Capes and/or cloaks ...

I think it would be a great addition to the game. It was a major feature in GW1 and the game already has the back function. I for one would love to have a cape, but I would also like to see capes with designs other than the guild logo aswell. It will bring a more personalized and customizable character. Plus guild armor and weapon skins are limited and kinda ugly in my opinion, and the emblem is small and doesn’t really catch the eye. Guild capes or wearable guild banners would be a awesome addition to the game.

I think some variety of dances should be implemented. I for one would like to see more traditional dances for option and also maybe something more group wise like in a tavern a bard can play some songs and all the players in it can start dancing together. I’m sure all the races in game have more dances than just one.

Guild Towns

I like the idea of guild towns. But my concern is why make one… If the town is going to be instanced why bother having your guild spend time and resources on building a town/city with noone to notice it. I Think there should be a system where a guild can claim a predetermined piece of land in the open world and have a guild build a town there. It will be a great way to show off the guild, add content to the world, and possible allow some more variety to the gameplay.

For example if I claimed land for my guild (costly) then they can go out an craft needed mats to upgrade it. But I would like it to be more humble. Maybe start off with a small wooden hall. Then upgrading the town to more, (houses, walls, gates, stores, a inn, etc) I think that would be a great way to entice a guild to work together to make a difference that can be seen by everyone on the server. Maybe even implement a economy system where npc merchants in your town can sell items that players can buy from and a small % goes to the guild bank. Also maybe implement traveling merchants that would stop by your town and sell items that normally you would have to travel half the world to get.

Decorations should be available aswell. Placing banners, flags, anything that displays your guild emblem can be placed on the walls, towers, buildings, gate. Showing pride of the guild to the world. A level of customization should be implemented aswell, not sure exactly how players can customize the building but it should be a feature.

With everything I just said in place it could create many opportunities for guilds to be known, help recruit new players, help the guild come together towards a common goal that they can see grow over time, plus a window to role players to live in this town/city.

I saw yes to mounts.

Given the fact that most content in the game is meant to be explored I understand the fear of content being bypassed because of mount speeds. GW2 Tyria is a beautiful place and should be seen by everyone. But seeing that waypoints can cause a hole in players pockets and most high level areas waypoints are normally contested (point and case CoF gets contested regularly) it causes a difficult time for players to explore/revisit areas.

I am a casual gamer who loves the way my character looks in game. Being that there is a lack of variety in armor skins as of right now there really isn’t much I can do to enhance my looks. I love cosmetics. Having the option to buy a mount that would look amazing and can be customized like buying a horse as a human and being able to go out and farm mats or buy certain mats from the gem store to take to a armor smith and create some armor to place on my horse would be awesome. Having different looks for the same mount would be great. It can be a tool to not just help travel but to bring a new way to represent your character and expand on the social aspect of the game.

I don’t think in anyway should mounts be used in combat or in WvW.

Again mounts would be awesome as a cosmetic tool and maybe a small boost to speed. Like 30% in PvE areas.

I don’t really like the buying part. Then it would be just as boring as mini’s are at this moment. I prefer earning them (with events, quests and so on). Would you also be oke with that?

Yes of course, there could be various ways of attaining them. I’m open to any way they can. Just threw the buying idea to entice players to invest a lil back into the game.
