as if no data came through. Everyone kept running in the direction they were facing, enemies running straight past. Then after 30 seconds, fast forward, the battle that happened during the spike was played out in about two seconds. During that time TeamSpeak was working fine. Very odd.

An update on this. The team is actively working towards a solution for the lag issue many of you have experienced. They have already tried a few potential fixes that did not yield the expected results and are continuing to root out potential causes.
Suffice to say, they aren’t ignoring this problem.

Getting a lot of lag every 2 minutes as well. On NA server – Jade Quarry. Everything else about my internet is fine. Web pages and videos load very fast and no problem.

Its the same story everyday. Huge skillags , delay in the pre- and prime time, unplayable srsly fix this.
