Defeat the Svanir hunters before they kill all the owls quest has nothing to do with any of that, once this part of the quest starts the shaman and his totem are irrelivent. the problem is the two quests are mixed up, the defeat jormags minion quest rewards the trophy for the hunters quest so we assume the hunter quest awards the jormag minion trophy but it dosent.
Ive done every single quest in both chains several times and have not received the owl spirit trophy.

The shamen builds his totem and the next event starts where you have to kill the hunters, you kill the hunters and get credit for the quest but you dont get the owl spirit trophy, ive done the event twice and both times i didnt get it and neither did the other 5 people all wasting their lives for this “fun” game mechanic.

Youre wasting your time anyway, even if you do the event it doesnt give the item

Protect the owl spirits from Jormag’s minions rewards the defeat the hunters trophy, and protect the owl spirits doesnt reward any trophy.

Ive stood here for days waiting for the protect event to happen because the preceding event never fails and when it does finally happen it doesnt give any trophy. This is very bad game design and very frustrating and makes me want to stop playing.
please send me the friend of the owl spirit trophy item.

Well I waited there all day and finally got the event to happen but it didn’t give me the item. Wasted all my time for nothing.

Well i stood here all kittening day and finally got the event to fail so the otherone starts and it didnt give me the trophy GG anet GG what a great game design this is. what a kittening waste of my time.

That makes no sense, why wouldnt it be the last item in the collection if you’re supposed to do it last it says bring your primed raven and a vision crystal it doesnt mention having to do all the other stuff first, anyway the trophies for the owl spirit are the wrong way round so its the never failing event i need to fail that needs doing for that.

Another event thats bugged is the herd the pygmy moas, its frozen half way through with no more moas about so i cant finish it.

really stupid game design, screwing over lots of people.

Combine raven and spirit is bugged, no option at the heropoint to meld.
Also friend of the owl spirit is bugged, i did the event but it didnt give me the trophy it gave me the friend of owl trophy. also the event for friend of owl never happens because the pre event never fails.

Ive added some attachments, you can see me on the leader board and its showing bronze and silver ticked but the mastery is not unlocked and i get no reward chest, ive also tried it on 3 different characters.
Its stopping me unlocking the rest of my masteries.

im still getting mastery points from other achievements, its just adventures

Ive tried 8 different adventures across 3 maps 2 of which id never tried before and im not getting any reward, ive even got gold on two of them. Its showing me on the leader board and showing the ticks next to broze, silver etc but im not getting any reward chest or mastery point unlocks.
This started since the last update.

I just bought a super weapon skin from the trading post, i double clicked it and it just disappeared. I didnt get a pop up window to apply it to my weapon or anything. What happened? Is this a bug or what? Have i just lost a load of gold?

No one in any of my guilds (2 of which are full) have seen one. Ive also never had a bl key drop in nearly 1000 hours of play. Guess im on an unlucky account. I also seem to have DR on me for the last month or so.
Remember when rares used to drop from enemies? The only way i get rares these days is to craft them with all the bones i get.

Having to buy gold or exploit the game isnt how i want to get a legendary. I played for 700 hours before i even saw a lodestone and the price of the precursors is ridiculous.
Adding this stuff to all the dungeons is a great idea even if its just from drops like fotm.
Bots wont be able to run dungeons so it will help reduce that too.

the cost is fine, it makes it worth earning. Its a nice feeling when you achieve it.

yes. everybody is experiencing this. Lets just hope the fix it asap. Funny how it coincides with the terrible gem/gold ratio on the trading post isn’t it.
Maybe they’re trying to make some extra money to fix their servers and sort out the lag and culling issues that makes most of the game unplayable.

Any news on when this is going to be fixed? FOTM drop rates seem to be ok but orr is a joke, 90% of the enemies dont even drop anything and what they do drop is trophies and blues.

Tried with mf on and off and off seems to be slighty better.

I farmed for 5 hours over 2 days and havent had one rare drop. Before the patch i was getting several an hour.
Also the ecto rate from rare seems to have halved.

This needs fixing asap

unplayable, its not just in the new area but anywhere there is more than 20 ppl my game freezes for minutes at a time.

GW1 had loads of skills, and elites you had to travel the world to capture from elite bosses which was awesome and very fun.

GW2 has hardly any skills or elites (90% of ranger skills suck btw) and skill points which isnt awesome or fun.

GW1 had unique bosses (loads of them) that dropped unique weapons that you could create certain builds to farm and you could sell to make money etc…
I spent 100’s of hours farming unique weapons using loads of different builds and loved every minute of it.
As a ranger in GW2 i have 2 builds, traps or spirits both suck btw

GW2 has the mystic forge (ruined the game imo) End game now is running back and forth between 2 events in cursed shore to farm materials to put in the mystic forge.

The thing that made GW1 great was the 1000’s of different builds you could make and having stuff to do with them.

When i play GW2 i use my 5 weapon skills 95% of the time, WHERE ARE MY SKILLS? oh yeah there isnt any.
