Hello Gamers,

What is St Jude Play Live? This is a charity event, where gamers help raise funds to help fight childhood cancer and other deadly diseases. Gamers grab their keyboards, controllers, stream on Twitch TV, and play live, while encouraging friends, family, and other gamers to join them in this fight for the children. The Sea of Sorrows Community is dedicated to four 24 hour live stream to help fight childhood cancer. We will be giving away some great prizes to our followers throughout each 24 hour stream. For those able or willing to give a little to St. Jude, we will be entering you in the drawing for a chance to win a Legendary Weapon. Our goal is to raise $1337.00 between June 27th through August 8th, 2015.

Who is ENVY?

The Pack You Envy is a small WvW/ PvX guild, specializing in small ops tactics, from capping camps to ninjaing keeps, but our BL commanders will tag up whenever necessary. In our off raid times you will see us scouting and roaming. We enjoy fights but also place importance to defense of home BL. We enjoy being supportive of our community and working with main map commanders, using TS3, and Community website.

We run in groups of 3-5 players except on reset nights we run about 10 plus.
We prefer to run heavies and casters, but all professions are accepted.
We do require players to rep for WvW Raid times, but repping other guilds for PvE, Guild Missions, etc… is fine.
Teamspeak and website usage is a must for effective communications and team building, mic for TS3 is not required, as long as you can hear.

Sea of Sorrows server will be hosting an amazing event on June 7th (3pm to 9pm server time – PST).

GWEN radio & Gamers Giving Back partnered with us for a HUGE SUMMER PARTY on SoS! All servers are invited to join us for this awesome lagoon party!!

M A L I B U Barbie and Ursa Ventura from GWEN Radio (http://www.gw-en.com) will be DJing our event and they will be giving away prizes on air. We will also have some sexy bartenders and shooter girls for those who are thirsty!

Most unhappy with this news, with 12 level 80’s, the monies I have spent on Abyss, Midnight Ice, Celestial, and White dyes for my toons. I feel very ripped off with receiving just unidentified dyes that won’t come close to making the money back I have invested… very disgruntled. >:(

Welcome to SoS…. looking forward to working along side.

I understand some commanders wishing the public or private option, that would be nice, but color coding would help in that regard to a degree. Map commander, guild commander, havoc commander, etc… would also help communication across maps to all players in WvW. Players popping on a map asking for a zerg, would be able to see what commanders are focusing on. Then it would be a players choice to follow the commander they want.

An added bonus for joining a squad would probably make more players do so, but commanders earning there tags or tools they can use as a commander should be available to all commanders. I believe picking commanders you wish to follow does come by trial and error. Some you gain respect for and some you run from . Account wide commander tags would be great for those that do get bored playing one profession/ character all the time. Maybe when you hover over a commander their acct name could show instead of character name ( not sure how difficult something like this would be to do).

I do feel that only your server/ map should be able to see who is commanding, be able to join squad, but not other servers.

Being able to see who is in your squad or how many would be extremely helpful. As well as the supply info radius.

Seeing your own tag would be helpful for commanders. I have often done a guild event then pop into WvW and forget I was tagged up for guild mission.

Great suggestions everyone… hope we see some helpful changes for commanders soon.

I am having a great time in WvW this week… great fights… enjoyed the Garri battles last night on SoS BL… TY SBI & SoR. Now I have a challenge for you off the battle fields…

Please before this thread gets out of control with hacking accusations and filling up space on the forums…. Most guilds on probably any server DONOT support cheating/ hacking. Most Guild Leaders appreciate the contact so they can follow up on their team and protect the reputation of their guilds.

Please report to anet if you see someone cheating- take screens/ video whatever you can to send in to anet.

Now to something a little more fun…. last time TC/FA/ SoS matched up… we had great fun doing a Rainbow Dolyak Parade around SoS borderlands.

Next month GW2 turns 1 year old. What would you like to see in the Anniversary update? Do you think players will be given birthday presents like in GW1? Share your thoughts.

I would personally love to see guild halls with a new GvG siege system in place. Where we defend our guild halls against another guild. Not limited to a party of 5 or 8, but all the guild members online can participate to defend their guild hall.

Hopefully Anet will stay true to the GW1 birthday presents of the mini pets… always loved collecting mini’s.
