Agreed. It’s already a huge time sink. Feels like it was just fine when you could repeat the track. WvW feels a little pointless once you complete the reward track.
Haven’t logged into the forums in years, but I did today just to say LEAVE IT THE WAY IT IS NOW. I like WvW and I like to feel like I’m getting rewarded.

Are we supposed to get the preorder gem bonus immediately like we do with the rest of the bonuses? I preordered the big boy addition and I never got the 4k gems.

Just turn on auto loot as recommended. I’ve been getting badges for days and haven’t had any problem.
kill the warriors and dont let them run into rezz range. problem solved.
when they run with stabi and endure pain simply use daze skills on them while they cast the banner and kill them when EP ran out..
Considering warriors can have 3 different sources of stability and condition immunity, you’d need 3 necros and a lot of other cc just to stop one warrior.
Sad thing is it would only take like 5 organized warriors and they could completely stop you from ever capping the keep even with a 50 man zerg.
It already has a lot more health and its a lot tougher in eotm, but bannering it makes it impossible to attack a keep that isnt nearly undefended. You should only be able to hard res these keep lords to balance out their increased health and damage.
I’ve been having this happen A LOT. I’ve problem missed over 20 towers, 10 keeps, 2 SMs and an uncountable amount of camps because of this bug over the last 2 months. Its extremely frustrating and disappointing especially when you’ve spent money on wvw boosters. I plan on not buying anymore wvw boosters until this is fixed.
This just happened to me again. I noticed that even though I was standing in the circle, the dynamic event window never popped up prompting me that I was actually part of an event.
Over five times in the last week I’ve not gotten event completion(wxp, karma, exp, and coin) for capping SM, keeps, and towers. I definitely should be getting credit considering I’m standing in the circle, got a loot bag for the keep/tower lord, killed several players, and killed several guards. Nothing pops up on my screen and the keep/tower flips. Its extremely frustrating to capture SM with a birthday booster up and not get ANY credit.
I know this just isnt happening to me because I’ve seen several other players complain about it after the event is over and I can see they are standing in the circle.
The cannon fire seems to be doing 35k or some damage to golems at the moment. Is that intended? Has that always been that way? Is this a bug or something?
During the boss fight against Liadri the concealing darkness if you try to attack the cosmic rifts you’ll always get obstructed on your ranged attacks. This will happen when using rifles, pistols, and bows. When you try to shoot at it your guy will aim at the ground even though the cosmic rift is floating several feet off the ground. It appears that the rifts hit box might actually be under the ground.
This is extremely frustrating to deal with in this fight. If this is working as intended let me know, but it seems like a bug.
Yes this is the most annoying thing in the fight. I’d have done it a long time ago if i didn’t stand there shooting at it and dying.

Why would you be wearing MF gear in WvW anyways?
Some of the new ascended gear has like 4% mf on it … the all stats mf gear. So you’d get 20% from that, 10% from guild mf buff, 10% from MF BANNER, and if you wanted to use boon duration food another 40%. Plus theres also that necklace utility infusion for 20%.
There was a debate about this in general chat in lions arch and I wasn’t really sure what the answer was. The dev quotes point to different answers.

Its probably a good thing you weren’t around for halloween.
My dancing dagger will cancel sometimes when I’m using it versus big groups of risen. I’ve noticed that almost 100% of the time I get immobilized and then it cancels. I also believe I’m usually moving when the immobilize hits me, which could be related.
There should be no way for it to cancel considering I always have the stability still on and projectiles shouldn’t be able to hit me.
I have 82/83 achievements completed under the achievement panel, but when I check inside the hints window its ALL completed.

Maybe it doesn’t cleanse any conditions if the shout you are applying contains boons that your character is already effected by.
Another theory….
Maybe shouting while in the middle of a cast has no effect on the conditions. For instance casting renewed focus and shouting at the same time will have no effect.
The second one looks like artifacting.

