Thieves can kill people without breaking stealth and channeled skills damage through stealth. You want to fix it? Remove stealth. Everybody happy.
you dont know much do you? ill admit i was wrong about it being a exploit but the second a thief attacks someone stealth is broken.
You do not know much either too. Thief condition damage such as caltrops on dodge and the thief traps does not break stealth.
One of you would need to change server.
Ok just got back from taking long break from the game.
This here is the problem. Many of us who have been playing from HoT launch have learnt how to deal with the Revenant class. You are just going through what most of us already have. This isnt to say some adjustment can not be made to the class.
As mentioned many times when this question or complaint arises, stealth is not an immunity effect when deployed.
Some skills are lock on target when triggered, this means that if locked and fired before stealth then damage will continue during the duration.
Much in the same way our impairing daggers will still hit if triggered before stealth.
You say please don’t ask me to just dodge but unfortunately…… well….. dodge.
Contrary to popular belief, under EU law, your actually not entitled to a refund if you have purchased a product you no longer want.
Having said this, many companies and business will under good will as long as the item is returned in its origional condition and within the time period of their terms an conditions with receipt.

Some of these may have already been sugested, so forgive me if i repeat.
Larger maps. (as I know was mentioned, the ability to siege from one tower to another makes for a too easy game)
Zergs… these need to be dealt with, but the complexity of how is a problematic issue. Here is one idea I have mentioned before in a previous post.
The larger the group, the lower the defense, hp and effectiveness it has, this doesnt need to be a huge handicap difference.
The smaller the group, the greater the buff you have to defense, hp etc. This can be controlled by proximity. So the closer you are to your team mates and group size the greater the handicap. Of course this can also cause issues with solo roamers.
Siege..
I have often found it odd that siege can be used to destroy walls and gates, then when the tower is captured, poooof the wall/door is magically repaired. What if they didnt?
This could make for more strategic sieging of towers and keeps.
Placed siege should also be used by all. If the enemy place a siege and leave it, then you can use it too. Siege should also be destroyable/dismantable (real word?) with a certain amount of the supply either re issued or a chance for the siege plan to be re issued. Only the owner of the siege placed can do this. IF an enemy tower is captured with siege placed in it, then you must also first claim the siege engine (right click or press F and select claim siege) then you can choose to destroy/dismantle.
Guards are too weak. The attack rotations are also too predictable.
A fourth enemy. This enemy will attack all, prime target is the team holding the most on the map and Stone Mist, they will also attack at random intervals. IF they capture a tower it is rendered neutral and can be captured by any team. They will only appear in EB and will not attack home keeps.
Macros? I don't see any and this isn't WoW

Certain hardware controllers can record keystroke macros, which can then be assigned to certain keys.
But, why you would require macros to play this game is beyond me.
Same issue, although I am not sure what triggers it.
But I am thinking that it has something to do with the new graphical changes applied to the latest patch.
Our guild already plays something very similar in WvW, but we call it the “Polo” event.
It does need fixing asap.
I will admit, ive done it myself by accident, either dodged and rolled through a wall, been pushed or somehow shadow stepped.
Either way, in all cases I have either tried to get back out or WP back.

Dagger Storm, or run through spamming cluster bomb, pop stealth…. Or both.

Anywhere between 2 and 5 man grps, to open world fight, cause havok, protect camps etc.

Blinding Powder.. too short to stomp.
AoE stealth, enemy players can see the aoe field, so can counter.
Healing Stealth skill = waste of skill to stomp.
Either way, for the thief to stealth stomp he/she must be near you, anyone can counter this. Stealth does not make the thief immune to damage or CC…
Actually, yes. I have.
All 3 servers fighting in SM and although there was lag in general, I did notice a vast improvement with skill lag.
This is not to say skill lag is cured, as I did still notice some, it just mean skills were firing of a couple of seconds later rather than either not firing off or firing of min’s later.
To also be fair, I have recently had my broadband upgraded from 4meg, to fiber optic 37meg. Have no Idea if this would make any difference at all.
A’Net will do something about cheaters IF they are caught and proof is provided.
What you are required to provide is video or screen capture proof of the player caught in the act.
The major flaw in this is, not everyone is running a fraps style programme all the time and by the time you manage to run your fraps, the said player has more than usually scarpered.
The report system is limited at best, with no option for reporting hacking.
THIS is why a select few (and yes it is a select few) choose to hack and cheat their way through the game.
All we can do as a player base, is keep reporting.
Can not say I have noticed the difference either. Revealed is revealed… probably just adapted my play style without noticing.
It’s not a problem – my 8 foot Norn Guardian looks better in day-glo orange, pink and green anyhow. Blinds the opposition in WvW for the easy kill!
I don’t think the enemy can see your armor colors. They see you in the color of your team, red blue or green. Could be wrong on that though.
As for Abyss I’ve had 1 drop. Got it in one of the Shiverpeak areas.
Got 1 Celestial from the 10-pack of dyes bought with Laurels.
You can change this in gfx options, so yes you can see other teams armor and colours
Let’s just say GW2 used to be better before they introduced ascended. The sheer amount of currencies introduced for this item tier alone speaks how badly designed they are.
This i do agree with, there should be one currency but with multiple avenues to obtain it.

