You can literally run anything in PvE and still succeed! The amount of PvE elitism is just so hilarious when PvE itself is a joke! I’ve run pretty much every build imaginable in Fractals 50, what’s supposed to be the hardest PvE dungeon in the game, and I’ve still beaten it in a decent time!

Anyway I find this build to be my favorite Flamethrower build! Many might and fury for the team!

Thanks for the information, I’ll give a try to your build. Since I have no group for dungeons and fractals, I stick to events, and I find using a FT to be extremelly fun for the mid range and rifle for approaching/long range.

FT as main source of dps is bad idea for PvE even after numerous buffs FT is still worst dps kit like 3 times worse. In general pve its doesnt matter too much but you cant take this into dungeon.
You can eventualy have FT as part of rotation for mightstack and flame blast dmg but its very clunky skill.

I have tried the Bomb build for PvE, but it seems it is mostly for Dungeons, which I have no group to run with, So I stick to world events and some random PvP/WvW (for which I use a different Build). trying to stand near most world bosses while wearing Zerker is like trying to protect yourself from a bullet using a piece of paper.

Hi all,
I’m old to the game, but never put much thought into the game as of late, I have been trying min/max my build I decided I LOVE the Flamethrower kit over any other kit. So I went and spent all my gold into crafting a Berserker gear. I would love to get your advice on this build. As this is the closest to what I have right now.
I chose the FT/Elixir combo as they seem to synergize really well, plus I can buff people around me and cleanse them.

Please let me know your thoughts and advice on how to improve it. (i’m terrible at figuring out which gear to use, Assasin’s, Berserker, Celestial)

Not sure why they cant just say if it is a bug or intended. the highest I got was a lvl 20 green.

So is this a joke from anet? we get 5 loot bag that have level 20 gear for completing our personal story? Is this intended or a bug?, if its a bug will players that completed it get another 5 bags with loot that do have at least lvl 70-80 gear that we can use?

1. I already noticed it and I’m not sure this is a bug but I’ll add it.

3. I’m not sure this is a bug either, from the Guild Wars 2 wiki Stability: Ignore control effects and doesn’t list crippled in the effects ignored but I’ll add it as well.

Stability description from the spell tool tip ingame says it prevents chilled and cripple both slows.

You might want to add these three, the Jugggernaut perk bug really annoy me since we already pay a 50% selfcripple to have stability, yet I’m still getting crippled debuff is added and cripple animation triggers.

1. normal weapons and its sigils are not giving any stat when a kit is equiped.
2. Flame Blast will get “obstructed” almost every time if used in a target you just blew away with Air Blast, the idea of our combo is to blow them away then hit flame blast while they are at range for the explosion. I have tested it in different places it fails no matter my position. I know that there is absolutely nothing in the way since its an empty field. (note that it will get “obstructed” only if used right away after using Air blast, seems to bug when the npc is performing the animation of standing up after been knocked away)

3. Stability from the juggernaut perk seems to be broken, even though it says I cannot be cripple, chilled, knocked bacl, pushed, or launched. I’m still getting crippled, I see my character moving slower than usual and the animation for your crippled character.

I have been playing my engi since release all the way to 80, and I have seen a few bugs that should have been addressed already, but in case you dont have them listed here they are:

1. Weapon kits auto-attack is disabled, every time I switch to my flamethrower I have to manually enable it.
2. not getting any bonus from weapon stats while having a kit equipped. if intended so i guess weapons are just useless for us? we are at a huge loss in stats here compared to other classes.
3. sigils in weapons are not giving the bonus or procs they have, again if intended we are at a loss here.
4. the first two bugs must be fixed as soon as possible as they are the most annoying.
