I’m not scared of Raids, I just don’t have any desire whatsoever to do them. Also, I don’t think the addition of Raids will attract or keep players interested in the game…just my opinion.

Most of the time, I don’t see anything at all after I fire it off now.

I couldn’t agree more with the op. The Gyros are WAY too slow. Move…wait for gyro to catch up….move….wait for gyro to catch up. That’s not really fun game play.

The Sneak Gyro is very slow to move. I could hardly walk forward without it falling behind.

I don’t think a master of mechanical mayhem would use a staff or a bow. We’ll be getting a hammer soon, so I don’t see the need for a mace either. My vote is for the Gatling Gun that was suggested above…or the Atomic artillery piece.

Like I said A Staff may fit Engineer if they decide to create a Technomaner Elite Specialization for Engineer.

Technomancy is a old type of Sci-fi/Fantasy theme for a Person or Being that uses Technology advanced enough to manipulate things that would fit into the the catagory of Magic or use Magic that can manipulate Technology.

Technomany can be pure scientific in nature, magic based in concept of advancing Magic Technology or manipulating Technology, or simply Technology that can use Magic depending on the genre it is used in.

It is rare to see Technomancy in games or other any Sci-fi or Fantasy series but it isn’t a well known concept in the Sci-fi and Fantasy genre due to not being used much compared to the other themes.

After all when people think Engineer, most people would think Technology but Technomancers are also Engineers since they can create Technology that adapts magic or something that may be mistaken as Magic or use Magic to adapt Technology into their Magic.

The Engineer profession was created by the Charr Iron Legion. The Iron Legion distrust magic and rely on technology alone. I would find it highly unlikely if we see anything that seems like magic or uses magic to adapt technology be introduced to the Engineer profession. But who knows, this is all conjecture. I’m going based off of the lore and what’s been done for Engineer to date.

I’m on Blackgate and I’ve been experiencing lag as well. I live in Dallas, TX. My ISP is fine…50 mb down, 5 mb up, and a 17ms ping when I test my connection to my ISPs server in Austin, TX. EB was unplayable due to my skills not firing off and then I was disconnected.

New Engineer Elite for WvW? We have hand grenades, are experts with demolitions, and can count to 3. This would be a perfect fit.
