I’m in the top 10% of the gw2 population. From what it seems the banning doesn’t seem to have a pattern.
I’ll tell you one thing if I am rolled back to more than 1 hour from when I was kicked I will very unhappy.

Me neither. And no information is available on their Facebook page either. In fact, they keep deleting any post that has anything to do with this. So it is obvious that someone is aware of this and that they do NOT want it getting out publicly.
I have no idea why any company would do that.

I am being patient and all. But I am still a very unhappy customer. I want an explanation. I lost a lot of play time and had a dungeon interrupted of which I do a two part series each night. While it may not seem like a big deal it actually is. Its part of a daily grind that contributes to my next legendary. So [insert] explanation here Arenanet.

Yea, an explanation would be nice. But I don’t know if we will ever get one. I do, because I would like to try and prevent this from happening again.

Same thing happened to me. I just recently started playing… the lack of moderator reply despite a merged thread is not a good first impression of a company.

While performing the bans, we made a mistake and additionally banned some unrelated accounts. We identified the mistake and unbanned those accounts.
For those still banned, if you wish to appeal, you may submit a support ticket and the team will examine your case.
What exploit are you talking about? If I wish to appeal???? I haven’t exploited anything. I want my account back. I put over 2,000 hours into that account pure grind no exploit.

I am still banned, I submitted a ticket but appeal to what exactly? All the interactions I have are between my guildies and me who I have been playing with for a while now. Please review and check all the logs of my account and you’ll see.
