I don’t know if any other charr players have noticed, but since the last patch ArenaNet seems to have changed the way some charr should armor scales with their bodytype.
Since I chose the skinniest charr body type for my female warrior this has drastically changed the way some shoulder armor now looks on her. Of course, this is much easier to show than explain so I have attached a comparison below. The first screenshot is before the change, the second one is after.
Gotta say, pretty bummed about this. The t3 cultural shoulders went from looking amazing to looking puny and well… Let’s just say I won’t be buying them now. I actually only noticed this because I was RIGHT about to buy them after saving up the gold. Glad I previewed them first. D:
Not sure what all shoulders have been affected by this change, but I know my Jofast’s Pauldrons have also been affected. They shrunk in size as well but the plates closest to the neck used to clip through the shoulder pads before and now they don’t. So, happy about that fix at least.
Anyways, I’m not sure if the way this change is affecting some shoulders for charr is considered a bug or not and I apologize if I’m posting this in the wrong forum. However, I did want to get this out there in hopes that maybe it can be addressed or fine tuned a bit more. Glad to at least see some changes going on for charr armor!
