Guild Wars 2

I started playing Guild Wars 2 from the first stress test. The game tightened me. Thanks to the combat system, incredible graphics quality, living world (quest system) and of course large-scale battles for castles in WvW. It was indescribably cool at that moment.

But a year has passed. Then another half. I went through all the dungeons. (My favorite dungeons until today remains Crucible of Eternity). Fully explored the world of Tyria. Finally I got tired to go through all the same dungeons.

Since I have tried many other projects. I played Firefall with a very complex crafting system and resource extraction. I played Neverwinter, and recently I tried ArcheAge (that contributed me to write this post). I didn’t found myself in all these projects.

But GW2 I like almost everything. The only thing it lacks is content. All these endless Events can’t compensate large raid content for example hike on the dragon like in: Sparkfly Glen (Tequatl the Sunless) or ice Dragon like in: Frostgorge Sound (Claw of Jormag). I mean not just the zerg the dragons as it is happening now. But going to the dragons which would be coped with a specific purpose (reward) as Raid or something. So I could gather people from the guild (or LFG) and direct them.

Summarize the above: I suggest add a great Raid content. Like the Finall Boss battle in Personal Story.

The main issue is that there are no specific Russian servers, and this could be a rather major issue with people using Cyrillic letters on European servers.

I don’t ask developers to make a Russian servers (I personally will never go there, no any case), I just request to add only a set of language packs – Cyrillic alphabet. Thats all.

Let me explain in which cases I will use the Cyrillic alphabet.

• Communicate with guild members (Guild, Party chat)
• Recruiting (map chat)

For example: “GuildName” is recruiting more people for PvE/WvW/sPvP. We are Russian-speaking guild.

Don’t you think its stupid?

And I’m sure that nobody (at least I) could write in Cyrillic for LFG. Because it is absurd. (thank you gw2lfg.com)

My guild speaks Russian. Communicate with them in the Latin alphabet is not so comfortable for me. During the events without voice communication is not possible, but being constantly in teamspeak is unacceptable for me, because I want to listen to music while playing, I can talk on Skype and more, more…
And therefore I want to offer the game developers to add the Cyrillic alphabet.

Here is a list of languages that uses Cyrillic alphabet:

National languages of:

• Bulgaria
• Bosnia and Herzegovina
• Belarus
• Kazakhstan (where I’m from)
• Kyrgyzstan
• Macedonia
• Mongolia
• Montenegro
• Russia (Russia is not the only one who uses this alphabet, but is the dominant)
• Serbia
• Tajikistan
• Ukraine

I don’t think that this is some sort of difficulty. I don’t mean that you guys have to Russify game, but only add to the game Cyrillic.

I would be extremely grateful if you guys even plan to add this in the game. This will allow me to play the game more comfortable.

But what do you think of this?
Whether it will somehow interfere with other players who is not using the Cyrillic alphabet?

Function of announcement of a global event by mail or some any other way that in a location are about to start (the dragon, boss, etc.) it would be so convenient.

Otherwise PvE component of Guild Wars 2 ends on spaming “LFG….” in Lion Arch

Jumping on the global map, location by location on the fact that you come across on the event isn’t convenient

Such a situation at the end of the dungeon I disconnected and when I came into the game last boss was killed and I didn’t get tokens.

Is it possible on such situation I will get tokens by mail?
