So what you are saying is that you do not believe that some setups are almost impossible to counter.

Atm i play 3 differetn classes that i all like to play. I don’t want to be forced to go with the same setup over and over again. And i don’t think GW2 intended it to be this way aswell. But that’s merely a question about balancing classes out. That issue i do understand, what i don’t is the fact there is no competitive aspect of the game. Yeah you can battle about who can exploit the most, but where is the fun i that ?

Comparing WoW realease with GW2 release is abdundant, they are more than 7 years apart, which means GW2 had 7 years to improve.

Besides GW2 have had a ton of other MMO’s to learn from aswell.

GW2 PvP Have absolutely no achivement. The more time you spend the higher rank / AP ypu earn. Nothing about skill involved here.

So my Highest PvP achivement would be Gladiator in WoW season 7.
That i felt like took some skill atleast

I have Played ALOT of WoW Ranked PvP, and as i said in my tread this is about Competitive PvP. What you are saying cannot be far from true, atleast if you are playing Competitive. In Wow you have Rated battleground where you are rewarded no honor, just Conquest Points if you win the match (Not Guarding Captured Points would be stupid). And Same as with their Arenaes. Mindless Zerging in Random WoW Battle grounds can be referred to as a “Leveling progress”. You do not get the best gear by being an idiot, you get the best gear by earning it.

So you agree that we are playing a BETA stage game, and actually had to pay to help Anet finish developing their game.

Exploits, Poor Balance, No Ranked Systems.

I Bought this game for one reason, and one reason only. Structured PvP. And ohh my god has this been a dissapointment so far. I cannot recommend this game to anyone who wants PvP in a competitive environment. Since this has to be the least competitive MMO i have ever played. No Ranked matches, no duels, not able to inspect other players, basically “hippie” crap. At this point the only thing there is to play for is how your character is looking, and this requires less skills to aquire than Sims 3.

Tournaments are basically just my 5 man group facerolling every setup we meet, since it’s mostly random ppl we play against. Then ofc we meet some lame setups, based on unbalanced classes, some of them are almost impossible to counter. And yeah we try switching classes during game.

One of the cool things about this MMO was that it’s wasn’t subscrition based. This however is now not a very good thing. As the launch period is now concidered over, Anet would have no desire in wasting their money on fixing this game, patches gets out way too rarely, and when they hit nothing is really changed.

The Game / Custumor Expectations = Less than 1.
(seems to be partly in general after reading forums)

Sad thing is that Anet prolly wont be giving their unsatisfied costumers their money back.Probaly also the reason why they didn’t let ppl test their game before buying it like, almost any other MMO today. That ofc, is my own stupidity, getting fooled by the “WE SOLD OUT” situation wasn’t too smart aswell.

My conclusion is, if you want Structered PvP at a competitive level, stay away from this game, and if you decide to try the game anyhow, fell free to give me a call, you can PROBABLY talk me into selling my acc at a DISCOUNT.
