I was looking for build to get a good confusion damage, keep my duelist stacking bleeds and still hit with a good numbers, and have survivality.
The problem is you cant have good condition damage with high crit and a lot of power to make a burst from duelist, by not sacrificing survivality. But this build makes a good mix of everything. It has 1,1k condition damage, your phantasm duelist has a 40% crit chance with fury trait to crit and stack bleeds until it reaches about 50-60 % crit with full stacked sigil of minor accuracy. It has 12% increased critical damage. Atack is 2,500 and still having almost 24k hp and 2,3k armor.
I think its perfect balance of condition damage, burst and survivality scepter build.

Yes it works on phantasms, as well as condition damage. Condition duration doesnt work.

First I dont use shattering skills as it kills my phantasm which are doing way more damage. The build has 769 condition damage, and 63% crit chance, and it has max dps you can make using a phantasm builds. Tested for hours. Just one phantasm duelist stacks 7-8 bleeds with 83% crit chance with a fury trait. When they get close I use blurred frenzy to do some burst and evade all atacks, then I follow with decoy most of the time. Stun them swap to staff, cast warlock, chaos storm and chaos armor. They are either dead now or they try to escape.

This looks like a glass cannon build, however it will not do as much damage as other glass cannon builds. Look at my build I have posted in “Post your build thread”. That build is a max dps you can do on phantasm glass cannon builds.

I have also never done this in the WvW, and this is why I asked if this ever happened. Also its good to let people know that this sneaky tactic maybe used in their games or it happened before.

I have reported this in game few times weeks ago. Its also in game bugs forum. After that long no fix time I start to think it works as intended, or if not I hope this post will speed up the fix procces, as it gets really enoying when people are using it in tPvP.

In sPvP when you use it on gates and swap with illusion it does teleport you on the other side of gates most of the time. Just imagine now in WvW a mesmer place a portal for his squad use an invisibility to get on other side of gates and place portal over there. The whole squad teleports inside and destroy everything on the walls. Has anybody ever tried it?.

Keep in mind that with a condition build, I’m fairly sure that anything that increases Condition damage (or things like +Bleed duration, etc) only affect conditions/bleeds that -YOU- apply. I do not believe, regrettably, that Sharper Image bleeds from your Illusions are affected by +duration at all. If someone will refute this with hard data I’d be a very happy Mesmer. Until then, I’ll be avoiding Krait/Centaur/Afflicted runes.

The condition damage increases your phantasm bleed damage overall, however bleed duration doesnt work.

After a very long hours of playing sPvP and long hours of testing a dps, I have found a superb dps build which melts guardians in seconds. However I’m not sure if I should post it here as its going to bring even more complains about the class, or a super quick nerf.

After receiving a private messages from people asking for a link to build, and getting a whispers in game from my opponents that I’m a noob by playing a mesmer and to roll a real class, I have decided to share my build with others to let them suffer even more. Also I’m not playing as much as used to, as I don’t like I’m not getting rewarded system with a better PvP gear. I have named this build “The Mortal”. This is the link:

Basically this is the glass cannon high burst, and condition damage phantasm build. The link will not show you a condition damage stat which is 769. I have decided to fit the condition damage by reducing a little bit of power which is easier countered by toughness. There is nothing better to see this guardians sweating to survive when confusion helps to kill themselves. The high amount of critical chance and condition damage is a very good compensation for reduced power. The trick is to master to survive. I leave the abilities for you to decide what you prefer. However signet of domination is a must for this build. I like the signet of inspiration as it gives you a random passive boost, which helped me survive many times when it blocked that killing blow. I believe it has a hidden power, and I’m aware you are not getting a boon as soon as the combat starts, but after a 10 seconds. Moa nothing to add, only that it has a really long cooldown, and can be easy evaded. This is why you want to use it just after your decoy. See that necro around with loads of minions? just use it on him as it removes all of them and place them all on the cooldown (what a joke). Sometimes I prefer mass invisibility as it can help someone to survive or bring him back to the fight from the ground. I think thats all. If you want to compare this build with other high burst builds, then test your phantasm duelist on the heavy armor golem and watch how many shoots it takes to kill one. Thanks for comment, I have only changed my traits to phantasm healing as I didnt like two swords. For some reason this extra stealth is crucial to my play style. Maybe its a messs but its still working. I went from rabbit to deer today using this build. Check the screenshot from game i just finished.

You are bassicly a mele /range fighter using sword/torch and great sword. Im using 3 times invisibility as its so much funny when you just don’t die at all, and you can start your atack from distance. Stats helps with your survability great as well. The damage output is not so great as you can do as a glass cannon, but it doesn’t change the fact you still kill them and never die. Please give your comments, and I’m always open for tips and improvements. You can whisper me in game.
