Dunno about a single LS currency (it doesn’t bother me too much, except for the inv space issue), but for sure we need them (the LS currencies) to be added in the wallet. It’s already there… it wants your crests, geodes, etc…

Imo, there’s no point in raising the level cap if there’s no gear progression, and GW2 (and Gw1 for that matter) is not one of “those” games.
Same thing apllies viceversa (i.e., there’s no point in gear progression if there’s no level cap update).

We don’t need added levels to keep playing, we “just” need new maps, dungeons etc… :P

Solution: don’t use your beta key and wait to explore HoT together when it comes out :P

blue longbows that come to mind:
- ascended with vitality primary stat (kinda expensive though, and not very useful stat-wise :P);
-Arah;
-AC (but only at nighttime);

I feel there is just no way to please everyone.
- Lottery via mail? “oh noes, why didn’t I get a beta ticket! People who don’t even play got a ticket!”
- RNG drop in game? “Oh noes, it’s RNG why didn’t I get a ticket!”
- (hypothesis:) tickets via high difficulty quests? “oh noes, I just started the game, why can’t I get a ticket?!”

I like your ideas, but I think people will complain anyway :P

I wouldn’t care about it. I’m not going to spend ingame currency to buy a precursor on the TP, and I’m not going to spend real money (o ingame one for that matter) if they ever put precursors in the gemstore.

You will still be able to use the other weapons on engi, yes I guess rifle is the more viable of the 3 (not counting hammer, don’t have an opinion on that yet) in pve.

As you’ve bought the game, you have more character slots so I suggest creating an engi, a mesmer and a necro, and try them out. Only you can decide what’s fun to play for yourself.

I won’t enter in the whole “meta classes” debate (e.g. necro is not wanted in dungeons etc…), because we’re just 2 days away from HoT and… yeah, just not going there :P

This is a non-issue unless you WANT the items NAO! The new Extractor items (for 30 crests) give you the previous LS key item with 100% chance (so, basically, it’s not random) . We now have the tendons one available, I gather in the next 2 weeks we’ll have the fangs one too, and so on.

As there’s a cap on daily (now daily+monthly) achievement points, isn’t this request a bit “useless”? (sorry for my english, can’t find a better term for this :P)

What I mean is, we’ll get to the cap eventually, and in this the achievs differ from the BL collection achievement (which is rightfully been corrected).

The only (few) times this has happened to me it’s with merchant NPCs spawned by other players when it happens, as cupcakesandcatnomz (nice name) said, just select the npc with your mouse.

Do you really think that 1 precursor on a year worth of daily logins (which might very well be more than 1 year in actual terms, for most people) would alter the market so much? I… don’t really think so.

AFAIK only GW2 uses this format, so no, you don’t have to check 100+ games (I’m not debating if this is a good or bad format). Also, if you know that a company uses this format, and you think you might coming back to the game sometime in the future, keep an eye on the updates every now and then.
Anet specifically explained the format beforehand (2 weeks free etc).

As for cashing in, again, you can buy it with ingame currency, so your point is not valid (at least, not entirely, I hope you can see it).

The pay once play forever applies to the core game, in the same way that buying D3 doesn’t get you access to the expansion part of the game. again, this has been already stated multiple times, they only thing you’re missing are the LS chapters (which you can play with a friend who has them unlocked) and the achievs. The maps are there for free.

…all those caps gave me a headache Anyway,

1) there are character slots in the gemstore available for that, I think the devs just won’t do it (also, why would you want to change? it’s not expensive/hard to just lvl another toon and then you can play both professions when you like it, with no cost in gems for an item like you suggest).

2) Uhm yeah they could do that in makeover kit, but for the other races too, maybe.

3) The fern hound is a living creature in Tyria, not an accessory, they don’t come in different colours just because you want them to :P
