Okay…. I dont think you did get my point; I am a casual player…

I dont have 5 lvl80 characters waiting to get equiped with exotics.
I dont have the space and any use for harvesting tools (which could NOT be stacked).
I dont have dozens of fine T stones to do as u suggest.

Furthermore someoneelse was right, Lynn got removed, so those boxes are really useless now since those “commendations” for the guild stuff are items of their own kind.

They didn’t say -anything- regarding removing keys from Lionguard Lynne. She happily spammed the chat every 3 seconds telling everyone to come donate, they kept the recipe in the game while she was disabled. So you could actually create commendations while keys weren’t available to purchase.

Of course if ANET had come out and stated they didn’t intend to sell keys again, people wouldn’t have created thousands of these things with no where to spend them. There was nothing to replace the keys when Lynne came back and your only options were to spend them on worthless items or worthless skins that are kinda fugly.

One of the many dumb and disrespectful decisions ANET has been doing lately. Think it’s time to find a new game for me.

This and to complete the questions: Even as a casual player it was really easy to obtain those 250 boxes. You just needed 3g to trade 3 exotic trinkets and you could get 50 boxes via the forge.

I dont complain about the gold loss; it was a gamble – although it was a really unfair decision to take out the keys without further notice by Anet – BUT I complain about NO option left for those commendations (as u can see my dilemma in the first post)

Btw.: Since I cant salvage the items I doubt I can throw them into the forge either. Anyone tested this so far?

I am just a casual gamer – I only play GW2 for the dailys (laurels) few times a week – and now I am asking A-net:

You removed the BlackLionKeys from Lyn – You announced she will disappear with the next patch – So what to do with 250 Boxes of Commendations aka 250×50 = 12500 Commendations?

I mean; every option I get is kitten

1. Salvage Tools? Which I cant stack? So I can buy 1000 + of those items which I will never be able to use/finish in my whole GW2-career and which will only block the whole inventory?
2. Rare/Exotic weapons? Which I also wont use and which you cant even salvage? So another great option to fill my inventory with things I cant use?

Since you always say you care so much about the casuals and people who dont grind/play your game hardcore, tell me; what are the options for those with left over commendations?

I currently had an uncomfortable experience with some players in Fotm.

Long story short; their strategy didnt work 5 times, we tried mine and it worked from the spot – they kept argueing and one insisted that this would work everytime but bcs of me -for whatever reason- it didnt…

At the end of the run I could only read smth about “you […] bad player […] noob […]” before I got kicked. So this one player wrote a long text to insult me and kicked me instantly with his guild mates and I couldnt even read it properly -.-" . Chatlog was gone (thats why I cant remember much except those keywords above) and now I was wondering:

Is it safe to report someone for insulting when I can not provide a chatlog?

Bcs there is a nice red text when you want to report someone, telling you that your account can get suspended for false reports and that those reports are reviewed by GMs on the basis of the chatlog.
I would like to have an answer before I have to explain the account support that the chatlog which proves that someone insulted me disappeared bcs for some unknown reason the whole teamchat gets erased when u leave or get kicked from the party.

It has come to my attention that crafting the infused backpieces is currently a mayor waste of ressources and in one case even totally in vain.

Let me just list some numbers to make it more obvious.

For any infused Backpiece I need at least:

Books/Quivers (infused = +5 agony res basic stat)
- 250 T6 Material
- 50 + 250 ectos
- 500 fractal relics
(I wont mention the random drops bcs they are easy to obtain just by grinding for the 500 fractal relics)

-> +5 agony res = 250 T6 material + 300 ectos?
Currently 300 ectos mean ~110g… so u expect me to invest more or less 200g for +5 agony res?

Now lets discuss the (currently totally useless) infused Fractal Capacitor which does not only take the waste of gold to a whole new level but also the waste of fractal relics.

Infused Beta(!) Fractal Capacitor requires:

- 1850 relics for the basic version with slot
- to make it infused + another 500 relics and +250 ectos (I wont mention the random drops again bcs after getting that much relics you should definetly have them by now)

-> 2350 relics and 250 ectos in total for +5 agony res?

And now what confuses me most: The FRACTAL CAPACITOR (infused) <- not Beta

- another 250 ectos + 500 relics for… um… nothing? The same +5 agony res the Beta Version already has? So u want me to grind 2850 relics and 500 ectos for a glowing item with + 5 agony res?

I know its hard to make some changes in an already running system bcs there will be always people who cry afterwards that they invested so much and are uncomfortable with the idea to adjust the requirements for the items they worked so hard on BUT at least in the last case of the Fractal Capacitor there is an obvious need for a change. There is no logic or reason behind the idea of this item; it gives the same amount of agony res like the beta version and you pay 500 relics + 250 ectos for “glowing”?

So my question is simple:

Are there any plans to change smth. regarding the requirements for those items or should I come in terms with the idea of never getting any of those items bcs I will never invest 200g for +5 agony res?
