Hi, I used to be able to play full screen or windowed mode, but now my game only works in windowed mode. When I press alt+enter to go into full screen, the game turns black and the screen keeps flashing. I can’t alt+tab or even open the task manager. It just keeps flashing and I can’t do anything but press ctrl+alt+del and log off my user.
Does anyone know what I can do to be able to play full screen again?
The way I could exploit it if it were equal is I buy 5000 gems for x gold right before an update is announced. When the update is announced, the price of gems rises, I then sell all of the gems I have for a profit. Instant money. Very bad for the game.

I still need help! My computer crashes every time I try to install Guild Wars. It’ll install for a number of minutes and then my computer will crash and restart…
Ok I finally got the disk to work. I started the installation, but then my computer crashed. When I was updating the game on another user on my computer my computer also crashed. So I don’t know what to do.
(Screen turns a different color (varies), and the computer restarts.)

I try to start up my GW2, it does a spinning loading thing as the mouse for a few seconds or 1 second, then nothing pops up. I look on the Task Manager and it says it’s running (in processes, not applications).
I already tried the -repair thing (didn’t work), and I finally got it uninstalled last night. Right now I tried downloading it again from here and it does the same thing. If I go on a different user on my computer it works though. I also deleted everything from the Registry that has Guild Wars 2 or Gw2 in it. All I have left is a folder with Music (folder), Screenshots (folder), local.dat, and ArenaNet.log.
Like on Saturday, I started up GW2 and left it to update a big update. Once I came back hours later, my computer had crashed. I didn’t go back to the game after that, but today I tried starting it up. I double click the icon, it does a swirling blue loading thing, and then it disappears. Nothing pops up, but on the Task Manager it shows that it’s running. I tried putting the disk in and starting, but the same thing happens. I tried uninstalling, but nothing happens.
I was on the last part of the event, after doing it for like 3 hours almost, and my game crashed, as well as a lot of other people. This means I got no chest and am not able to get it…
Pavel Mondaren was my character (leading the quest), and my friend, Allers (account name is Allers.2753) was following my quests. We were in Lion’s Arch after Kellach’s Attack and talking to Logan Thackeray and his friends, my quest changed to A Fragile Peace (level 30), and my friend’s quest changed to Forewarned is Forearmed (level 48).