Malfunction may be caused by physical damage, overheating, insufficient voltage (sometimes due to GPU overclocking), etc. Common types of hardware artifacts are texture corruption and T-vertices in 3D graphics, and pixelization in MPEG compressed video.
I’ve had this happen many times with past computers and its usually due to overheating.
When doing the normal dungeons(not fractals), I haven’t been getting credit towards the achievement. This appears to occur when you are from a different server then the group leader is. I’ve completed over 10 dungeons without any credit because I’m from maguuma and the leader is from tarnished coast.
I should mention it happens often enough where I can count several occurrences in one dungeon run.
The guardian trait “Pure of Voice” in the trait line honor sometimes doesn’t remove conditions when I cast a shout. I’m not really sure about why its not working, but I’ve noticed this happening quite often. I’m curious if maybe it shares a hidden cooldown with weapon proc abilities like superior sigil of energy and so on.
I believe this is also occuring when warriors try a similiar shout build, but I’m not absolutely positive on that one.
edit: just tested it and it works fine after switching and gaining the endurance from superior sigil of energy

Well if they just simply make AoE only hit 5 ppl and 5 ppl only like most boons / support skills i think they will get a good handle on the AoE vs single target skills.
Already works that way. Siege isn’t limited in that fashion though.
Last night I saw first hand the crazy power of AoE that Anet seems to be worried about. We (Dragonbrand) were attacking Anz tower in EBG and they (Maguuma) seemed to have maybe 4-5 people only inside defending. When we breached the wall and got to the stairs, we were hit by a massive surprise attack. The stairs were a choke point and they were simply painted with a blur of particle effects. There must have been a good 50 of us in the zerg and most of us were killed right there in the opening seconds. The rest were scattered, fleeing off the walls and back through the wall opening. Maguuma had held their 50+ zerg at the top of the tower and waited to dump 50+ AoE’s on our heads at the choke. I’m not sure how I feel about this. It seems like a legit strategy, but realistically how do attackers have a hope of dealing with it?
Anet’s problem seems to come from the scaling of the zerg. Individual performance is laughable sometimes (Rangers and necros lol) but added together it just becomes a kittenstorm.
Was part of the maguuma squad that pulled this off last night. We had a very organized group that planned this strategy well ahead of time. Knowing you would only have one way up because you were destroying your only other way up we set up 1 catapult and 4 superior arrow carts. The next step was we had about 5 to 8 elementalists change to staff and drop a ton of air 5 stun fields and water 4 chill fields to slow you down. It was a hilarious moment in mumble when you all started to die. In the end most of the work was done by arrow carts.
We were all cracking up as about 30 loot bags piled up at our feet. Also a guardian tossed down one of those staff 5 walls on the ramp going up so only about 1 guy got by. Eventually we were wiped because tanky people ran up and started disrupting us. Staff eles are just so kitten weak single target or against moving targets we just couldnt deal with a couple tanky people.

I just want more jump puzzles not necessarily longer ones. That said, I’ve absolutely loved all the jump puzzles so far, ESPECIALLY the clock tower. Took about 30 minutes to 45 minutes before I could do it in 1-3 tries.
It seems like the magic is really missing from armor dyes. I’ve been collecting all the armor dyes I can, but I’m really not sure how close I am to getting them all.
I think adding an achievement under fashion for getting all the armor dyes would add a good way to track our armor dye progression.
I’ve had this happen before too and I believe it has to do with falling damage. I’ve teleported to a way point and ended up there dead.
I found the same issue except with on swap sigils.
I’m using sigil of hydromancy, which freezes when you switch weapons and sigil of energy which gives you 50% endurance. I have the hydro in my main hand sword and sigil of energy in my shield. Now the energy sigil in my shield no longer works because I believe they share a 9 second cooldown.
Sometimes my weapon swap will grey out even and not be usable with the default ~ key. When that happens I have to go into the hero panel and manually click the swap button to fix it.
If it is for halloween we probably wouldn’t know about it until later this month.
My legs have never shown correctly. =(
The heavy armor legs from TA don’t dye correctly compared to other pieces of my armor. You can see in the screenshot what its supposed to look like on my hero panel and then what it really looks like in the world. Not sure if other players see it the way I do, but its pretty annoying. It basically takes whatever dye you put on it and amplifies the brightness by a factor of five or something along those lines.
So far I only have the heavy legs from twilight arbor so other versions might be messed up too, but this post is about the legs.
Sidenote: I did transmute the legs from crafted armor and I’m not sure if that has anything to do with it.
