A while ago I unlocked The Bifrost Vol. 1 and Nevermore Vol. 1. I used re recipes, then I switched to my character who had a high Artificer level. I leveled Artificer up to 400 and realized that he can’t craft anything from the recipes.

So I wen’t back to my main and checked. He has no level in Artificing but has the recipe in his list.

I was annoyed at the gold and karma I wasted by went to my Artificer character to buy The Bifrost Vol. 1 only to find he can’t even learn it.

Is there anything I can do to get the recipe on the proper character, or should I just give up?

Hi, Arcane Occult is a PvP focused guild. I’m on TC but cross server is fine for sPvP. When HoT comes out it looks like we will get an official GvG.

We use TS, teamwork is key. The connection info is in the guilds Message of the Day. PST – We’re active most days, evening and nights are our most active times. Though there is usually someone on in the afternoon.

As of now 14+ active members & growing daily. Anyone is welcome as long as you’re mature and friendly.

Looks like they were doing a test. The GM said there was a problem with it. Maybe another dev can shed more light on it.

They haven’t updated in a LONG time. Why? What’s wrong with them?

The core is $40. Bundled with the expansion it’s $50, making the expansion $10.

In this case you favour new players only and ignore old members. In my opinion if new players receive free core game, old players should get other type of bonus, example X number of gems.

I’m with you on the only expansion + character slot, but my main reactions to this comment were nervous amusement (if there is such a thing) and extreme curiosity. I wonder if any one person actually has the power to do such a thing. Does such a person play this game? The rational part of my mind says “probably not” but then again… I mean, Machiavell, come on, you’re not connected to one of the Borgias, right?

It looks like a statement of anger. Reasonable anger. Not a reasonable threat.
However if someone has enough resources they could take down an MMO if they really wanted. It wouldn’t be too hard.

They WON’T remove the core game free with expansion. As bad as you think this backlash may be, that would even be worse. It would be removal of a feature, which is probably the one of the worst things you can do in a game. And it’s up for prepurchase, so there’s already money involved.

They’ve made their decision with this. The best they can do is to compensate existing players, no moving backwards.

They can compensate core players with a discount for the core game. What is it now? $40? So anyone who bought the expansion at $50 should be refunded $40 if they already had the core.

You’re forgetting all the new players that bought the core on sale. You’re not scratching the issue.

It doesn’t matter what ANet meant. The players are speaking, and they have time to change it.

If they swiftly put the expansion on sale as a standalone for cheaper than their expansion and core at $50, it would be easy to forgive them.

If we have the core game, we get an extra char slot even for the cheapest expansion selection I hear.

The problem with that is, the core is not worth 1 char slot. It’s worth 5 and a whole game.

They even put it on sale. Before the edit, several times it was on sale after they announced HoT in the making.

It was as if to say, “Hey, we’re making an expansion. You should get the core, we’re being nice and putting it on super cheap.”

They knew that’s what people would think. That is what people thought. Then they betrayed us.

A: Yes. Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns is an expansion to Guild Wars 2 and not a stand-alone campaign, and therefore it requires the base game to play.

I still have a high ping. Not the high spikes of 600+, but really high.

They say the fixed map loading in the new update.
My ping is still really high. So they didn’t fix that.

Mine says 0 but I’m getting serious skill lag.

I can’t play like this either. I even got a G600 MMO mouse last night for sPvP and I have no time to get used to it with this lag.

Why would someone want to DDoS GW2? It would take many people too, why would many people want to?

If I blink, the ping goes up, if I kill something the ping goes up. It seems to be related to doing things.

I have that too. I just thought it was the ping. I’ll blink and keep running, then after I pass the place I tried to blink to, I’ll blink backwards…

I really want to go PvP but I know I’ll just hinder the team.

For 3 days now, the leaderboards for my name at least haven’t been updating at all. I’ve played in many ranked sPvP matches and still have the exact number of wins, losses, and points.

In game it shows the current number.

I’ve played way more than 3 games in the past 3 days.

The fact they released the package deal with this content still being broken is possibly the biggest /facepalm ANet gave themselves.

That’s something where they REALLY need better systems in place to cross reference ideas for selling while comparing issues with that idea imo.

This is something that will always make me think again when buying something from the Gem Store. I’ll either do a search to see if there’s an issue. Or more likely be too lazy to do a search and not buy anything.

This would be a workaround. I don’t really want to spend 10 gold on something I should be able to easily earn.

Maybe add it for next to free if we have all the other achievements. Or just remove the bugged achievement.

I put gems into the LS specifically for the achievements. Not because It’s a good story (It’s not).

I understand that this is very frustrating for someone who bought the Chapters ONLY for the achievements, but again, the achievements alone aren’t what they’re selling even if that’s all you find worth paying for in the LS. Also, the total AP you get from the one mote being bugged is less than 50. You get more AP from the other Achievements in the single chapter so it isn’t really fair to ask for a refund unless they take can away the AP from the Achievements in Meeting the Asura which you have completed.

If you included the total number of AP from ALL the LS Chapters, it far exceeds the 50 you are missing out on from the one mote bug. If by Achievements you weren’t talking about AP then you can ignore my post and sorry for misinterpreting.

No, I bought one chapter. Specifically for the achievements. I had the other three for the lum armor.
