Guild Wars 2

Twice now on logging in the options in the General Options page have been reset to defaults. Started after the second update of the day.

Specifically all the options in the User Interface, Camera and Combat/Movement sections. Not sure about the rest as I keep those on default anyway.

Doesn’t happen every login, can’t figure out the trigger for it yet.

Please fix this. It’s getting very irritating to change the mousespeed and every other setting upon every log in.

Yep this is pretty pathetic. I have a pretty bad memory so having to change everything back every login is annoying

Did you try right-click and ‘Run as Administrator’ for GW2?

You’re clearly aware of the anger Anet are generating by largely ignoring these forums and only posting stuff on Reddit.

You claim this is because the devs aren’t mandated to post so they can choose.

However YOU have an official position on these forums so YOU have no such excuse.

In which case please explain how you justify your doing the same thing?

Still bugged. Whatever you devs did to mess this up, revert it please.

Deleting local.dat and set everything new from default fixed it for me.

Maybe that’s the issue – I don’t have one ;O

LOCAL.DAT contains much else apart from this, deleting it means losing info that can be helpful.

Just didn’t know where to look at first x)

And for what it’s worth, deleting the local.dat didn’t work for me…

Same here.

Deleted local.dat, even redownloaded the full game.

Didn’t help. Very anoying. Probably enough to keep logins to 1nce per day and just not play. Having to redo all the options every single time after login/disconnect is not fun.
