This is all doable already (it’s called organization and planning) and Guild Halls are coming.
I don’t think you fully understand my OP.
Please re read what I posted/suggested. We, as a guild, already organise a weekly PvE events clearing all of Orr from all available not bugged dynamic events at the time we go there. Once more after you do it for the 9th time it gets dull and boring.

For a game named Guild Wars 2, there is not much for a guild to do together. While WvW is great fun for guilds, we need something for PvE. Since I hit lvl 80 a while ago, I have been running Orr events with my Guild. We basically just gather up and clear all of Orr events as one guild in 2-3 hours, give or take.
In all honesty this is getting dull. We need something to do as a guild in PvE. A fun challenging activities with rewards awaiting at the end for Guilds. This may sound like I’m asking for raids but in fact I’m not. I think the events system is a great start.
I think the following need to be added to the game:
1- We would like to build our own Guild Hall/Keep/Castles and be able to at least have some control on where the trade post/bank/crafting stations are placed. Maybe costume portals if possible.
2- We need an instance/map like Orr meant to be done with your guild that scale with the number of members present. This would be awesome using the event system with dynamic events going all over the map. Make it challenging and as Dynamic as possible to keep things fresh for us.
3- Award us as a guild with some special armour that has our logo and maybe guild initials.
4- Epic huge bosses like claw of jormag are a must. Make them based on team work and not zeros added to health and damage.
5- Maybe an epic Guild personal story that helps define our guild during those events.

I really think it should have been linked to guilds & Influence. The price should be high enough and linked to WvW in someway.

I seriously don’t understand the logic behind Outnumbered buff. How is getting EXP & magic find buff in a war zone going to help balance the current situation? I personally rather get 1% toughness than 3000000% ExP + Magic find in WvW when we are outnumbered.
I find it insulating and in a way it is telling us “ops we are outnumbered! lets go kill some pixels and get some lotz”
I think the following need to be changed:
1- Don’t encourage PvE in WvW by given the outnumbered side a full PvE buff.
2- Replace the current buff with a small Toughness + Health buff. Does not have to be anything game breaking, 5%-10% is enough.

GG HOD and thanks for the great fights. 8 hours of none stop action. Our guild and the rest of SBI map fought good HOD guilds. I’m glad we were able to win most battles.
I hope I don’t wake up to see AB taken from us lol, DU did a great job in acquiring & protecting it then upgrading it while getting constantly attacked by HOD zergs.

Ranger might be the issue then.
I can’t confirm since we did summon 30~ sec pets. I did it with Human elite and Ele both did it I think with Earth summon if I’m not mistaken.
This also does not dismiss your theory since unlike ranger pets all other pets die faster and last for around 30 sec. Best bet is to try it without a ranger pet and then later on try it once more with a ranger pet.

Did you have a Ranger in your team Amon? We assume its the ranger pets that kind of get him bugged, for some reason the boss prefers attacking pets over players and gets stuck on pillars while chasing them.
No we had Engineer, Thief, Two Elementalist and a Guardian.

Thats fine, there are dungs that I enjoyed better but everyone has a different taste. However I think you have been pretty lucky with the submarine path, the heavily armored boss gets almost always stuck in one of the pillars!
And then you have only 2 options 1. re-run whole path 2. keep attacking him but you deal only around 80dmg a hit so it takes forever.
Thats why we aborted the dung and decided not to return untill its fixxed.
Anet didnt give any response, nor did they fix it with yesterdays patch so i wonder whats going on.
We did not face this issue. Although, More than once he will run through the pillars and not get knocked down. This only happened when he charges between pillars.
We killed him from the very first try so we either got lucky or they fixed him somehow.

Today I did Crucible of Eternity explorable for the first time with my guild. Cleared all 3 paths and boy it was fun (two more dungeon and I get my dungeon master title ^^).
I think this is the first dungeon I had a true fun/true challenge experience. By true I mean I really think lots of the other dungeons mechanics are cheap from a melee Thief point of view and the term L2P does not really apply to me since I only got few paths to clear to get my dungeon master title.
Anyway, COE is not easy, but at the same time it is a fair dungeon. You will get a good adrenaline rush and lots of cursing in TS/Vent when you run out of dodges.
The good:
1- Each path is balanced length wise. Not too long, not too short.
2- Waypoints are balanced. You get 3-4 Waypoints and they are not placed too close for death zerg boss and not too far when you wipe.
3- It is hard but once you learn the mechanics the entire team will be working together against each boss beautifully.
4- No 0.5 microsecond to avoid one shot, instead you get a fair chance to avoid Legendary bosses one shot.
5- I was able to melee the entire dungeon on all 3 paths, all bosses as Thief and this is probably why this Dungeon is now my favorite. Note: I melee on all dungeons, the difference COE does not make me feel at a disadvantage because I refuse to range with my toothpick (shortbow) or my water guns (pistols).
6- Subject Alpha is a very good example of a legendary boss in my opinion. He is tough until you learn how to defeat him. My opinion anyway.

