Still can’t log-in! C’mon ANet, any idea as to how much longer this is going to go on for?

Ok, I successfully logged in but the server was very laggy (nothing to do with my router or anything). So i logged out and then I have the same issue (error 42:1020:9001:4105 or 03 it depends).

ATTENTION:
I seem to have found a way to go around the issue:
I switched the language to Spanish (my wife has problems with english, thus making spanish easier as it is closer to portuguese); it loads in, then i click the word “Jugar” = play, inside the game i’m able to switch back to english and i’m good to go.

Even if you don’t know any other language you can probably switch back to your language by sense of the options/buttons/functions.

Hope it helps till they fix it, see you in-game.

logged in fine about 7am this morning for half hour but now i’m home from work and have time to play no luck.

I have this error, its rather annoying.

Im on an EU server.

My PC is in the routers DMZ.

I was able to connect earlier today from work though, behind a university firewall lol.

I can log in… well after about 10 error messages first but now cannot access tp, and my email shows in the guild instead of my account name, so probably all linked.

have been trying to log in for 4 hours now… frustrating…

Login Error: Portal returned error: invalid_request — l_c.rb 94 (fangamer:-1). This is only the second part of the error message I just got when trying to login here on the forums. The first part basically consisted of the same paramters the launcher is giving me. 42:0:9001:4103 or 4105. Login from Germany on Underworld (EU).

I just tried login with german language just for fun and it actually worked (in Launcher)

I can confirm that this works! Weird, but it works!

I can log in, my boyfriend can’t.
We’re both on Underworld server (EU)
His Error Code: 42:0:9001:4105
Our Location: UK, Manchester area
This is the only game we can play together at the moment so this is just depressing.

I just got in. I tried what someone else mentioned.

Changed language (to spanish in my case). It logged in fine. I logged back out then back in again with English and it worked.

I can Login without Problems now, tried a few times.

Tough Luck, i just bought GW2 and i was able to log in and play a little, then after dinner i get this login error

A bit strange, but i was trying for hours now, nothing worked. Then i simply tried to retype my PW and im in now. I guess it’s just random…. but I wantet to share it, maybe it work’s for someone too.

CHANGING TO SPANISH WORKED FOR ME… KEEP YOU UPTO DATE INSIDE

Not able to login to my Gandara or Blackgate account, and the forum is going painfully slow too, not sure if the server problem is related or just people F5ing for a fix :s

I´ve been able to login 3 times after the “problems” started. Two of them after posting here and the third time was after deleting local.dat, and that trick only worked once. So far about week of gaming only problems I´ve had, were the nro 7 dissconnection errors and today started this. I hope you guys get things sorted, love the game! Off to sleep I guess..

Switching languages didn’t help me

guys i have solved the problem by deleting the file local.dat in Users\username\Documents and setting\Guild Wars 2.. and game seems to be fine.

…time to read a whole novel … finally again …

I just changed launcher language and then the launcher restarts and started downloading files. I changed back language to default without waiting download files to finish and now I can login!?

Edit:
I just tried the ‘change launcher language’ trick. I changed the language to ‘German’ then chose to automatically restart launcher. After it came back up and started to download the German language files I clicked the login and then immediately changed language to ‘English’ and restarted the launcher again. And that seems to have done the trick, it let me log in.

So, might be worth a shot to try if you’re still stuck.

Yep it works! I changed back to English under settings once I logged in! It will have to do till anet fixes the login issue…Thank you
