They even have the forum communications team! I would love a job like that. Barely doing anything and getting paid for it. Sounds awesome.

A public test server, other than the Anet’s private intranet servers the company prerelease patches on (amongst other things) before a global release, would do little to no good for this game… You don’t need a public test server for a free, lower pvp population mmo that is GW2. The company loses money keeping it up and they gain nothing from it..
Well, why not test the entire game then? Not only for balance but for bugs and general feedback.
Even small games like Planetside 2 can support public test server. Why the hell Anet can’t?
1. Encourage fights/kills (more ppk, gold, loot or anything, better map design, more places to fight, fast travel etc.)
2. Self sustaining gamemode. Don’t force us to play PvE for food, utility, ascended items etc.
3. No gimmicky stuff that make fights worse (earth walls, banners, lava etc.). I actually miss old orbs. Rework them to capture and bring for 100 points (no stat bonus). Like capture the flag or something like that.
4. Good seperated profession balance.
5. Every playstyle/activity should be rewarded for both player and server/alliance/whatever (roaming, zerg, gvg, scouting etc.)
Totally would but i don’t really want to see very low quality zergs of PvE players tho. Arena.net should focus on bringing wvw players back, not filling borders with goldfarmers.
Also, how many classes can trigger the traps with something? Not many actually.
Everyone except necro and war. “Not many”, yeah.
3. Condis need to be viable in organized and semi organized large scale combat. There is so much AOE and passive cleanse spam right now its stupid to play a condi build.
Aren’t they already? Condi reaper is the main trend for necros nowadays.
Maybe only for roamers. For guild-zerg fights condi are pretty much useless. Every guardian can remove up to 14 conditions from his party.
wvw is not just a battle of zergs, but the solo / group roaming. thats why changes in spvp should be similar to pve/wvw.
When I started playing this game i tought WvW would be awesome with all the combos possible between all professions, but no, people just hug and start running forward while pressing 1. The game has a great PvP potential that unfortunately players and devs don’t see.
Dont play with unskilled pugs, join some guild.
I think Anet dont care about balancing WvW. I dont need stupid rewards. Just boost useless profetions (eng/rang), boost comletely useless utilities (mantra, singet, conjure, spirit, etc. ), weapons (ele’s focus, warrior’s maces, ranger’s axes, all guardian’s 1h weps, etc.) , elites (ele’s , eng’s, )

For example the post above me places Guardian shout build above Necro tank/plague build, and yet I play both those in WvW and find my Necro to be far superior.
