I’m only posting this on behalf of my friend, he cannot log-in to the forum since the hacker changed his e-mail/ account name.

At 9/6/2012, he got a notification from ArenaNet that someone changed his e-mail address, so he cannot log in to the game or to the forum. He is waiting for more then 72 hours already.

I have reported his character so at least to have the account locked
until he gets it back.

My friends account got hacked. The hacker changed his e-mailadress.
After he submitted a ticket it took several days to get a reply (by Lance)
suggesting to go to the recovery page to reset his password.

This doesn’t work since he has no acces to his account since his e-mailadress
has been changed.

He mentioned this in the update of his ticket and is still awaiting answer.
It’s been several days now

Someone please help him and please could someone understand the issue (and not just reset password) please?

Does anyone know what happens if you got an automated reply that closed your ticket, but didn’t actually address your issue so you re-opened it? Do you move back to the bottom of the queue?

I am still waiting on response to my random disocnnection last night, I posted my ticket here:

I have not received reply yet, I am not sure it has even been submitted properly as all I have seen is an automated reply that has nothing to do with my issue, and even still I changed my email and password like the reply suggested, just for the heck of it.

I would like to know if a) I have even submitted a ticket correctly for my type of issue, which is very vague, or b) How long is the expected wait time on ticket issues?

So you guys fixed me being banned for no reason but immediatly after that I was still unable to login because it showed a new error message saying “We Have detected that your account may have been accessed by unauthorized individual. For you security, further access to the account has been suspended until this matter can be resolved. To restore access to this account, please contact our Support and one of our representative will assist you”

I’ve been trying to contact you guys for awhile just to get my account reactivated. I log on each night after work to check if I can finally play just to see other people who posted there issues get fixed within 24 hours.

Because I was unsure if the tickets should be joined since the first one was resolved but turned into something else I made two tickets

I’ve been hacked again for the 2nd time. Please fix this immediately!

I was hacked on 9/4 and finally got my account back on 9/9. Immediately upon getting my account back I changed my email to a brand new email, setup a 32 character ASCII password and validated the new email address.

Today, 9/10 at 3:02 PM PST, I recieved an email that my email had changed… What’s going on ArenaNet? I never received the email with an option to deny the email change…. PLEASE look into this urgently and dont make me wait another 5 days!

My account was broken into and the hacker stole my stuff. One day later my account was permanently banned. When I try to login now i get an error saying that my account has been suspended for security reasons because they believe an unauthorized individual tried to gain acces to my account.

This happend like a week ago and I’m still offline.
Another problem is that i can’t seem to find my serial code in my mailbox

My husband account got hacked, the email got changed. Last known time that he actually log in was around 2.30am EST, when the maintenance was about to happen. (from what he tells me)

Got an email saying, Someone -hopefully you!- has requested to change the email address associated with your Guild Wars account.

Now his email is no longer an existing account, should he re-create his account or wait it out?