A fourth NPC enemy. Size and difficaulty of arm is scaled on the size of the population on the WvW map. Main target of this fourth army would be to prioritise attacks on the wining team or those with the most towers/keeps etc. Their objective is not to help loosing opposing teams, as they are targets too.
Reduce the range on Trebuches, catapaults and Balistas. Sieging should be tactical and not an easy instant win feature. If you want to siege, then yes as mentioned you should be prepaired to defend them.
The ability to drop supplys you are carrying into tower/keep supply depots.
Supplys from other border lands can not be taken to another border.
Increased effectiveness of NPC deffenders.
Remove Stonemist Castle from EB.
New towers and keeps, especially if they are going to keep water, perhaps put some under water, and cliff faces (maybe even sky towers and sub terrain), will need to increase the map sizes.
Remove the downed state in PvP (structured, team and WvW) once dead, you respawn at the closest available waypoint.
Less effectiveness for larger groups to discourage zergs. So for example..
Small groups of up to 5 have a greater Vitality, Power, Condition and Toughness buff applied to them, as you get into closer proximity to greater numbers of allies this buff is reduced then removed and even given a negative state as the numbers get greater.
if you want tanks.. you could always go play World of Tanks.
Trebbs are fine… but I feel certain positions and placements should be blocked to promote and allow fair counter measures.
Won’t happen because of character slots. Most players would either have to delete an alt to make a character of the new race/profession, or buy a slot, and I don’t believe they would make us do that. They will include one or two more character slots with a paid expansion for new races/professions, if any are added.
As a free to play game, its in there best interest to add a new race in which we are then required to pay for a new charecter slot in which to play.
Not that I even remotely think this will happen with a free expansion.
Three simple solutions to those who want open world ffa pvp.
1) One ffa PvP server. (PvP is dissabled for lower starter areas, for say up to lvl 15 or 20)
2) An option to flag yourself for open world pvp on all servers. You can ONLY attack and kill those who are flagged. 5 min cooldown on flag once activated, reset each time you attack someone. Level restriction system applied.
3) One open world PvP server, with the above flagging and level restrictions system.
Sure about that?
10 warriors all leaping towards you at the same time?
I think the point Papacooldown was trying to make is, would you really be saying the same thing if it were a group of 10 warriors or guardians?
I dont think you would. Thieves are in the spotlight at the moment due to culling and other issues, which makes them more of an obvious target when things like this happen.
Same can be said for any group of 5 Cover Girl…

And no, I don’t think UW does anything like that.
Unfortunately we do (well… i dont, fair play belief and what not), many times I have seen useless siege (flame rams) build in places that I have questioned as to why it was put there.
Side note- This has to be the best WvW match up I have enjoyed so far, ignoring the odd exploiter here and there, it has been the most civilized and fun fight so far.

Yes dagger storm is zerg situational… target anyone than looks like a warrior.. steal.. followed by dagger storm… keep moving around, and stealth out or 5 out with shortbow. More often than not, ya die, but a kitten lot of fun.
Really? 8 of us couldn’t kill a thief in JQ last night, he kept going in and out of stealth for a good 2-3 min. may have been longer. Killed 4-5 of the 8 while doing so. We kept rezzing and he kept attacking, disappearing, attacking disappearing, attacking disappearing.
He was probably bummed out he couldn’t get any finals, it took him to long to kill my hunter and guys kept filtering in from our spawn, till we had 7-8 trying to kill him.
Stealth and DS are 2 very different things, a thief can spec into a stealth build, allowing just as you have described… arguably damage is low, but this is mitigated by the very fact that you can stealth out and re attack. AoE as a counter here is the key…

Speaking as un UW’er anyone using exploits to gain advantage for our server should be reported, even if they are from my team per say…
Its a shame that anyone should feel the need to use such tactics to feel the need to win..
First… it isnt a bug.
Its players using the game mechanics to suit their own end goal (all be it a very un sporting one)
Secondly, you state that you were one of the first to report it, then go on to admit to using it… double standards anyone?
