Yes, D/P is not all about spamming 1 and 4, but it’s the same for D/D. You just don’t know what you are talking about. D/D is not about just spamming 3 too. If you do so, you will just die. And D/D is easily countered by CC, even more if you just spam.

Edit : And please don’t speak about skill when in D/P all you do is to 2v1 by coming from behind and from stealth with a stun (basilik venom) and attack a squishy player who is already fighting and near to death, just by spamming 1 and kill him in 2sec. and then run away if someone attack you and go stealth.

It works in other games perfectly well, I don´t see why it shouldnt work in GW2. Most plebs in Europe have to learn English in school.

You have to learn maths too, does this mean everybody is good at maths ? No. And it’s the same for English.
I often was the first in my class in English, or at least, one of the first. And as I said, I don’t understand spoken English.
The level of English in my country is just very low because of the bad school teaching methods we have.

Furthermore I don’t see that “non-English-speakers” would be an issue, since they won’t understand written English as well.

I personnaly do understand written English but I don’t understand spoken English.

The beginning of mounts?

You people have some problems. o.O

When someone suggests adding mounts in the game (with 25%, 33% or even 0% speed boost), you complain saying that “we don’t need speed boost, we have WP”, “we don’t want mounts because it makes people rushing” (even if we suggest cosmetic mounts with 0% speed boost …).
And now, a kite is not the same for you ? Just because we don’t sit on it ? Because the character hold it in his hand ?
A kite or a mount with 33% speed boost is just the same ! Just forget about the animation !

[Suggestion] Transmute trinkets

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

Angrod.7850

This idea has already been suggested, but it was a long time ago.

It’s about to transmute the appearance of a trinket and the statistics of another one.
There are a lot of unique special trinkets in the world of GW2 but they are not so useful, because after you level up, you will use another more powerful trinket.
Here you would be able to customize more your character, even if other players don’t see the trinkets you wear.
I know this suggestion is not so interesting to lots of people but I think it is for RP players or for players who pay a lot of attention to detail.
And this suggestion is not too hard and would not take too much time te be implemented in game I think.

Additional suggestions :
I think it would be better and more logical if transmuted armors/weapons/trinkets have the name of the transmuted skin and not the name of the statistics.
And it would be cool if we can see an unique skin for trinkets on our character (for example, if you wear a ring, you see the ring on the finger of your character). Here, transmutation for trinkets would be more useful for a lot of people.
But personally, only be able to transmute trinkets is fine to me.

Here a little poll to know what you think of this suggestion :

Sorry if I made spelling mistakes.

[Suggestion] Mounts?

You have not understood what I mean.

In the reality : Cars/Horses(mounts)
In the game : Waypoints/Mounts

Cars = Waypoints
Horses = Mounts

You will take your car to go faster as you will take a waypoint in the game to go faster to your destination.
You will take a horse for the fun, to walk and relax : mounts.

There are cars in the reality, but we can still ride a horse.
So your comparison WP/mounts doesn’t make sense.

There is a seraph saying that centaurs are made to be ride.
In GW1, there were undead who rode undead horses.
On the Hoelbrak artwork we can see a norn ridding a dolyak.
There is a model of a knight ridding a horse in the game.

Same as Vissarion.

No need a speed buff on them, but just mounts. <3

It’s the only thing I would really love to see in the game.

We will no more be able to mix and match.

So, to resume, after the changes will be done, it will be like I have paid with my real money for the Executioner’s outfit, a costume I’ll never wear because I bought it only for the gloves and the boots (rest of the set I don’t like).
So it’s like I paid with real money for nothing. Oh well, then we can consider it a donation !

As always we ask you to try out the new system of customization and see what’s available to you. I think many people will be surprised by how many pieces have become armor compatible. We hope the benefits to the outfit system and wardrobe in terms of future support and additions will be clear, and you can look forward to more new outfits coming very soon.

I’m pretty sure I’m not going to like the new system anyways because I will not be able to have the appearance I really want. You can create as many costumes as you want, I’m sure there will be a piece (and certainly more than one) that I will hate.

I always mix and match for town clothes or for armors because I never like the entire sets there are in the game and I prefer to create my proper one.

Ok, mix and match town clothes with armors is maybe a problem for you that could justify why you don’t procede like that.
But, instead of doing such a bad system like that which limit our creativity, why don’t you just not keep the actual town clothes system and let us the possibility to chose from our armor or our town clothes for the combats ?

I don’t speak about the entire wardrobe system but just the town clothes modifications. They can just add the wardrobe and not the modifications they made to town clothes, so that they can rethink it.

Videoboy, doing that is like creating a new system (the current one Arena.net wants to add) and remove it later to fix it (because if they want to fix it, there should not be tonics or entire costume sets).

Videoboy have you spent 100$ buying 5 town clothes to mix and match them and create your proper unique town clothes ? I don’t think so.

Because now, players who did that will have no use of what we bought, because we bought town clothes to mix and match them, not to equip the entire costume set (we don’t like it).

And don’t speak about refund because we don’t want refund, we just don’t want to lose something we can do since the release.
And even if we want refund, we will not have refund for every town clothes we bought (like the pirate costume : we will not use it anymore because we can’t mix and match) but just for tonics.

Bonefield has a pretty good understanding here of why some mix and match is not easy at all. Some armor and clothing combinations are fundamentally not mixable, (for more than just clipping reasons)

We can already do really bad and ugly combinations with actual armors, so I don’t see what’s the problem if we can do it with armors and town clothes too.

Yes, a refund will not resolve our problems here.

We want to be able to mix and match like it is today.

Plus, they would not refund the other town clothes like the pirate one. But, we will have no use of it after this pack comes out because we bought it only for some pieces to create our proper town clothes. We don’t care of the entire sets !

Hi, I’m a french player (sorry for the spelling mistakes) and I can say that I’m really disappointed by this new town clothes system.

I spent a lot of real money in this cash shop to get some pieces of thoses clothes and make my proper personnal town clothes.

Now I would not be abble to do this anymore and I would never wear my town clothes anymore because I hate them as entire sets. So I spent my money for something which is going to be removed, great…

Please Arena.net don’t do that and reconcider it ! We want to still be abble to mix and match !
