Keep in mind the following :

1- I’ve never played d/d ele, only staff ele and even zele aka not support if you’re familiar with VR and Duke’s zelex :P so basically it’s nuke em !
2- I need a build that’s good for roaming in WvW, as I don’t like spvp nor tpvp
3- I’ve classes that I roam with so I’m familiar with other classes actions and reactions and you know basic how to roam etc
4- just need a training wheel build that’s forgiving and allow some mistakes till I stand on my feet
5- is d/d the way to go ? what about s/f

Sorry too many questions .. or please refer me to a bunker/training wheel build that still viable !

traits seem decent. I recommend elemental shielding over stone splinters but both are viable. Clerics is bad with signet because the healing power multiplier for signet doesnt scale well. Your crit chance is also extremely low and even when running zephyrs boon it is far too low (aim for 25% ATLEAST). Swap some of the clerics for knights and you have yourself a build. Staff roaming isn’t viable because of the lack of mobility/protection and the fact that the majority of the damage is ground targetting(easily avoidable). Roaming should have dagger offhand minimum for rtl and seeing as how crit damage got nerfed, fresh air isnt that viable anymore. D/d is the way to go.

I totally agree with the OP, it’s like forced condi ! not like WvW already infested with condi baddies mesmers,thieves etc .. anyways !

I managed to finish my condi necro, now working on my warrior and going through all my characters .. gonna be a condi fest ! :P

I need suggestions/advise regarding a good LB conid build, I’ve some questions :

1- why ptv not dire, isn’t dire better ?
2- lb is essential we done from that about the 2nd weapon why hammer instead of s/s or s/w or whatever
3- the traits you said 0 0 30 10 30 is that standard how about the increase bleeding traits etc or any other viable traits
4- please help with weapon rotation

lol this build and condition builds are completely different you can’t mix them together, again this build is power not condition, that’s why it’s PTV, that’s why it’s 0 0 30 10 30.

Indeed. You make it sound useless but it is not, well how much useless it is may depend on how you use your second character. Personally i do not have ascended, so if i ever get it it will be after the patch; and if i had the chance i would get a Zerk set for all my characters (and that’s more than two). I guess that if i had something like a perma bank acess directly from my inventory maybe i wouldn’t do it.

It’s not you only, most if not all going to have one set with same stats across all characters unless you’re lazy deranged or no life player to go for another set with same stat.

Anyways going to post this in the correct forum since almost no clue in here, hope to get an answer from a dev or something.

It looks like you got my point, I hope they give us an option to choose or refund or whatever but I doubt it, having 2 account bound ascended sets with same stats is just useful !! :P

I’m new to the game just bought it 2 weeks ago, my question about runes, I’m running full berserk, and not sure what runes I should use, since I’m new and on a budget I had to read what people say, some say most of the runes are bugged, so my question, what runes I should go ?

1- Scholar Runes seems nice but are they :
1- bugged
2- do you recommend getting it, if not what do you recommend ?
3- should I only get 5/6 since 90% seems a bit tricky lol

I managed to slay this bugger by asking for help in Lion’s Arch, a kind soul came and help me, we ranged him to death.

Now I’m about to finish the story, going very smooth even the Dragon Champion managed him with ease, I still think this guy need fixing.

So if you’re stuck with this guy, just ask for a hand in LA or ask a guild mate if you’re in a guild.

Edit : Please don’t force players in grouping for many reasons :
1- player don’t like grouping
2- can’t get party together
3- a year after launch it’s not easy to get players together
4- specially story line quests should be solo friendly

I’m doing great now and about finish but when I logged-out I saw lots of complains about Victory or Death I hope it’s not another stuck.

This quest should be called No-Fee Games Drawback ! been a month since the report and still in the queue! and it’s a major fix for players who want to finish their story !
