Active, this will probably sound a little silly, but you could always just buy the gems if you want to show your support, and just save them until there is something you really want in there.

Not silly at all. It’s just that I have never seen anything really worth buying in the shop. Like someone above said, I don’t want a backpack, I want a great looking Axe of Eternal Doom combined with a Shield of Bloodshedding Epicness.

I’m a sucker for looks, and I like to scroll trough a shop and buy that one epic looking armor, or weapon glow. Get bored of it within 2 weeks, and buy something new.

About the Box o’ Fun, yes, yes I do this.

The store is just so empty right now… Take PoE as an example (no flaming please, but I have to make a comparison somehow) they realese new items every week in their store. All cosmetics, nothing p2w, and I buy a lot… I mean, really, A LOT.

These guys run a company of 13 or so people with a game in beta, they pull it of, why can’t you arenanet?

I like Guildwars 2, I like it a lot actually. No it’s not perfect, there could be more endgame content, yes. Nonetheless I’m having a blast with it ever since beta.

The only problem I currently have is that I’m sitting on a pretty nice heap of money, and no way to spend it! I really would like to be able to buy stuff from the store. No, I’m not talking about armor and weapons, I loathe pay2win games..
I’m am however talking about armor skins, weapon skins, pets, things that make me look epic.

I’m in a pretty lucky position to be able to throw money at my screen, but it just keeps bouncing back right at me. I also play a few other games like PoE and LoL, and I’m happy to be supporting these companies for the entertainment they give me. It makes me feel good to do something back, and I have a lot to give back, and I don’t think I’m the only one..

Got a small question about dungeon time. As I don’t have a lot of time on my hands I usually just PvP, but lately I’m starting to like the idea of dungeons.
The only thing I’m worried about is I have to leave halfway trough..
I only ran AC once a few days after launch, and it took about 3 hours.. Which is waaaaay to long, so never really bothered after that.

So, my question is; How much time do most dungeons take with an average group of randoms?

Lorewise I’d go with human, though.

Also it would be nice to give your guild another color on the map, and maybe exentd the radius on which you can see players on the map? Sure you can see where the fights are, but it would be nice to have a little more info.

Builds and weapon combo’s/switching weapons the right way are everyting. Learn your profession and skills people, Guardians are not meant to burst other players in 2 seconds (although we can!! be it with the right build..).

And if you don’t like it, maybe this is not the class for you?

Anyway, imo Guardians are fine. If your build is decent and matches your gear/weapons, you will have no problems killing anything. Except for other Guardians which I avoid like the plague… and the occasional mesmer. These two fights will last forever.

So, you basicly wan’t everything removed everyone in any other MMO hoped of ever getting in a future game?

This is actually not a bad idea. Doesn’t have to be ’til the reset, but maybe two days or something?

I’d really like to see an option to see the activity of players in a guild. (and just more guild functionallity in general..)

Being in a big guild (500 members) with a waiting list of people who want to join, but no way of knowing who to kick, I’ts become a real tedious task of asking who was seen last online and using our own forum to make players “sign in” to see who actually is active..

Really loving the game, but for a game called GUILDwars, the guild part atm is pretty non-existant

Thanks, was looking around on these forums and found a few other issues myself. Going to delete this one if there is no answer within a couple of hours, no need to spam 100’s of these treads ;p

Since the last update the game pretty much became unplayable for me.
yesterday I wasn’t having any problem playing on my laptop.

I did a fresh windows Install before installing guildwars at launch, and was able to play on medium with about 30’ish FPS since then. However when updating today I’m barely getting 15 FPS in most area’s.. even after setting everyting to low. I did not change anything on my laptop.

My specs are:
Core i5-2450
Radeon 7670m 2gig
8 gig DDR3
Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit
