“Much obliged, friend!” It wasn’t from this game cough Wildstar cough, but still funny as hell because you could hear it throughout the entire zone / map it happened in.
Atros, do you plan on purchasing the expansion?
I’ve often wondered why the in game mail system doesn’t have a COD (cash on delivery) feature. Granted I understand the rationale for having the Black Market fees since they’re another money sink to remove currency (gold) from the economy.
Still, a feature such as this if implemented in a meaningful way – like available once per (insert reasonable number of uses within a given time frame – once per x hour period, x number of times / day) – wouldn’t necessarily trivialize the Black Lion fees. And it would offer an alternate, safe secure way to trade high value items with other players.
Our guild, of roughly 5 active players (all real life friends), were discussing in TS the various features of the upcoming expansion. Specifically, guild halls. One of my friends was of the mind that “You won’t need the expansion to access the guild hall once it’s released. ArenaNet will make it available to those who don’t have the expansion”. While, one of my other friends replied “Uh, no, I don’t think that’s how the expansion will work. You’ll need to buy it to have access to the guild hall feature”.
It seemed self-evident to a couple of us in TS that the expansion would be required to access any of the upcoming features. Would someone be able to offer an official comment on this?
Cheers.
You could check the orrian chest near the champion risen wizard in The Cursed Shores. It’s due west of Caer Shadowfain waypoint. Chances are good the area will be mostly cleared of enemies and easy to access. It’s where I got the Golden Ball Ornament for the collection.
M: Ah. I’d like to have an argument, please.
R: Certainly sir. Have you been here before?
M: No, I haven’t, this is my first time.
R: I see. Well, do you want to have just one argument, or were you thinking of taking a course?
M: Well, what is the cost?
R: Well, It’s one pound for a five minute argument, but only eight pounds for a course of ten.
M: Well, I think it would be best if I perhaps started off with just the one and then see how it goes.
R: Fine. Well, I’ll see who’s free at the moment.
Pause
R: Mr. DeBakey’s free, but he’s a little bit conciliatory.
Ahh yes, Try Mr. Barnard; room 12.
M: Thank you.
My first character choice was a male Norn Engineer. I pull him out from time to time if I’m looking for a change from my main – a male Human Elementalist.
I thought it would be fun to play a race / class combo that wasn’t exactly the typical choice. On top of that he has a Nick Fury vibe going with the monocle headpiece covering one eye, and, a slightly darker (ie. tanned) skin colour.
If I was a furry I’d ask her out on a date.
…clap your hands!! If you’re terrible at MMO’s clap your hands!! If you’re terrible and you know it and your face is going to show it. If you’re terrible and you know it…….clap your hands!
Maybe someone could make a ‘Quaggan of the Month’ calendar. I’m sure it would sell reasonably well.