I usually try to avoid forums because it’s usually full of complainers and conspiracies people but I’ll try to chime in to keep this post good.
First I’d like to point out last Friday my guys were trying to take west keep in SBI Borderlands from JQ and we stacked a bunch of trebs on the inner hill once we blew up their outer wall and HoD happened to have a group inside too. We knew the second we tried to push the Lord they could AJ us and we waited for a long time until we just said “**** it” let’s just go anyway. The second we pushed towards the Lord (hoping to use our trebs as cover to build catas closer) HoD right on queue ran behind and destroyed the few people left and all our siege leaving us to get owned by JQ. Of course people thought “ahh we got doubled teamed they must be allied!” Not true, it was a logical move considering HoD had the smaller force inside the keep at the time and sometimes it just makes sense to play within your means whereas other times you just play for fun and in HoD’s case it was probably both at that time.
So if we had an alliance with HoD I must have missed the message as we tried getting that west keep about 4 times seriously that night and couldn’t, it was a dead stalemate in that borderland (SBI controlled top, HoD their third, JQ theirs…etc) for over 6 hours.
Anyway, many kudos to HoD as I use them constantly as an excuse to try and organize our own server. Looking forward to slowly getting a proper alliance on SBI this Sunday.

I think it was me who did this to you guys. Might have been someone else, but anyway the three that was chasing after me asked for it. I went stealth and the three of you (or other three) stood still hugging each others and not moving at all. I picked the one in the centre and slashed you guys with pistol whip twice in a row and none of you even tried to move at all even though only one person got stunned. It was also clear that your gear sucked since you went down very fast with my not so much dps build -_-.
Note I was running in full exotic gear. There was nothing OP about it, it was average player Vs bad playerS.

It’s ironic that the OP would talk about how everyone who wants to work towards balance is self centered when what he wants is to continue a broken system that only benefits him and the few in his time zone.
As so many Oceanic players are fond to use this phrase i’ll try it in your direction: There’s more to the world than Australia and New Zeland.
What? So shutting down WvW at our prime time or nerf our points at our prime time is a balanced solution?

There are things the community can fix on their own without the need of crying and selfishly ask for (I, ME, MYSELF ONLY). Your guild can always start an alliance with Asian guilds and work on creating a global community in your server. This is what we did in Stormbluff we created a community from all around the world before even the game came out.
Many Alliances did the same because it was obvious you needed a global presence in the server to make WvW a true 24/7 war.

We have to deal with higher ping than most players and now we must be nerfed in WvW. Excellent, what a wonderful idea, why not just block us from playing GW2 all together?

Today for the first time I read the WvW forums. What do I find? People asking to nerf other time zones so no one can play when they are asleep.
I’m part of one of Australia largest guilds, and we will play on our prime time just like how everyone else can play on their own time zones. It is our own time zone, what do you expect us to do? Set our clocks to 3AM in the morning so we play on your own time zone?
This not something that can be fixed by making our game experience less than you, your highness want us to suffer because we live in a different part of the world.
Want to fix this? Set your own alarm clock to 3AM, because we won’t do such idiotic thing. We have a life after all.

I’m about to craft my third exotic armour, just missing one ecto.
I’m trying to balance dmg with survivability in dungeons. Which would be better vit or toughness?
I can only have one of either in my armour since I don’t want to kill my dmg. So based on your experience, what should I go for?

This is a short feedback from someone who has completed almost all dungeons in all exp paths with his guild and have two full exotic sets and almost completed my third. My main is a thief, so some of my experience is related to that fact. Note please, English is not my first language.
Rewards:
I personally find dungeons not rewarding at all. It might be fine for dungeons with easy paths but for the hard ones that takes hours to complete for few tokens it is just not worth it. All I see is blue, green and white drops mostly and sometimes, rare drops. However that’s not the point at all. If those drops wither they are white or exotic had their own style then it would have been a different story all together. Everyone can get the very best stats armor & weapons from lvl 400 crafting, so the point from dungeons is how the armor looks and not the stat.
Solution:
While tokens provide a rare set and an exotic set, I think each dungeon should drop unique sets. It does not matter wither it is exotic or not so long it does have its own unique style in relation to the dungeon itself. Each exp path should drop different armor parts. Example, path 1 has a chance to drops head & shoulders, path 2 drops weapons and so on. Once more stats is not the key here, the key is the unique looks so it give us a reason to do each path instead of farming the easiest path in each dungeon.
Melee Vs Range:
I like to melee most of the times since short bow and dual pistols are inferior to sword/pistol or dagger/dagger. There is a fundamental issue with melee; we are at much higher risk of death, instant death, with veterans or bosses than rangers (not the profession but I mean attacking from afar). There is a huge obvious gap between range and melee, I would love to see that fixed specially since the whole point is to play however way we want.
Solution:
In all honesty I don’t know how you would make it balanced between range and melee. However, few games after a while added passive 20%-30% extra defense for anyone who is doing melee. This definitely a solution but not one I like. I think the solution should be worked around more or faster endurance recharging when we are doing melee.
Anvil:
Why do we have to pay an anvil? Seriously, for a group doing a dungeon for the first time it is extremely punching because of the repair cost. Even groups who have done the dungeon a billion times would think twice about inviting someone new to their groups in fear of constant wipe.
Solution:
Remove repair cost all together in dungeons or slash it by at least 70%. Add a timer on it or something so it won’t be abused by someone who is not doing dungeons. In another word repairs cost slashed by 70% after you spend 20~ minutes in a dungeon.
Indicators:
Some bosses need obvious animation or some sort of indications that they are about to one shot the entire team (wearing full exotic). I will never understand why MMO developers think it is fine to one shot half or the entire team just because we are fighting a boss with no obvious indications what so ever.
