Of course the real question is the HamXJam romance. Will Jamo admit his feelings in public?

What a great first night, lots of small scale fights for camps, plenty of roamers and an epic battle in FoW keep. Cheers all.

Had some awesome fights last night, Aldons just after reset was a blast. Once we got the walls down on green keep EB just seemed to lag up though as all 3 sides poured in there, gave our group chance to steal some more towers though Vabbi even had lead tick at one point!!

… then our zerg got tired of wiping and zoned out, so we lost all of EB – already had most of our BL gone so we ticked virtually nothing for a few hours, and now we’re all behind

Still, looking forward to this week Nice and refreshing after the spawncamp festival that was RoS towards the end.

about that i think that vabbi had a good laugh about wsr when our pugs decided to put 3 rams on a 10% wall i walked over and i was like.. vabbi has a legit reason to make fun of you guys.

That did make me chuckle :p We didn’t see the catapult though so we lost it eventually, rams were the best distraction I guess xD

Nice match-up so far. You guys have a bit more numbers than Vabbi, but we make up for that in skill (Lol) :P

I think today wsr pve was empty, and wvw was full =). Some nice fights wsr. Even though the lag in sm was almost unbearable, the fight in our keep was fun.

All threads need drama, and here at Vabbi we are willing to do our part!

There is a farily new guild on the server, [Zero], who moved from Desolation and began spam recruiting (as you do). They claim to want to make Vabbi a more organised server, which is probably a silly idea in itself as the majority of those who are interesting in winning left a long time ago, never mind the population! Still, commendable intentions nonetheless.

The problem lies in their execution, not acting like new arrivals into an existing (albeit small) community, but acting like a new boss taking over a company. Rather than asking to work with us (which we would potentially be open to), our first experience of them in World vs World was their arrival in a zone with a tag followed by “Why do we have 2 commanders? turn your tags off now or GTFO” (we actually had 3 including them). At this point I raised an objection, that both being bossy is bad and that when you have a large enough force in a zone without many enemies it is actually sensible to split up. The response to my comment… “Who the **** are you?” and “You’re just useless noobs”. (Ironically as he didn’t know our guild tag, when someone said [Imp] did good work at reset, he said “ye guilds here are good but these guys are just noobs”).

We ran into them again a little later, which after we objected to their commander ordering us around (perhaps asking might work?) they informed us that we are trolls, noobs, and “know nothing about wvw”, “Go F*** yourselves and stop insulting people”, “No one talks to a zero commander like that you’re kitten noob” and the best one.. “Just leave the server if you arent going to work with us”.

So there you have it folks, not only is Vabbi now classable as an organised WvW server, but we have people with god complexes and mass internal drama to boot! Soon we shall be tier 1, you have been warned!

I find the Imp/Zero drama quite funny. I’m friends with both sides, and I find it sad that both sides couldn’t come to an agreement. Your on the same server for Christ sake, if you cant stand each other, there is 3 BL’s and an EB, spread away from each other, and behave lol.

On a serious note, Why’s Vabbi getting focused like crazy eh? You guys be trollin’ us eh?
I swear if I go to bed and see a WP in Vabbi thats not meant to be there, I’ll know you guys be trollin’

There’s nothing to come to an agreement over that’s the thing, we are quite happy to co-operate with people if they ask us nicely – e.g “hey could you keep them busy here while we…” (although we aren’t fussed with winning so we aren’t going to be coming to weekly meetings or stuff like that ^^), but we object to people joining a zone and saying “Turn off your tags or GTFO” to other people on the server and then call anyone who disagrees with their methods useless.

As for the second thing in the evening, we had done exactly what you suggested and changed zone to get away from them.. they followed :P

Oh I agree which is probably why me, Hybrid and Jamo troll these larger guilds that want to come to Vabbi and help (ruin) the friendly community that we have, with invalid information, snarky comments, and general hate, example you seen how nasty we got to that person that came from “Piken Square” w/ Hybrid, and the German guild with 400+ players w/ Jamo.

No guild in their right mind wants to come to Vabbi to “help” the server grow, because simply most of us don’t want it to grow or get bigger.

Two reasons why I’m on Vabbi.

• No WvW waiting, No Queues.
• No Overflows

Vabbi is a quite place, yes there is a little drama here from time to time, but is mainly internal and and solved quickly.

We tend to welcome all new guilds on Vabbi and even new ones that transfer here, but no one really knows what goes on inside Vabbi, then when all these new guilds show up and start demanding that we do something wrong, or we’re not doing it right, then we have a problem. I believe there is a term called “elitist” or simply “jerks” will also work.

I’ve did my fair bit for Vabbi, I give the Vabbi WvW players a Team speak 3 server to use, a community website, I tell you no new guild will join Vabbi and demand anything from me or my guild, because I wont stand for it.

We’ve been doing alright for ourselves so far and we don’t need to be told what we do wrong. I think many from Vabbi will also agree that if you do something that works for you, why change? Change only if something new is brought to the table.

Ofcourse, your blue, attacking Red wont earn you the points to stay ahead, but attacking red also means that we’ll attack back, sure EB is open season, but you dont want to have to defend your BL and EB at once from two foes.

As red we’ll mainly attack Green to gain the most points, that changes when Blue takes the lead.

It also works both ways as well, when your BL is Green, the chooooooo chooooooo karma commanders will attack you.

We try and stay separate from the main zerg if we can, mostly in EB but sometimes we go elsewhere, and if our BL isn’t totally red the main zerg normally abandons EB in favor of that anyway (whether they manage it or not is another matter!).

Yeah we got many pve-ers joining in wvw in the weekend. Not too bad but on sunday in my group I was the only lvl 80 :/
But atleast they enjoined it more than they thought they would.

If this was outside North Vabbi Bay, then you should have seen the size of the WSR Blob that was at South Bay.

We only team up when its absolutely necessary, I’m not a fan of groups that size normally. Its one of the reasons I don’t command anymore.

I love the small numbers vabbi has. It makes the WvW more challenging and the community more close.

Yeah it was We were there before you capped, so pulled back and waited – nothing appeared so we went back in… just as i got to the gate everyone swamped out

Lol @ FoW trying to get briar for half an hour. There were only 5-10 guys defending against your, what was it, 40?

FoW & WSR be karma training Vabbi because they chicken to attack each other.

Well, I’ve had fun today, and whilst the day is far from over… the fun probably is. Blob guilds transferring down tiers for easy fights and bringing the skill lag with them. Can’t cast at all in EB right now.

Oh a new guild on FoW, now that’s disappointing.

Now this match up is once again one sided.

“High Tier [HT]” I’m not sure how Fissure talked you into joining, but your name contradicts itself in this current match up.
