Options Resetting To Default After Patch
Logged in here to say that this is happening to me, too.
Same here. it resets for me after EVERY login.
Same for me as well, what a pain.
Same. Fix it, annoying as HELL.
+1 Having the same issue.
No bro, that ain’t me. I ain’t about that life.
Please fix this. It’s getting very irritating to change the mousespeed and every other setting upon every log in.
Yep this is pretty pathetic. I have a pretty bad memory so having to change everything back every login is annoying
Did you try right-click and ‘Run as Administrator’ for GW2?
And as usual. ANet respond on their official support forum but not here:
And what infuriates me is that GAILE posted on Reddit but not here!!!!!
I sent this PM to Gaile, wonder if I’ll even get a reply:
You’re clearly aware of the anger Anet are generating by largely ignoring these forums and only posting stuff on Reddit.
You claim this is because the devs aren’t mandated to post so they can choose.
However YOU have an official position on these forums so YOU have no such excuse.
In which case please explain how you justify your doing the same thing?

Same here

Another thread here about this problem: https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/support/bugs/Options-reset-every-time-I-log-in
Still bugged. Whatever you devs did to mess this up, revert it please.
Deleting local.dat and set everything new from default fixed it for me.
Best MMOs are the ones that never make it. Therefore Stargate Online wins.
Deleting local.dat and set everything new from default fixed it for me.
Maybe that’s the issue – I don’t have one ;O
LOCAL.DAT contains much else apart from this, deleting it means losing info that can be helpful.
Ans still not Anet post on here, only on their new official forums on Reddit.

You do, everyone does.
In Windows look in C:\Users\<yourloginname>\AppData\Roaming\Guild Wars 2

Just didn’t know where to look at first x)
And for what it’s worth, deleting the local.dat didn’t work for me…

Same here.
Deleted local.dat, even redownloaded the full game.
Didn’t help. Very anoying. Probably enough to keep logins to 1nce per day and just not play. Having to redo all the options every single time after login/disconnect is not fun.
