I thought it was obvious by now. Jennah is using magic to disguise herself and parade around as Anise like Drax said. The Jennah we see in public events and inside of the palace is an illusion and the real Countess is disguised as Shadow, the weird little cat.
Also, Logan has been disguised this whole time as the giant rock thing so that he and Jennah can always be close to each other. #Tinfoil
While I disapprove of the title I completely support the idea. The armor would be very popular indeed.
I also have this bug and it sucks only being able to get 20 tokens for a fresh run instead of the usual 60 :/
I support this. While I would rather have a “normal” ponytail, this side ponytail is done right and would be nice for the human selection. Norns and Humans already share a couple of non-hair kit exclusive styles so maybe it can be done?
With the upcoming blog post titled “A New Way to Explore the Looks of Guild Wars 2” I’d like to bring attention back to the topic of Anise’s coat. Hopefully there is time for it to be implemented for this new feature patch.
So, this will be deleted like the rest of the discussions on this subject but until that happens it’s important for anyone reading this to know that these horrible, horrible decisions are not A-Net’s fault.
It’s just so tailored and regal, and flawlessly designed. I mean, the vertical lines curving at the waist and extending into the skirt makes the volume seem effortlessly appropriate and conceals any hips. It’s just fashion.
Also I’m dying for that bracelet on the boot.
I’ll gladly add my voice in support of this armor wherever it’ll be heard.
I think it’s relevant to point out how the armor of arguably the most crucial NPCs are available already. All of Destiny’s Edge, most of the “Biconics” and even Scarlet’s Magitech armor is available for the players to wear. It’s a shame that such a unique piece is kept locked away on a minor personal story character.
Off topic: Several NPC town clothes (particularly worn by human female nobles) would be nice additions to the light armor selection as well.
It’s been known since TA assault that Scarlet knows “Caithe’s secret”.
Are we supposed to infer from the final cinematic that Caithe’s secret was knowledge of Mordremoth? Does anyone have thoughts on this?
Gender is not biological, the word you’re looking for is sex, and even then it gets iffy.
Also, and on topic, would you describe a tornado, earthquake, or tidal wave as a he or she?
I think it’s important to note that this armor isn’t the same as Anise’s. So if it were added (like we assumed it would be from the Mesmer trailer) you still wouldn’t be able to perfectly copy Anise. Everyone can be happy.
Both of their faces would be new to our game, as well as the female hairstyle. Even though it looks like an in-game shot of the two, that doesn’t mean the Chinese servers (or ours) will ever see it. There are plenty of wonderful hairstyles and armors that were shown off during pre-launch that are either exclusive to NPCs or were simply never put in game, which is a shame. I still want Anise’s armor…
The voice is obviously [insert your favorite Elder Dragon here].
Can we please turn this into a support thread to have this amazing armor available in game? I fell in love once i previewed and dyed it for myself.
Sincere apology? Umm yeah… that needs to come from the person who actually interfered with the GvG and maybe some of the people responding to him (for good measure). This “sincere apology” is coming from someone who wasn’t even involved and while it’s pretty and all that, it doesn’t mean much aside from him saying “[guild gameplay] is extremely important to us, and an area we are paying a great deal of attention to”. However, those are just words and judging by the actions so far, and the most recent addition of these bloodlust buffs, I’d say they’re hollow words if not outright lies.
It’s random. You don’t have to wait outside the monastery, just jump around the map to ready balloons and hope the champ fight is the one you need. Or wait. It’s up to you.
While reading the amazing new blog post, a question was burning in my mind. If legendary weapons will be getting the option to change their stats, will existing transmuted legendary weapons be getting the same option? Do you think they should?
Personally, I think it’d be fair to give the owners the same option. I’m not sure how it’d be implemented but then again, I don’t pretend to understand code, so I have faith.
Yes, long ponytails would be ideal. It’d be safe to go w/o bangs but some would make the look more appealing (imo).
This is a great idea that I’m happy to res. (Real) Ponytails for everyone please. And if it’s implemented, for the love of the six, don’t make it with crazy bangs please!
WvW is hardly PvP.
Since it isn’t as glaringly obvious as I’d thought, I’ll mention this; just because you see one person make a remark on the forum, it doesn’t mean that reflects the entire opinion of that server. Nor do the actions of one player (or zerg) reflect the actions of all the players (or zergs) on a server. So the comments “AR/BP/EB suck” are not only pretentious but moronic as well.
I just had the strangest bug occur while fighting a DH mesmer. She was attacking me (naturally) and somehow a clone of myself spawned using a mesmer’s scepter auto attack against her. Screenshots to prove I’m not crazy:
8/10 For both. I like the fullness in your Necro’s features and I like the expression on your Thief.

The poi I mentioned is bugged. I went back to get a screenshot of “Dhuum’s Last Stand” and instead, the poi was switching to Village of Wren, so…
I like the idea of it being dopped (via chest or looting since it’s unclear now) from a random boss in a dungeon. If it happened this way, I’d suspect it to be somewhere in the Ascalonian Catacombs.
In Guild Wars 1, we’re told that the gargoyles are often found in The Catacombs; also in the catacombs is a room holding a shrine to Grenth behind necromancer Munne. This room is also filled with, you guessed it, gargoyles.
So we have gargoyles, and necromancy all in one place in GW2: The Catacombs.
edit: not to mention that the catacombs are the final resting place of countless Ascalonians.

I’ll add my own idea. Has anyone explored the “Defeat the Trio of Risen Sea Monsters” event in Malchor’s Leap? The event itself just to the west of Snaketail Inlet, in a circle around the skill point. This event is close to the poi Malchor’s Anguish. This poi is weird because the name changes between that and Dhuum’s Last Stand.
Edit: Well, I just did the event, and while all 3 monsters are large, the chest is only an “Orrian Chest”.

I’m not sure how long ago, just went and saw it’s open. But Whiteside Ridge (EU) is open atm.
