Agreed 1000%. No one in WvW that I know of likes or wants the PvE LS content in the maps. In fact, I’ve never heard one person say they enjoyed it. All I’ve heard is a constant stream of players upset at having to deal with the stuff. Needless to say, Teamspeak chat about it is… interesting.

Please remove LS content from WvW.

Can anyone CONFIRM without a DOUBT that if you switch your gender to male and “Finish” the Makeover Kit, then use a second kit to switch back to female that you’ll get your glow back?

Some have said they switch to male in the Makeover Kit to see their glow DURING the process of the makeover, but not whether this resolves the bug with not having a glow. (Two separate bugs that I’m describing—possibly poorly because I have the flu. :>)

They refunded me for 3 Makeover Kits after I posted on the other board yesterday. <3

Thanks, Laii! I put my incident number in the second thread and made it very clear that I had not received a refund for the 4 kits I used on my Sylvari female. Mail today said they are “reviewing” the situation.

I’m not sure what there is to review except that there is a bug they’re not telling people about when they buy the makeover kit. :/

They’re “reviewing” my support ticket. It’s been several days now, and no refund. I spent A TOTAL OF 4 kits to try to fix the issue before finding out that there was no problem on my end and that it was, in fact, a known issue.

They should at least have a tag on the kit saying that Female Sylvari shouldn’t use it.

I would like my money refunded, please. As someone said above, if you are selling a faulty item for real-world money, you should be refunding that money.

Is that taking one kit or two? For example. Do I use a kit, switch to male, save, and use another kit to switch back to female? Or is it using one kit and simply toggling genders real quick before saving? My poor little ele looks so dull without her glow.

I would like to know the answer to this also. And is it a sure-fire fix? I would hate to have to drop ANOTHER $10 on it to switch back to male if it doesn’t work…

I had to change the gender of my Sylvari from a female to a male because the glow bug is still not fixed. I have tried all the suggestions made by others in this forum and other forums. Nothing works.

When I originally created her, my Sylvari female had black hair and a red glow that WORKED. When I used the makeover kit, her glow disappeared. I wasted 3 makeover kits—that’s REAL WORLD MONEY—trying to fix this issue. Finally, I used a 4th to change her gender to male to get the glow.

I shouldn’t have to spend my money to fix a feature that the developers won’t fix. And it’s not even fixed even after I spent 1400 gems on it! All I did was change genders to get a glow and have my character look (mostly) as it was intended.

Please fix this bug. Please, please fix this bug. And also, I’ll be looking for a refund.
