They can nerf the damage if they wish, it wont change anything. Decent DH wont just use the trap mindlessley to damage you, they’ll use it to mess up your rotation, deny stomps/rezzes, Force you to use your dodges/CD’s. With Longbow we have great damage close and far.

The Trap will be used to mess up your rotation and force you to blow your CD’s/Dodges so you have to facetank our Damage.

Ps. if you’re a Guard pls use the traps to deny Engi/Rev Blocks (combined with f1 skill) and heals/stomps/rezzes etc..

In my Opinion:

Supply crate should spawn 5 RC Explosive cars that explode on impact with an enemy (Player or non player) doing 25.000damage on impact, unblockable/Can’t be Evaded.

Once one the RC cars explode, it condenses into 5 smaller RC Cars doing 25k damage Each, This process continues untill 900 Seconds has passed.

You had some of your skills bound to keys, why click? took you soooo long to use the skills :<

Theys Pros and Con’s to this, Playing with people far more experienced than you while frustrating to Loose vs them sometimes even get dominated by them, It teaches you a lot of things, Eg. NOT to go for NPC straight from the get go. Learning what engagements you should get in and which ones to avoid and do something else.

If you stayed with the same skilled players it’ll be harder to improve. as you don’t need to think about what you do, as in every match the thief will probably run on point and tank every piece of AoE the team has to offer and rise and repeat.

I went through the same thing and it made me a better player I’m Rank80 and been since after April 15th, but rank doesn’t always mean skilled i’ve played vs and with same ranked guys who seem to have just started the game. wasting Dodges on Auto attacks and then face tank their burst as they were so easily baited to dodge roll.

Mesmer/Thief have similar difficulty levels, anyone can play them but being good at them is hard, Learning how to kite people, learn Blink/Phase retreat/Shadow step spots.
and most of all learn how to avoid damage and when to engage/Disengage.

Ranger seems to be the runt of the litter, a Skill mesmer/thief will go vs a skilled ranger and win vs the ranger. Unless the ranger Builds complete Tank/Condi where a mesmer/thief would just walk away form the fight as it’d be boring.

Mesmers has a completely different play style as a normal class, you need to implement you Shatter skills (f1 f2 f3 f4) into your rotation for damage spikes. Eg. Great sword 2, wait for clone to spawn, then f1 Does a good amount of damage, especially in WvW/Spvp It’ll usually force squishy targets to use Cooldowns/Heal or even panic and blow everything if you get a nice crit+weapons Procs. PvE Wise people would prefer a Mesmer in a group than a Thief/Ranger in my opinion.

Thief probably the better/Fun Roamer

Ranger will get out classed by these both

You can Block Raw damage, you can’t block Condi it ticks through your shield! SHIELD NEED BUFF. NO1 CARES ABOUT SHIELD!

As for a PvP aspic having F1 and F2 skills with no CD is Overpowered… For a GC shatter spec and a Condition spec. F3 combined with halting strike is a force to be reckoned with and having the CD “reduced greatly” will further drive mesmers beyond OP.

even with shattering 1 clone at a time. Mirror Blade + Mind Wrack does ALOT of damage to squishy targets specially with Crit + weapon Proc(air/fire or both)+ Illusionary Persona, Adding Deceptive evasion, and all the other clone abilities you can just barrage people with clones continently

I’ve had no problems Phase retreating from the ramp onto the window ledge, i failed once but i think you have to go further down the ramp than usual, Join a empty hot join server and find the sweet spot again.

Engi stealth. Magnet pulls, GG. Then say we don’t know how to approach it? I assume by approach you mean, play a gay class with a gay build to win and feel remotely skilled because in one map you can 1v1 people far better skilled than you due to stealth/pull/fear/knock back wins? PvP in my opinion is pretty good, i enjoy it. Theys obviously some BS moments that happen like in any game E.g 4v5’s unbalanced comps. but overall good.

Just alot of crying on forums which is the vocal minority. just a l2p issue, know when you should engage and disengage from a fight don’t play as a 1 man army.
