Well, I went to reset my support account’s password as well before I noticed that the service is down. On 08-31-12 I sent a support ticket for my account being hacked and the email changed, on 09-03-12 I was given my account back, but I have since had a ban on the account. I replied back to the ticket which stated I had my account back but asking to have the ban lifted, I sent a prioritized ticket asking for this to be fixed seeing as my first support ticket never actually was fixed. I of course in anger sent multiple messages through my support ticket asking why I was given my account back yet the ban was never taken off, wanting my money back and so forth its now the 6th and I still haven’t had a response back I understand its a busy time but its been 7 days since I’ve been able to use my account which I paid for and its a bit unsettling. All I want is to play the game I paid for.

I can’t log into my account due to someone from China in Yuri trying to log into it and I need to authenticate access.
The reason I am making a new topic and not posting this in the Email Authentication thread already made is because it seems like everyone in that threads problem is NOT receiving the authentication e-mail. I HAVE received the e-mail, I click the link and I am taken to the web-page to authenticate access, this is where my problem lies: if I click deny access I am taken to a Failure page. It’s been like this for 3 days now so I have even tried the allow access (doubt that Chinese person will try my account again after 3 days of no access) but that goes to the same Failure page.
What makes this even more weird is my friend just had to do the same thing to authenticate access to her account so I could post this, the allow access button worked for her.
If it helps at all the anti-virus software I have running is: AVG-free version. I’ve tried the links with this disabled.
I have tried this on my PC and laptop, on Google Chrome and Internet Explorer (64-bit).
I have submitted a support ticket on this problem: 120903-007175. And I must say your support team is POOR. It has been 3 days and I have had no response. Please get your act together. I am hoping posting this problem on forums will speed up my problem seeing as your support team appears to be doing nothing.

My main account was hacked on Tuesday, fortunately I have a second account in my household, which is what i’m using to type this message.
I raised a ticket immediately, but I have received nothing from Areananet other than the automated response.
This is ridiculous, the hackers changed the email address on the account, so I can not log in to it at all.
I understand that I’m not the only person in need of support here, but these hacking incidents happen a lot after the first week or two of a new game, you guys should have been prepared for it and have the process and staff in place to meet the demand.

I’ve had the exact same problem except I’ve been down since last wednesday. Just saying it could be worse, I guess.
I planned on playing during the one day headstart as I had free time that day but due to a misunderstanding I only got my headstart key on the Monday. Two days before that I had received my retail copy of the game and had created an account with that information, which is the account I am posting on. After I gained my headstart code I was unable to activate it on this account so i ended up creating a new account and opening a support ticket to question if anything could be done to remedy the issue.
I currently have a disabled headstart account with a level 34 on it which I would love to continue to play but I can’t because of this problem. I did receive a ticket reply which simply told me to continue playing by switching to the other account, but completely avoided the fact that I wished to continue playing on my currently existing character. I have only played in this account to try out another class to see if I liked them and don’t care in the slightest if I lose them.
Would it be possible to have the key on the account I am on revoked and let me apply it to the headstart one instead or any other way around it?

I acted like a fool by participating in an inappropriate group chat (map channel) and crossed the line.
I understand I should be punished for my actions and accept that but I feel a permaban is a bit extreme.
I did not participate in racism, sexism, religious or political discussions nor attack anyone personally.
From what I read from the staff on here, it’s extremely hard to get a permaban for chat offenses so I am wondering why I got a permaban instead of a temporary ban.
I really hope you can shed more light on this.
It saddens me to have to give up on this awesome game over a stupid move (on my behalf) like this.

This is written for my daughter. She have never been able to log into her account. We receive error messages stating her email is not valid or not associated with an account. Initial verification email was *not*received in the account creation process. Her serial code is now considered to be in use.

My friends account got hacked on the 3rd of September and he is still waiting for a reply. The email was changed and he didnt authorize any such thing. So anything the account is being used for is not him, but someone elses doing. Please help him out in getting his account back.

#: 120905-002798A week back i reported that i had about 2g missing in my inventory, thinking it was a glitch but i reported it anyway in-game (so i assume due to all the bugs fixes my report went missing) So today i wanted to play but and error appeared stating that my account has been permanently banned due to gold selling. I sent a ticket. But during that time a friend who was in-game said that my Character was online. So i sent another ticket to the Hacked account category. I didn’t get any emails saying that my account has been logged-in with a different IP so i don’t know how this could have happened. I’m writing this – like many others – on someone else’s behalve.
My brother had the game for 1 day when he aswell couldn’t log in anymore because his email address wasn’t valid anymore – he did get a mail saying his address linked to his GW2-account was changed (oh the irony).
A suggestion maybe: when you or someone else changes the address linked to your account, the mail you get reporting this should mention the new email address, might help solving it on your own.

Hi, please help, Arenanet! I’ve been unable to play since the grace period ended since my serial code went onto this account instead of the correct one.
Account Support asked me for confirmation over 24 hours ago if they could shut down this account and reinstate the correct one or issue a new code for it, I answered yes and I’m still waiting I’m dying to get back to the game, but I’m still stuck waiting :/
