Came to ask about the same question, good to see this answer. Although not being the most proficient player and also somewhat of a glass cannon, a ranger with a precision/power/ferocity priority in my stats, I am not too comfortable with asking others to help me complete. I was only killed once in my entire personal story up to this point but this is on a different level….

Creating a pillaging student coat or other pillaging student gear using the hunter’s wool insignia gives no + attributes, unlike the other wool insignia – it is supposed to give +precision and +power.

Just about to post on the same bug myself when this thread popped up. I have to go back to the character select screen to fix. Bug has been noticed for the last week – prior to that I had not been playing for a long time.

you paid for core game … not for updates. Most AAA games released today get 1 bug fix patch and it ends there for everything else you must pay.

At the rate Anet is patching its major bugs it’ll be a year before this game is in good shape.

LOL – unfortunately the test was a complete fail, so no rollout – back to the drawing board.

What an unmitigated disaster this weekend has been. It’s hard to believe that Anet has actually run a decent MOO for years before this screwup.

Same thing here – crash right at the end for me, no chest.

I stupidly went for a mithril node, got left behind, and then swarmed by the spiderlings – waypoint did not work, reboot got me to a completed-event server – tried several times, no luck.

And far more development, support and maintenance issues for Anet. Never gonna happen – just look at WoW, same cartoonish look for several years now. Once the graphics are locked in that’s it.

Hmmm…don’t know why it would be rare since according to the databases it’s only a fine (lowest) level mini.

For more than two weeks I have been trying to find a mini that is listed in all the databases – the mini modniir ice sage – and its never shown up at the TP. Beserker, yes – ice sage, no. Forum and Google searches turned up nothing either. Anyone have one? Beginning to think it was never implemented…

As a ranger (level 72), the only elite that I have found useful is the Hounds of Hell (or whatever it’s called) – although the 2 hounds are only with you for 30 seconds and the elite has a very long cooldown, the mutts can save your bacon in a crunch.

Two weeks after Anet started this “what we’re doing about botting” thread, there’s still no apparent progress—in fact things have gotten much worse.

Did anyone besides myself get a laugh (if a bitter one) out of the big announcement yesterday about all the wonderful things Anet is planning to add to improve game content? Not a peep from them in the announcement about addressing the botting problem, which is quickly making all those additions moot as the game gets more and more unplayable. Anet: put out the fire in the building before you spend resources on adding new rooms!
