zoning out of fractals (jade maw) to Mistlock observatory ip .160 gave me this error.

I get the same error code everytime I try to join a pvp match in heart of the mists.

This keeps happening when I try to teleport into Queensdale. It crashes the client. The game also takes the teleportation cost, even though it dumps me back at where I was, previous to the teleport, upon logging back in. This really hurts the playability of the game, as teleporting anywhere is going to be a constant risk of the loss of gold, as well as a client crash.

What did you guys do to the servers that caused this? Tried to enter Metrica Province from Caledon Forest, network error, crash. It seems like this issue is never ending.

I first got this when I tried to go from Hoelbrak to Southsun Cove, on both of my accounts. Now, I can get my newer account to load Southsun, but my first one still can’t load it.

just get kicked from 38 Fractals. It was fine with 49.

Had the issue trying to load Foefire in the structured PVP map. Once it kicked me back out I was fine.

I’m having this problem trying to get to Sparkfly Fen too.

I’m having disconnect problems too (5:11:3:159:101). It happens when enter the load screen for me story quest “What the Eye Beholds”. Thanks

Had this issue when trying to enter personal story in Salma District in Divinity’s Reach. Happened several times before I figured it wasn’t on my end.

Constant disconnects in the Silverwastes tonight. Very frustrating!

I am having the same issue except in lions arch, im unable to play on any character but my necro because he is the only character that isnt in lions arch

I’ll drop in a comment here too. This issue doesn’t seem to be restricted to particular place from my personal experience. I couldn’t go to my favorite daily Kryta forager place with my ele a couple days ago because of this code 5 error. My Ranger can’t get into LA because of this error, etc. And of course I am able to immediately log back into the game, so its not on my end. I have guild missions tonight and in my free time I am currently doing map completion with my Ranger, so I’ll get to see how many more times I encounter this problem.

But for the meantime, it seems like Mordremoth has gained a new power to boot you off the game sometimes whenever you travel to a map that your not currently in.

Having this problem right now but only with Lions Arch (so far). Also the connectivity has been kinda shoddy since last night. Random high ping during story instances.

My friend is having this issue as well but he is just starting Guild Wars2 today and hasnt made a character. He was able to download the client and all its updates, but when he clicks the giant red “PLAY” button it shows up this error a few seconds later.

I can’t log into any characters in Lion’s Arch—keep on getting network error message. Other places seem fine.

Having this issue with Foefire.

Now it’s happening with Metrica Province.. SAME SERVER IP AS BEFORE: 10.28.74.160

I can’t stress enough how much this particular server on ANet’s internal private network needs to be assessed.

I keep getting the error in the Grove trying to enter After The Storm as well

This also happened to me four separate instances today. When trying to enter a map as well as when I was already in one. This network error kicked me in the middle of fighting Teq.

7 times for me today, after it crashes completely and I log back in it puts me at some random location in the zone I was in before trying to waypoint but then it lets me go to the destination of my choice – as long as it doesn’t crash me again.
Having problems with southsun cove at the moment, it refuses to let me in no matter the waypoint when I tried to get in from Frostgorge Sound, from Wayfarer Foothills I was able to get in.

This error comes very often in schedule boss event today.
I used many wp fee for trying and still cannot take the bosses

The network error is still being experienced on all of my characters when entering a PvP match from the Heart of the Mists, when entering Ascalonian Catacombs, and when attempting to leave Plains of Ashford.

Hi, just to add my voice here I experience this crash when starting the Brute Force story mission.

I suspect that the issue is related to high map population. I’ve been disconnected several times trying to reach world bosses, but I can reach these zones at the time of this post. I’ll try to recount them precisely.

-Disconnected while trying to log into my Ranger in Lion’s Arch 2 times. Was able to log in on 3rd attempt. (time of day unknown)
-Disconnected while trying to go to Sparkfly Fen a few minutes before Tequatl world boss spawn.
-Able to connect to Sparkfly Fen when Tequatl is long dead (about 1:00 AM PDT, /ip=64.25.33.84:0)
-Disconnected while trying to go to Southsun Cove a few minutes before Karka Queen world boss spawn.
-Able to connect to Southsun Cove when Karka Queen is long dead (about 1:00 AM PDT, /ip=64.25.33.67:0)
-Disconnected while trying to go to Mount Maelstrom when Golem Mark II is supposed to spawn (about 1:00 AM PDT)
-Able to connect to Mount Maelstrom at Old Sledge Site Waypoint at 1:13 AM PDT, /ip=64.25.33.48:0. The Golem Mark II world boss was just defeated, and most players have left the zone. Screenshot attached of me checking this.

Stuck in Frostgorge Sound. The nearest waypoint is Earthshake waypoint.

can’t log my toon in frostgorge sound and im also getting the same error code…other toons seem, fine, any solution?

Got done with Honor of the Waves story mode.. then I hit exit dungeon button.. and it said it was loading on map IP 10.28.74.160 .. which is not a normal IP for GW2.. if you go by the 64.25.33/8.xx standards..

Same problem: Network Error. (Code=5:11:3:159:101). Experienced this so far with Mount Maelstrom and Frostgorge Sound.

Guys keep reporting this in game, more reports quicker response it gets !

If your character is stuck in Frostgorge Sound like mine, then log into an alternate character (even if its level 1)

Add Frost Gorge Sound on Sanctum of Rall to the list, can not log in at all.

Umm. I have a problem “Network Error. The inabilty to connect to GW2 may be caused by internet router issues or a network server failure” . When this happened I tried to connect with a different toon and it worked, so I went back to the original toon that had this problem and it’s still there. I’ve been trying to get in with that toon for 30 mins. Is there any way I can fix this problem? Thank YOU

Just had this happen to me about an hour ago, a bit after Jormag. The “transfer to more populated server” request appeared, I clicked yes and the game gave me the 5:11:3:159:101 error and kicked me out. I can log onto other characters in other maps no problem, just not with my mesmer in Frostgorge Sound.

Well I will be back in a while, hope it gets fixed i wanted to play tonight…..

I have all my “goodies” on the character stuck. So I don’t see me playing at least until next Tuesday at this rate (whatever their patch day is.. maybe its thursdays now? .. I lost track)

A lot of people can’t get on their characters in Frostgorge Sound.. need an ANet rep to confirm they are looking into it..

yea. it seem can’t enter frostgorge sound atm. i tried five time. game client will auto restart. other map in the shiverpeak area seem ok.

Have you guys tried guesting other servers? That usually helps if there’s one particular megaserver of a map that’s stuck.

Trying to get a friend to see if they can even get on map, then join their party then try to load on that character that is stuck and hopefully load into their map they are on..

They can’t get into the map atm either, and guesting isn’t helping.
