Bumping this post again looking for a guild. No luck the first go as I didn’t really get any replies, so hopefully there is a social guild out there that is recruiting. I’m having this same issue with starting this current event. Contacted CSR and they didn’t really have any ideas. Found this thread and I’ve asked people in game about opening a rift up for me (both in guild, various map chats including the one with daily events and LA). My responses vary from silence to people having no idea what I am talking about.
Anyone able to help so I can actually try and complete this current event?
Also went to Gillscale Pond and ran around there are an hour or two and came up with nothing.
Been with my guild for awhile now and although friendly, they just do not socialize at all. I could be on for a few hours fully knowing there’s 30+ people on and not a single peep comes out of guild chat. Sure…they could be using some other chat function such as discord or mumble, but as far as I know, that’s not the case…but either way, I want to see people actually socialize and furthermore, talk about things that aren’t even related to the game.
So, I am looking to move on and find a guild that actually uses their guild chat to you know…CHAT! I am looking for a guild that is casual and focused primary on the PvE aspects of the game as that is my preference. An adult friendly guild.
Also, I’d also like to participate in guild missions again as my current guild reduced theres from two days to one day and the current day regulate towards missions is a day I am always working on (the other day however I could participate in). So yeah, it’d be cool if you’re a populated guild enough to run guild missions at least several times a week or hopefully a day I could be present.
I especially would be keen on joining a guild that is more active towards late nights (Pacific Time) as that is when I am mainly able to be on…however I do play other times…so it’d just be nice knowing there are people present.
Mind you, I’m not expecting anything. I love to help people out that need or want it…but I do enjoy seeing people actually chatting, socializing, sharing and just in general displaying they are part of a coalition of people in more than just name.
I’ve love to hear from anyone that has a guild that might fit this criteria and if you wanna know more about me, send me a message in-game.
For reference, I currently play on the Gates of Madness (North American) server. I am Pacific Time as previously states.
Been having this issue since the latest patch. I went to clear the cache, but oddly I have no cache folder to even clear. Anyone else experiencing a similar issue?
Perhaps not a popular suggestion, but I’d like to see the World Event bosses have their health pools increased. Tired of people reporting a boss being triggered (Shadow Boss) for example just to port and waste my money to find it’s dead or just killed because a dozen people killed it within 20 seconds.
I am sure people report late as well, but these world bosses really should pose more of a challenge anyways.

Hey there, casual player looking for a casual laid back guild on the Gates of Madness server. Specically looking for a guild more focused on fun and PvE content, based in Pacific Standard Time for events.
Haven’t jumped into any instances, but looking forward to with some easy going people. Capable player that is self sufficient. Friendly and respectful. Times I am usually on is afternoons and evenings, however, I have a tendency to be a night owl, so I also might be on late at night as well.

Not sure if this was intended, but I had assumed Nourishment buff from food items carried over zone to zone. I was doing a personal story quest and was instanced, I decided to pop one of my food buffs since I knew I was going to be fighting a bunch of mobs. Didn’t run into any problems or didn’t die, everything went smoothly, but I noticed when I left the instance, my food buff went away.
So is this a bug or are food buffs limited to zone?
