If you want an option that would automatically equip your town clothes, then I think that would be acceptable. As long as players have the option to turn it off.
It is so easy to change that it’s not likely to be implemented.
I agree that they need to add a lot more town clothes options before this becomes something that I would do.
A bit high? It’s ridiculous. I have seen som many instant spawns where I just killed a monster that its really unacceptable.
I agree that they did not make food effects strog enough. The 30 minute duration is pretty bad too. There should be stronger foods that last longer. Perhaps a chance during crafting of creating a high quality version of the food that last longer and does more would be better.
Guildwars 2 is in danger if arenanet doesn't act on their endgame while they still can

I also agree with the OP. FF11 had an exceptional endgame when you hit max level there were areas where you could only go after you completed an long quest line. There were nototorious monsters (bosses) that dropped exceptional armor which were worth acquiring. There were also bosses in the world that it took many people grouped together with a strategy to defeat.
Perhaps the problem is that they did not think that anything more than a 5 man group was worth doing?
Seems like they pretty much ignored endgame all together.
They definitely need GMs. I guess that’s what you get when you don’t have a monthly subscription.
I agree. We should also be able to see Defense, Healing Power and Condition Damage.
It would be nice to be able to see combat stats like DPS and healing of party members.
It’s not part of the trade, whatever that means. It is an unfair practice by people who want to sell their item faster than other people by selling at a lower price. It does happen in most MMOs, but that doesn not mean that it is not possible to enact changes in order to change people’s behavior. We’re also not talking about usurious fees, just a warning to players that they are undercutting their fellow players and must pay a premium to do so. For example, let’s say that you want to sell your stick of butter for 29 copper and the listing fee is 4 copper. Unfortunately that is below the lowest price that anyone is selling, therefore you must pay 6 copper to list the item at 29 copper.
I’d really like to see selling history, but that would probably be too large of a load for their server to handle.
It’s just my opinion and a suggestion.
You might want to look at the difference between there and their.
I would like to see the Trading Post changed so that items are not able to be sold for one copper above the price that NPCs buy the item from players. It makes no logical sense why people would sell items for one copper above the npc price when it costs 4-6 copper just to list the item.
A friend of mine pointed out that if their inventory is full and they want to create space that they may list items for the lowest price in order to clear inventory.
While this makes sense, the TP should not allow the price to be so close to the NPC Arenanet has recognized the problems with oversupply of certain items and the low price. It is the TP mechanic that is the problem.
This will be a contentious issue, but I maintain that there should also be an additional fee that players should pay in order to list an item at a lower price than the currently advertised price. This is commonly referred to as lowballing. In normal trade as ‘dumping’ and is widely publicized as an unfair trade practice.
The lowballer fee should be 50% more than the current listing cost to list the item. It should also warn that player that their fee is higher because they want to sell their item(s) at a lower price than currently advertised.
This is a bad idea. First of all because the dyes are a rare drop and do not drop very often. It would take a person a very long time to get enough dyes to change their equipment colors. Secondly, since there are so many colors that the rate of drop precludes one from acquiring enough similar colors to avoid having rainbow people walking all over the place.
Account bound? You must be joking.
You may not like the price of black, white and other desirable dyes, but I challenge the OP to attempt to acquire one Abyss Dye. Imagine how long it would take one to get 6 Abyss dyes. That is why they are auctionable on the TP.
I have played several MMOs which allow players to add their own custom map markers to maps like FF11 and Aion. Aion actually had the map markers bound to the account so that all characters shared the same map and could see their map markers on all characters.
This would be useful for marking World Event locations or quest spots etc.
I think that it would be a valuable tool.
