Hello and thanks for the response. It’s not that it has totally resolved it for me, it still comes back, just that when the error happens, I switch from using the command, to not using the command, or vice versa. It will make the problem go away for long enough to be playable for me in the game. I’ll play gw2 for maybe hours at a time and maybe experience the error 1-2 times instead of 5-10 times. Its a workaround.
I suspect it could be my network losing packets (I’m on the second floor and my wireless router is on the first floor) so the next thing I’m going to do is purchase a stronger dual band wireless N router and try to operate on the 5ghz channels instead of the 2.4 channels. The weird thing is other games are just fine.

So I’ve noticed the turrets don’t start firing until you attack something and then it attacks the first thing you attack until it is dead or disappears.
Question is, what is the next thing it attacks? Does it have it’s own “aggro” table, or does it simply attack the next thing you attack? Or based on something else (what is attacking it currently)?
Do turrets act like ranger pets basically?
I haven’t been able to test this very well and was wondering if anyone knew the answer right off the top of their head.
Straightforward question. Note I am NOT talking about tanking. What do you guys think?
since everything is instanced and personal story is on a different server than WVW which is on a different server lions arch map which is on a different server than another map which is on a different server than heart of mists:
char login is kept track of on a per server basis, therefore if you are having trouble with one char, its probably because of the server its on at that particular moment in time. usually giving the server time such as a few hours will allow you to log onto that char again
that has been my experience. it never prevents me from logging onto a toon for more than a day.

update: had a wireless keyboard and wireless headphones, disconnected those and used wired devices instead, seemed to last longer without the error, once happened once today
yeah you just have to wait until that server your char was on detects you are no longer playing it and it will autoboot it

Says “Network Error” at the top, so vague.

/clientport80 seems to make the issue come less often.
Opened and forwarded ports 80, 443, 6112, and 6600.
No antivirus running in background, no firewalls turned on.
Full system scan with malwarebytes reported nothing.
Linksys wireless G adapter and router. Restarted it. Changed wireless channel from 6 to 11. Released and renewed all IP addressesw got brand new IP address.
Cox Internet cable.
Dota 2 runs without interruption.

The last jump is to arena net, the #/25 is how many packets out of 25 were dropped, sometimes as you can see 25/25 packets were dropped.

Or at least, has been working. I will play for the day and see what happens.
UPDATE: NOPE happened again. Before it was happening in instances for personal story, now its happening in WVW. Lasted a while though.

Absolutely no antivirus running in background.
Ran malwarebytes full scan found nothing.
Computer is very top end with an i7, highest radeon, 16gb RAM, and ssd hard drive.
I have been working on computers for years can’t figure this one out, will check elsewhere and run a network diag as suggested in another post.
