I belive you didnt get point of my post. Some times when PvP player grow up he starts playing tournaments. In this mysterious PvP format it does diffrence WHEN u die. Sometimes this 10-20sec of delayed death can win a teamfight when your opponents doeasnt receive rally and teamfights goes on.

Beside how kittening bad this map is.

Was it even tested? If yes then Anet should get some better testers…

There is Necro bug that allows player to avoid falling dmg which leads to delaying death and w8ing to teamfight to end or whatever. Im just curious if Anet is aware of this bug and still put this map in.

I would gladly see some Dev answears here.

Yeah, it is.
To be more precise, it is just one hit.
That means that if the strike misses, the venom effect is still there.

I may be wrong but I was preety sure that when it “miss” it disappear, but like I said I’m not sure about this.

Some nice tips at Supply Crate topic.

Moa Morph is hard to dodge in 1vs1 cause it animation is kittening pink as any other mesmer skill also it can be casted in stealth. If some1 is dodging it at teamfight on purpose then /bow for him.

Dodge isnt only way to avoid it. IMO best is blind and if thief is smart( and he stoped attack ) u can just preepare to eat his combo ( basilik open it in most cases) by using ur blurred frenzy, casting flesh wurm or spectral walk or just hold ur finger on break stun button.

You should kite the ranger pet in a circle so you won´t get hit ever .

I didnt see any1 talking about ranger pet here but kiteing pet in circle not always is the best idea, it depends whats ur position and if its worth to abadon it. ( thats just my oopinion ofc )

Also its good to try interrupt Illusion of Life but its kind of hard to see it ( although cast time was increased few patches ago), its situational skill so u can see it coming in most cases.

Banish – 4th hammer Guardian skill, easy to see in 1vs1 and its main tool to debunker node.

You can block it, or put fear after it, or any other class mechanic that give u those few safe second after beeing hit by basilik. ( i.g just blind thief ).

@list
all heal spells, most of them are easy to recognize ( blue aura ).

also imo epidemic is not worth of interupting, its hard to see, its easy to counter by current meta, there are more important things to interupt. ( epidemic is 12-15 sec CD)

Entangle – ranger elite, is rly easy to see it ( he is jumping like a mad man ), so its easy to dodge and dodging it may safe u a lot of problem.

Supply Crate – its much more harder to see it but its possible

Tome of Courage – for some classes its hard to interupt ( it may require boon strip ) but its 4.25 s cast time so it shouldnt be problem

and about leaving teams, they are leaving not beacuse this game is simple but cause developers are failing with some stuff.

Normally u got 5sec chill on 15sec cd (Dark Path) and 4 sec chill on 20sec cd (chillblains) what possible way u can perma chill some1, even a golem?? and he dont clean cond…

What I mean by that i have to alwatys get this trait its that if i want to invest some points in Death Magic ( Greater Marks ) i had to invest it in Reanimator too, and its not a case of investing 25 in Spite Magic because there is smaller number of builds that need it ( ofc if we make Power Necro it is necessary most of time)

The problem is in number of traits and skills cleaning conditions, they are balanced vs Engineer not vs Necro, so necro will need more conditions or engi less cond + all other classes will get less cond cleans.
IMO if we get some more poison on scepter and one extra cond just for covering our bleeds it would be great.

@ staff: Oblivion already said it in SOTG, marks should be greater at beggining and unblock + 20% recharge should be merged ( i hope that was what u said if im wrong then sory )

@ “Target the Weak” trait : this issue is irrelevant ( IMO ofc ) for me a Reanimator trait is dumbest minortrait in whole game. Jagged Horrors are just useless. And i dont have to take always Target the Weak but i have to invest my points in Reanimator each time i take Staff.

I would gladly see some way to escape or block on Necro:
Spectral Armor is just bad, its not worth Utilty Slot ( even Last Gasp trait has lower CD! )
Flesh Wurm , i love this skill but it has so kitten long cast time!! Why??
Foot in the Grave Trait, last but not least, also love this one ( stability is great ) but why cant it be 3,5 sec?? i cant even stomp properly with it, they want us to write macros for Shroud stomp or what???

I dont expect BIG changes but few ideas posted in this topic wouldnt OverBuff Necro but make him viable.

We need way to cover our bleeds, maybe if each stack of bleed wouldnt push our bleed at beggining of stack? ( First in First off but not reseted for each new apply untill condition is still on target). This way Burning also would be easier to clean cause its short condition ( its harder to keep it perma on target).

In other topic: How is it possible that engineer 4th skill on off-hand Pistol is 6sec Burning and only 15 sec CD ( there are range circumstancer but still OP )? When traited its 8,5 sec on 12 sec CD? And its AoE! Where is that Balance guy and what is he doing cause he should start working.

Post it here cause despite the fact it concerns Engineer it also have influence at another Condition builds ( necro ).

It’s about Necros, that’s why.

We had to post video evidence about a bug that has been in-game since release and talked about for over a month affecting our down state, leaving us with 1/3 of our intended life in PvE and WvW before a dev would confirm that they would fix it.

Dev seen that topic only because Lemanve catched JonPeters on Kaypud stream that day and linked it to him, otherwise we would still wait for response.

3.) & 4.) for that you play MM…with the right build you will beat even rangers in 1v1…I have never fought against teldos updated far point assault build so till now.. so I don’t know if that is beatable but till last weekend..I’ve beaten every class in 1v1 as an MM.

Its not about 1vs1. If u r MM u r rly weak in team fights and even in 2vs2, cause some AoE dmg will kill minions. Also Minions in higher skill cap can be easliy avoid by wall bug.

Feedback on Spectator Mode

Right now most builds are already copies. Although builds will alwyas have diffrences, you will use other skills in Hot-Join and Tournament, your traits depends on your team composition and your utility skills depends who are your enemies. This diffrences are only for one spec (i.g condition necro), but you will also have other spec as necro(wellomancer, d/d melee, minion master).

IMO showing traits in Spectator mode is great.

@ spectator mode trailer we can see blue and red dots on map, this is sort by player or by team?? and if its by player, does that mean that from now we will get this feature only in spectating or in all modes?
also this colors are sort by class or rather just place in party like in other games (moba im looking at u)?

Right now we can see on minimap not only our teammates but also Jagged Horrors and other minions. Fixing this is a must.

Pesonally i think that Luthan is right:
-We should see our whole team on map, meaningless how far from us they are.
-Seeing every enemy in combat mode could be too much

Ideal solution for me would be some chat commands i.e. 1 .. 5 on close | mid | far , writing this during fight sux
