There’s so many things a warrior can do. You can kill faster then a thief, live longer then a guardian, and move faster then an ele… that being said you have to build your character to what you want to do. /copy builds isn’t the way to go because you don’t know what they were going for and a lot of our trait setups are situational. But to awnser the OP question warriors are flipping amazing in wvw in just about any build but don’t use 5 signets or you can add the repairman to your fav’ five.
Hello, i’m trying to gather enough information to attempt to create a WvW build; Any info and/or advice would be extremely appreciated. You can also post your builds if you like but don’t worry, I wont copy them.. At least not completely ;]
Found the time to reply. Your putting words in my mouth. I never said hammer was cookie cutter. Your saying this thread is a discussion, well we’re discussing. Please don’t discuss what I’ve posted unless you understand it fully. Also it seems as if people want the warrior to be a lone-wolf but that is against what A-net had in mind. Thus it not being an easy class to play UNLESS your with supportive roles.
It seems no matter how I respond to this I will be infracted lmao. In any case. You praised weapons, I used sarcasm. I said cookie-cutter builds were easy, you say they’re bad. This is my last post only because this topic has derailed, I could care less about infractions.
No sir, you are wrong. If you want an easy class play a thief. You ruining the game by trying to make everything a cookie-cutter. Go play runescape if you want an easy warrior. And if mace is so much better then use it! Don’t whine about one weapon and then give praise to another. There’s many weapons under the skill tree, pick one that’s not “crap” and move on. Try a glasscannon rifle build you might like it.. But this is going off topic. Teg, personally I feel the hammer is fine, but if it doesn’t suit your taste due to the long CD’s and the hard CC’s then experiment with other weapons, we are a very versatile class.

Personally, I think hammer is just fine. If you can’t find a way to work with what they’ve given you then reroll. It’s been known from the beginning that warriors weren’t going to be an easy class to play. I don’t think I’m the best out there but I do better then a fair amount of hammer warriors based on the fact that I don’t use the same rotation on everybody. And a tip for 4 is if you have adrenaline jump ahead of them and THEN use 4. If your running into a zerg or chasing the remnants of one then don’t attack the people closes to you, ESPECIALLY if your out of combat. If your running into a zerg then go straight to the middle and use 4, then F1 even farther to the back of the zerg because once your there it’s all squishys so just run in circles auto-attacking because its all squishys back there, if your zerg has any sense they wont attack the ones you’ve passed but will start attacking everyone you’ve just cc’d with f1. The people behind you will get mowed down eventually if only for the fact that their sitting in your zerg while CC’d. But all this is for WvW, in PvE you can generally just spam buttons lol. Hope this helps anyone in anyway.

13.33 stat points – Earring
14 stat points – Backpack (rare version from guild armorsmith)
14.22 stat points – 2H weapons
14.4 stat points – Coat
16 stat points – Ring, helm and legging
I would use knights and the rest would be zerkers?
Also Wobels im using knights trinkets with ruby jewels in the rings and necklace. my traits are 10/0/30/30/0
I have all my knights gear Atm.. using runes of rage. I just don’t know which weapon stats would benefit me the most.
So lets say a humble warrior is using knights gear with runes of rage/strength/divinity (not all at once), what would be the best weapon stats? Zerkers,more Knights, or even Valkyrie?
Is arah p2 bugged? i can never initiate the first boss fight
Oops.. I meant power/precision/toughness. I’m using knights jewelry with ruby gems so I think I’ll go with the runes of rage. Thanks.
Well if your going for a sniper look then the first one fits the bill(mostly). I dont see why a sniper would be running around in a big tin can so the 1st more leather looking set looks more appropriate
I know this doesn’t go along with the topic but it might help him (and me). Would it be best to use sigils of fire with Power/Toughness/Vitality gear and which runes would benefit the most? I’ve been thinking runes of rage or strength.

Hello. Right now im using full pow/vit/toughness gear with emerald jewelry and i have ruby jewels in them. I have been looking for what runes and sigils would be best for damage. And also if anyone knows some nice builds if they can post them not only for my benefit but also for any other people.
