Great change, came way to late though.

Complaining about the economy because the Queensdale train is no more is a little silly as the economy is pretty much controlled by the Trading Post manipulators and Gold Sellers.

Complaining that leveling is slow without the train shows you have obviously been killing the same 4 mobs over and over for far too long as the trains were probably the least efficient way of leveling.

Complaining the loss of the Queensdale train affects players ability to function in a team work orientated environment is quite right. Means you’ll just have to move to the WvW to learn how to follow a little blue tag with the rest of the zerg.

In the end it means players will migrate to higher level zones or WvW like it was intended, the economy will remain in the hands of manipulators and gold sellers , WvW will still be a total zergfest, necro melee minions will STILL be broken and the starter area will be ghost towns inhabited by copper ore salvage kit users and the tiny influx of new players.

I’m sure players will find somewhere else to farm those coloured 4-slot bags

Around £60-£70 on gems over 1 year 9 months, so decent investment for the amount of enjoyment. That would be £170ish plus money for expansions if I was playing one of the sub based MMO’s.

3. Large Interesting World
4. Using DAoC RvRvR system (though it could do with a lot of improvements)
5. Leveling (pre 15th April 2014 patch)

Worst

1. WvWvW rewards zerg mentality too much. Terrible implementation of point system in WvWvW. Outnumbered buff should be useful and not what is currently is.
2. Jumping Puzzles or Trading Post manipulators (both equally annoying)
3. Awful crafting system.
4. Personal story is not personal if it requires a group.
5. Mega-servers.

Just don’t buy the frozen wasp axe one if it’s ever available again , it annoyingly freezes you in place too when harvesting.

Noticed a large increase in temp too, running GTX770 with waterblock.

Edit: My other PC with a GTX 650 Ti does crash occasionally after the April 15th due to overheating GPU (yes I clean it regularly), if I play too long on it.

It’s an okay buff if you like killing mobs to level with a very ‘slight’ chance at better loot in a WvW environment.

What it should do is remove all loot rewards and a huge reduction to WXP from killing members/capping keeps of the World who are outnumbered.

It’ll never change though, so better off moving to a more populated server or just do PVE.

Just dusted off my warrior after spending time with my Necro and Ranger. Since they were both focused on damage I decided to go a tank/heal type on my Warrior. Shield/Axe, second set is dual maces as a test

Not a great build since it was done for as cheap as I could. In 1 vs 1 (when I was able to dodge the zergs) I was unkillable due to the amount of healing and damage reduction. The battles lasted too long due to the terrible damage output, some fights we both just gave up, bowed and went our separate ways

In zergs i’m usually the last one standing, happens all the time now we’re matched with two heavily populated servers.

High survivability, great in some group fights, abysmal damage. Trying a new build later, swapping shouts for banners and stances for more group/zerg support.

I’m more interested why my pets take a reduction in hitpoints when going to WvW from a level 80 zone…… usually my cat/wolf have 25k hp in PvE and 14k in WvW? Why? I can’t remember there being a nerf, maybe it was during my 8 month break, oh well.

They already take the LONG way to the target and it’s usually dead in 2 hits before getting even halfway to the target, so nerfing their damage was a wasted effort

P.S. Necro melee minions are also still broken

Usually when it comes to large patches in every MMO it’s usually around European or Australian prime time

Will most likely introduce numerous problems too, so be prepared to play something else for the next few days/weeks

I too bought the game (pre-order) before launch and am very happy with my purchase. Am I bothered new players get more stuff? Not really.

But (you knew a but was coming didn’t you), out of pure curiosity, could a new player or a friend of a new player ask them to roll a Necromancer and see if their melee minions attack? If they do then i’ll be totally kittened off that they get that with new half priced copies.

Thinking Arenanet would fix necromancer minions.

So, when Arenanet acknowledge that no-one wants Rangers in their dungeon runs and add Ranger ONLY soloable dungeon runs with the same rewards, we’ll be hated even more……. oh well, kitten !

They nerfed minions a few months back when they made melee minions only attack 1% of the time.

After repeated attempts and met with bugs, disconnects and server crashes I’ve come to the conclusion: Don’t bother with Lion’s Arch or any similar events in the future.

I’d settle for minions that actually attacked……

Hi, I looked through the first 15 or so pages of this section of the forum and could not find an answer to my query.

If I bought an Armour Skin set from the Gem Store am I limited to the amount of times I can ‘reskin’ my armour?
The character i’m playing and plan on buying the skin for is only in it’s 30’s, so could I reskin every upgrade I get with Transmutation Stones/Crystals?
Can I use the normal Transmutation Stones/Crystals (ie Stones for level 1 to 79 and Crystals for level 80)?

Wow, didn’t know the Trading Post was run on the same servers as the forums. You may want to see about changing that in the future if you make enough money selling gems on the Trading Post

Wouldn’t bother signing upto Twitter, they haven’t even posted anything about the Trading Post in over 9 hours, they’re like every other MMO developer.

As soon as I realised during my ‘PERSONAL Story’ quest that I would be forced into grouping for the final PERSONAL story mission I decided I won’t even bother doing any more PERSONAL quests on any of my characters.

If it is one thing I hate most in any game it is being forced into something, and being forced into grouping to complete my PERSONAL story is…. mind boggling. I just wished i’d realised this before actually getting to the final PERSONAL story mission.

Don’t get me wrong, I have no problem grouping up with others and have done so on many occasions, but being forced into it….. no thanks.

I suggest you move the final PERSONAL story mission into a solo instance, hell, I beat a dragon with 4 abilities on Claw Island, i’m sure I could beat another Dragon with 5 or 6 abilities with the help of NPC’s who wander off into walls and get stuck.

Oh well, won’t be crafting in this MMO either. Least i’ll have plenty of bank space now and no need to expand it with gems

So, another MMO with a poorly implemented crafting system. Oh well, least I can sell all my stored mats now and not have to buy gems to expand my bank slots

Oranges and Chocolate bars have been removed from vendors. Any ETA on when I can carry on cooking?
