My elementalist, Apone Kaos, story for Victory or Death was reset after I did the “Crack in the Ice” story. I got a weird message from your scribe in my contacts saying my story was fixed, but it set me back in my original story on that character. I tried to send a bug for it over 2 weeks ago, but this wasn’t fixed. I am attaching a screenie of the message that was sent to me and the storyline reset.

Issue 1 on Torn – My guardian is now stuck in the tutorial for ‘establishing a foothold’ and, is stuck on the other side of HOT in the Silverwaste without an HOT waypoint.

My main character Apone Falls has been effectively locked out of HOT by an update yesterday. I was just finishing the “Torn” instance to crossover and clicked the leave dungeon button. The update kicked me out of the game and when I came back on my guardian was stuck in the Silverwastes in the “Establishing” tutorial. There is no button to leave the tutorial and the gateway from the Silverwastes thru to Verdant Brink is X’d out. The tutorial tells me to return the HOT jungle to learn my glider basics. I am effectively locked out of any storyline material and HOT.

I left guardian and switched to my necromancer and almost didn’t make it thru the “Torn” instance again. I had to do the instance twice on my necromancer. I purposely killed her after the instance got stuck without a ‘leave’ button. Fortunately, upon killing your character in the ‘Torn’ instance it allows you to go to verdant brink, so my necro made it. I then went back to the Silverwastes on my necro and tried the “Torn” instance again. I will tell you why I couldn’t complete “Torn” on my necro the first time, in case, anyone else has this problem.

Issue 2 on Torn – Turrets storyline, 2nd green circle and npc are slow or sometimes don’t trigger and allow you to continue the storyline

If you choose to work on the turrets part of the “Torn” storyline when you go to the second green circled area for the turret, ignore the silvari the dragon is trying to take over and run up to the green circle, stand up in the green circle until the very slow npc triggers and says there is nothing of use there. This will get the green circle to go away and, you can then address the sylvari issue. If you do not go to this green circle right away, you may get stuck in the instance like I did where the npc doesn’t react at all and, you are not able to make progress on the turrets.
